“So far I've had great results and it works. I got my device in Monday and had to use it multiple times because I had one of those migraines that will just not go away and yesterday I had no signs of a migraine at all. I still felt exhausted but my brain wasn't foggy and I didn't feel hung over like I usually do.”

“Nerivio does help my migraines when I have a starting one, some cases they do come back after an hour but most of the time it really helps.”

In the meantime, here are some tips that may be helpful: Setting Intensity Since each migraine attack is different, there is no one right setting. The intensity should be strong, but never painful, and should be set within the first few minutes of treatment.    The + and – buttons on your phone screen allow you to set the level, and just after you start a treatment, you can repeatedly press the “plus” button to increase the intensity until the sensation feels strong but not uncomfortable.  During clinical trials, the most effective treatment was obtained with intensities over 20% and with averages between 25 and 35%. If you do not get to 20%, however, do not worry, as long as it feels strong. Although the intensity may feel as if it gets weaker during treatment; this is normal and is just your body adjusting to the sensation; there is no need to increase the intensity further.

“My migraines are coming from a bad disc in my neck, at least in part, so it’s hard for me to judge the effects of Nerivio. It does seem to get rid of my head pain, but that’s only a part of my attacks. It doesn’t help the numbness.”

“There’s several issues for me , trying to relax during a migraine headache and the device on my arm ! Just hard to concertante .”

If you are having a difficult time relaxing, you can carry on with your daily routine while the 45-minute treatment is running. The only restrictions are:  Do not use the Nerivio® device while driving, cycling, or operating any vehicle or machinery. This could create a potentially hazardous situation that may result in a minor or moderate injury to the user or damage to equipment or other property.    Do not use the Nerivio device on wet skin or when bathing, showering, during exercise, while sweating or in high humidity.  Please refer to the Nerivio User-Manual for full prescribing information.  If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to call Nerivio Cares at 1-937-637-4846 Monday-Friday 8am-8pm EST.
