“Nerivio is definitely a help for my severe migraines. However, when I get my worst ones, I feel it’s a lot of fiddling with your phone to set it up, answer the pretreatment questions, & getting the armband synced up to my phone. My husband has to help me with this, because I am in sooo much pain. I usually fall asleep 1/2 to 3/4 way thru my treatment. I start out w the meditation exercise to help w my headache during my treatment. My husband must remove my armband after the 45 min treatment, because I’m allergic to the stickiness on the band. I have to finish my Post treatment questions the next day. Overall, Nerivio helps my migraines, but I have issues w accessing the treatments.”

“I have had severe migraines since my car accident in 2016 where I also suffered a vertebral artery dissection. So my neck hurting , weather stress triggers my migraines, so the Nerivio feels exactly like the many TENS units I've used over the years. Instead of it being on my neck or shoulder blade it is on my arm basically trying to get my mind of the pain, which it does right after the 45- minute treatment. But on my moderate to severe migraines the pain comes back within 2-3 hours then I just put ice my head and neck. I try to use every other day but without an acute migraine regimen the last 2 days I've used 2 days in a row. I'm concerned if it is actually doing anything. Just want to be honest. Especially for those with complicated migraines like mine.”

“To Whom this may Concern, 11/11/2022 Well I am a new client . I am still trying to find the right spot for my Nerivio . I have a concussion which I received about 5 wks. I have been using my Nerivio . So I don't know if that holds any weight on how the Nerivio would work and how any differently ? Did you do any clinical testing in this area ? “I've only been using this device for a few days. I usually get chronic daily migraines. This device helps because it lowers my stress and it seems to put my mind and body at a calm state. It doesn't take away the headaches, but it takes them too much milder place. This device usually takes care of other migraine side effects like nausea. I would recommend this device, not as a primary migraine solution, but as a backup to a primary... it does help very much.”

“It doesn’t work that well for severe headaches but is pretty good for milder migraines or before a full blown migraine starts. I use it in conjunction with my other medicines and would use it more if I didn’t have to pay so much for it. It needs to be covered by insurance.”

“I’ve used it 2-3 times already and it brought my migraine attacks down from a 7 or 8 to a 3. I’ve been setting the intensity between 30-38% and any higher, noticed my arm became numb close to the area where the device is. Wasn’t sure if that was normal.”

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Regarding your inquiry about the intensity, here are our recommendations: -Since each migraine attack is different, there is no one right setting. The intensity should be strong, but never painful or uncomfortable, and should be set within the first few minutes of treatment.    -The + and – buttons on your phone screen allow you to set the level, and just after you start a treatment, you can repeatedly press the “plus” button to increase the intensity until the sensation feels strong but not uncomfortable.  -During clinical trials, the most effective treatment was obtained with intensities over 20% and with averages between 25 and 35%. If you do not get to 20%, however, do not worry, as long as it feels strong. -Although the intensity may feel as if it gets weaker during treatment; this is normal and is just your body adjusting to the sensation; there is no need to increase the intensity further.  If your migraine headache is not aborted following treatment, or the headache returns, you may administer additional treatments. We do not have a limit on the number of times you may treat in a day, though we have no data on daily or long-term use. Please consult your healthcare provider to discuss long-term use. “I have found it reduces symptoms and my migraines last less time. It went from 2-3 days to 1-2 with less symptoms to that are less severe. it helps about 80% of the time allowing for me to do things needed of me. The app does have some bugs needing fixing though. Including the fact that sometimes it disconnects from my phone randomly but continues to go, not allowing for any change or to turn in it off.”
