“Said no call out charge and over 90% of cases are fixed within that hour. Charged me £198 for 5 minutes visit to say a leaky valve need replacing, it would take 5-6 hours to do the job at hourly rate of £198.
Showed the valve to a different plumber quoted £100 to replace it , 12-14 times cheaper than this company. Don’t be fooled by no call out charge. As soon as they arrive they ask you to sign a consent that you want them to start investigating the problem and there goes the first £198.”
“Practically robbed my elderly Mother making her pay money up front for materials and not providing a quotation at all for labour! Then taking 6 hrs or so for a couple of minor jobs. Grand total almost 1000 pounds for a new tap and 3 minor toilet cistern drips. Disgraceful company who are listed at companies house as a call center, with over half a million in cash sat in the bank in 2023 robbed from vulnerable customers.”

They are scammers, no work man shown up. Only by chance I rang him, he says he isn't even associated with this company and he has given him bad name with customers..

THIS COMPANY IS AN ABSOLUTE SHAM. DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER USING THEM. FIRSTLY YOU WILL BE CHARGED £75 FOR CONTACTING THEM PLUS VAT, THAT'S £90. THEN YOU HAVE A CALL FROM A WORKMAN OF WHATEVER ILK, IN OUR CASE THAT WAS A FURTHER A FURTHER £65 AND THEY HAVEN'T EVEN STARTED THE JOB YET BUT YOU WILL GET A TIME, SOME JOKE THAT IS BECAUSE NOONE WILL TURN UP. OUR JOB WAS TO FIX THE HOT WATER ON OUR HEATING SYSTEM. WE HAVE MANAGED TO AGREE SOME OF OUR MONEY BACK. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY SCANDALOUS. I was away, so my son called "Local Plumbers" for help with the doors. No rush, can call when convenient. Pleasant guy came, worked with my son's help for 30/40 minutes, sadly without success.
Billed for £150...after a vehement phone protest, a discount of 50% was offered. My contact was a letter repeating a "discount" to £75; and threatening proceedings. No call out charge claimed. Paid reluctantly to avoid further stress.
So, almost a week of my pension for an abortive result.
The rate given for plumbers is £40/£60.
Nice work, if you can get it.”
