“Appalling company. They should be struck off. I phoned about a leak in my house. Paid £200 call out due to bank holiday(Saturday ) which isn’t a bank holiday. Spoke to my lodger who knew what the issue was.. some missing tile grout outside shower. I immediately called back to cancel. Was told I could not get a full refund due to cancellation charges!!!! 10 mins during which time a workman had been despatched. 10 mins cost me £100!! Outrageous money grabbing cowboys!”

Came out to fix dripping tap. The Soputh African plumber hadn`t a clue how to fix my mixer tap. Wanted to remove the whole sink!! I stopped him. Eventually he managed to loosen the whole tap unit by using brute force. I suggested how he could remove one screw and then the Cold water tap cover to replace the valve. He did this The charge was £138 + £42 for the valve + Vat Total £216
Two days later the tap was dripping again. My son was up for the weekend and
he got two new ceramic valves for £16 and fitted them in 15 minutes. The valve fitted by the plumber was the wrong size and had been used previously.!!
I asked the plumber for a receipt which he said would get from the printer in his car
so he went out to get it but drove off. No receipt!!!”

“I explained to your phone operative that the thermostat on my immersion heater needed changing, so the guy came out and said I needed an electrician and he could not do it. Shouldn't he have checked to see if he could do the job first before insisting I sign first, after all you do say "no call out charge" and why was he sent to me when I was assured they would send someone who would complete the job for me regarding the thermostat? He was at my house for 10 minutes and I was charged £150.00 for no work and still no hot water. I asked them to come over regarding the leak in the bathroom, hoping it would be a simple fix. Instead, they came over had a look for 25 minutes and told me what i already knew. The charged me £198.
They said not to have a shower and they will give me a quote with the cost of repairs. After calling every day sometimes more than once a day, the person on the phone said the engineer is writing the quote up and will tell me by the end of the day. I never got the quote and, because of the advice of the engineer, I didn't have a shower for whole week.
One particular customer service adviser was laughing at my situation. Which was really unacceptable.
I called my local plumber and he came over, got the things repaired with 2 days and it only costed me £100. The repairs was done and it was completely different job to what this company told me

I would strongly advise against using this company.
I initially contacted them to investigate a bathroom leak, expecting a straightforward repair. An engineer attended, spent approximately 25 minutes on site, and simply confirmed what was already known, yet I was charged £198 for the visit.
I was advised not to use the shower and was told that a quotation for the repair work would be provided. I followed up repeatedly—sometimes multiple times a day—and was assured each time that the engineer was preparing the quote and that I would receive it by the end of the day. Despite this, I never received any quotation. As a result of their advice, I went without using my shower for an entire week.
To make matters worse, one customer service representative behaved unprofessionally and was laughing during a call regarding my situation, which was completely unacceptable.
Ultimately, I contacted a local plumber who attended promptly, completed the repair within two days, and charged £100. The work required was entirely different from what this company had indicated.
It has now been three weeks, and I am still yet to receive the promised quote.
Overall, this experience has been extremely disappointing, and I regret engaging with this company in the first place.”
“This company completely mislead us we rang for a plumber and they told us it was £84 plus pence for a plumber to call,they sent a lovely guy who was very helpfull. But when we come to pay the quoted £84 they said it was £194 we said he was only here 25mins,which he then told us it was£84 for thirty mins with minimum charge of 1hour which he n̈ever told us leading us to belive £84 was for an hour. They charge £82.50 per half hour with a minimum of one hour’s work, but this wasn’t clearly explained at the time of booking. I wasn’t the person who arranged the call, so when I queried the cost afterwards, the staff member even admitted, in his own words, “you wouldn’t believe how many times I have to explain this,” which suggests many customers are confused by their pricing. I was recently charged the excessive and unjustified charge of almost £500 for a simple blocked toilet call-out. As a vulnerable pensioner, I believe I have been taken advantage of, and I am extremely concerned about the legality and fairness of the price charged.
The service provided did not reflect the cost demanded, and at no point was I given a clear breakdown of fees, a written quote, or any explanation that the work could cost such an excessively high amount. The action required to unblock the toilet was minimal, and the fee charged is grossly disproportionate. Expect a formal complaint ASAP. Trading Standards have also been informed.

I strongly advise other consumers—especially elderly or vulnerable individuals—not to use this service. The cost charged was excessive, not explained beforehand, and does not represent fair or ethical practice.”
“I feel I was scammed as I was told it would be £82.50 for half hour work and then a minimum rate for an hours work. The plumber was able to fix the leak within 15mins, so I am at a loss as to why I was charged £198 for a 15 min job. I thought it would be still be £82.50 even though the work was done in less than half hour.”
