“I don’t like your new system Of ordering was much easier to type in what you wanted I’ve Even taken to using Google which takes more time
I’ve always been an ardent fan of The Warehouse and its excellent wide variety of goods, including grocery, and good pricesand have spent a huge amount of money there but am tempted to spend at KMart now and on line companies like Dick Smith and supermarkets”
“Was disappointed by the lack of counters open to serve me. Waited more than 20mins. Unfortunately, I forgot that the store prefers you to serve yourself than provide human contact to make the shopping experience friendly.”
“I was at the pukekohe. Got 2 packs of tomatoes, my favourite went to self service counter, scanned but noticed that the counter had some liquid on it, told staff lady she said it must off been from last customer I picked up the packet of tomatoes and told her that the tomatoes had a rotten one in it and asked if I could go and get another packet she said yes rather bluntly. I went back to get another packet which there were only six left another rotten packet was really bad. Took it to the checkout lady wasn’t there so I told someone else that they need to check their stock so disappointed actually I buy these all the time and my daughter said to me that always like that mum which is true always have to throw some away. Lazy up here.”
“Today I went to buy a digital watch at The Warehouse, Rangiora. I selected a watch and asked if the young man could set it for me. He said that there would be a $25 charge. I was horrified as I have bought many watches from them in the past and never been charged for setting them. I left without the watch and a very dim view of their customer services policies.”
“Buyers be aware... bought a veon TV at the Thames Branch. TV did not last long, 2months in and the screen did not want to come on. Took it back and expected that the faulty TV would be replaced. But no they said it must go in to be repaired. It is already 3weeks and we have heard NOTHING from them. We also use the TV for our office screen so currently we have no TV and no screen. Rather buy TV and electronics somewhere else! Wish we did!
Really unacceptable service!!”
“I have seen availability online late at night 5 times at the Glenfield Mall branch and arrived near opening time the following day to be told there is none in store.
This is a complaint I am told of many locals.
I suggest your team take a look at systems in place and sort that branch out.
Not impressed.”
“The warehouse sent my item in a timely manner. However, I am really unhappy with their choice of courrier, appalling NZPost! A week later, after being told TWICE (on June 9 and June 13) that my parcel should arrive "today"; it's now June 14 and still no parcel. Customer has no choice in how parcel gets sent. NZPost has shocking reputation and online reviews and when you call to enquire, you don't get to speak to a human being. On 2 separate days I was told my item "has been picked by courrier" and they then hang up on you! That choice of courrier with such lousy couldn't care less 'service' reflects on The Warehouse customer care and service, hence only 2 stars.”
“I was going to purchase some sheets and then got confused by one of your product statements that is supposed to make me feel better about purchasing a product. This on Living and Co sheets.

“I've done the right thing and booked day and time.. 20 mins still waiting.
There us such a long line of people waiting.
What went wrong.. you are the best ones to answer this question??”
“Protip: order from kmart for online delivery versus The Warehouse.
My large order is coming from multiple stores around the country but I have one local to me. I checked and they actually have all the items I ordered on the shelves. Tracking status for most items is 'waiting pickup' or they are still trying to find the items in their whatever stores around the country.
Placed order on 26th. Confirmed same day and orders distributed to 5 different stores.
Still waiting.
The only joy I get from this is knowing that I only paid 1$ for everything and I reckon a safe labour and delivery cost estimate would be over $65 easily.
And yes, wish I just bought in store now but I was extremely busy moving house and cleaning out for the next few days and I just wanted an easy experience.
So just tremendous really. The Warehouse online delivery is a wasteful, labour intensive failure with a high carbon cost.”
“Hi I've been treated badly by warehouse in Rotorua been trying to get some one to contact me but no luck I have left messages and phone number never going back there again”
“I recently went to the Dunedin South store as I was on a road trip and needed extra socks. I went to the woman's sock area and was disappointed to see they only had a range of thin summer socks and those short socks which are basically just shoe liners. On my way to have a look in the garden section (my compulsion) I passed the men's sock area. I turned a bright shade of green as I checked out the winter/work/tramping socks as well as thinner, summer socks they had to choose from.
I just wanted to remind you that in our wonderful 4 seasons in one day climate women as well as men like to get out and do stuff. We don't just get to sit inside keeping warm and looking decorative. I trust you will have a look at this situation and cut the blatant sexism.”
“The customer service lady at westgate Auckland branch was so unhelpful not very approachable didnt want her job by the look on her face.I pride myself on giving a pleasant service when dealing with customers maybe she is better off on a invalids benefit poor dont buy here poor lack of products available.”
“WARNING:
Brought a 65 inch TV 5 months ago and it got damaged. I tried to get it repaired/replaced I even said I would pay for the repairs but they were useless and could not help me in any way. I now have a giant paperweight which I don't know what to do with. I will not be buying anything from them in the future.”
