I ordered a new Yanagisawa Curved soprano saxophone from Thomann on a Friday evening from the west coast of the USA. It was shipped on Saturday and arrived in the U.S. on the following Monday. I was absolutely amazed! The shipper was experiencing severe weather-related delays however, so it took another week to be delivered. Still, that was not Thomann's fault. The instrument arrived in a well packed double box....triple if you count the Yanagisawa case. The best part of the experience though, was that I saved $2300 over the cost of the same instrument from the few U.S. retailers that had it in stock! All of the communications with the Thomann representatives were quick and pleasant. Truly excellent service.

First time customer from the USA. Had questions and email response was prompt and answers were helpful. The order was out the door in a day. Shipping was a bit more and most US based suppliers offer free shipping but fairly quick shipping from a reliable shipper was used and the package made it from Germany to California in a week. It was well packed and everything arrived in tact. The price was by far lower than anyone stateside and on a just under $500 order the savings were $177 even when factoring in the shipping cost. Color me happy. Thanks Thomann!

I just received my sixth Harley Benton guitar and with the exception of one guitar that was damaged during shipping they were all well made and a great value . I had no issues with the damaged guitar that I had to return . The lower end models are a perfect for beginners but if you are a seasoned player the higher end models can't be beat . In the future I hope to see Harley Benton come out with some TE and ST models with the same specs as the anniversary guitars but offer more colors and a roasted maple fretboard .

Es increíble para mí comentar que, luego de una búsqueda intensa de unaa pieza que creía discontinuada para mi batería MAPEX a través de la web, fuera la firma THOMANN el camino más práctico, dinámico y sencillo para mí como comprador. Pude disponer de un artículo que incluso, habiéndolo abordando con el canal de MAPEX oficial no obtuve una respuesta tan efectiva como la que ustedes me proporcionaron. Thomann Customer Service is HORRIBLE for any products that fail or get defected during their normal warranty period! Read their terms & conditions before you buy anything from them!!! If any product that is still subject to warranty has any defects, it will be repaired "AT THEIR SOLE DISCRETION". So if they decide to keep your product for 2 years in order to repair it, you can't do anything about it. Moreover, if your product stayed in their shop for repairing for 6,12 or 24 months, you will NOT get the equivalent of that period as a warranty extension as anyone might expect. "Product defects which are recognised by Musikhaus Thomann as being subject to the guarantee obligation shall be remedied as follows: at our discretion, the defective product shall either be repaired free of charge or replaced with a fully functional product (a subsequent model if necessary). (...) The guarantee period for the product shall neither be extended nor renewed as a result of the provision of services under the guarantee." I am already waiting for more than six months to get an estimation date for repairing a HDMI Wireless Transmitter (CVW Crystal Video Swift Z) under the warranty. After 6 months since I've sent my defective product to be repaired and I asked for status of repair and a repairing/replacement date, their official answer delivered over the phone was mind-blowing: "If you find a repairing time on our website please send it to us! We cannot offer a due date for your repair, please contact us again in a few weeks..."

Really bad experience, specially with the delivery and the customer service I ordered an amplifier boss katana the 18th December and is still not delivered the courier service saids I was not at home which is NOT TRUE, I tried to contact customer service by phone and email, but they did not respond and force me to contact directly the courier service instead, I haven’t had any help from Thomman customer service other than go and ask the delivery service yourself when I should interact only with Thommann customer service so that is why they are for, to help when needed. I totally discourage any purchase on this website and I will not buy anything from Thomman anymore. Totally disappointed, problems with delivery are ok to happen but customer service should help rather than evade involvement and responsibility Specially, that case the package is heavy and it’s about 17 kg weight

My speaker cab was not delivered despite UPS emailing me that I had received and signed off on it. Thomann went out of the way to resolve this automated delivery message error with UPS even though Singapore is time zone is 8 hours ahead of Germany. Thank you Thomann.

Not sure how Thomann got such an average grade when I received A+++ service. Always up to date on notifications and any questions where answered within an hour by customer service rep. Mutec clock was double boxed and delivered in perfect condition. Would definitely do business again . Great job Thomann!!

I purchased two products and within 5 hours, I received an email letting me know that the product I was purchasing ran on European standard current and I would need a converter. Unfortunately I had to cancel the order and they had that completed within 5 minutes of me letting them know. Their customer service is exceptional. For them to let me know that the current was different than the US instead of just “making a sale” says a lot!! I hope I can order from them soon!

I ordered the Harley Benton 2x12 vintage vertical speaker cabinet and I’m truly blown away of how nice it sounds but I was even more impressed how fast it shipped to my house in the United States. It took only two days and it came packaged in pristine condition I will definitely get another one to run stereo in the near future. If you’re looking for cab that sounds as good if not better than a $1000 one, look no further and get the Harley Benton vertical 2x12 and you can thank me later.

Very happy about my last order - i usually order my electric guitars whilst on vacation in France but this year 2023 was unable to travel and so i have decided to order directly from my residence - order left Germany on 25 October and i cleared my order from Customs authorities after 26 days ( weekend inclusive ) A perfect customer service and all items received in perfect condition as the packing was superbly done thus protecting all items during shipping - MANY THANKS THOMANN - KEEP IT UP - BIG CHEERS

The folks at Thomann are amazing (Julia Hofer is a queen!) Your customer service and communication are fantastic! I love the 1st Harley Benton TE80 guitar I bought so I just order the BM75. Regarding the TE80, it was massively heavy. I had a luthier route over a pound out of the back to make it lighter. It has an amazing neck. I also got the leopard pickguard and the Kinman pickups that Prince used. I play it all the time!

The customer service at Thomann is second to none. Rapid implementation of real solutions for issues of any kind is their standard. I have rarely had issues with any product, but the one time out of many orders that something was not right, Thomann customer service jumped into action immediately and resolved the issue in no time. I am in Portland, Maine, far from Germany. Their customer service outperforms most companies I've ordered from, anywhere in the world. Because of their customer service, I'm a customer for life.

Bought for more than DKK 12000 Couldn't return a batterhead! Have bought for more than 1700 EURO in the past 12 months and yes, there are probably people who buy for more, but I would call myself a good customer. And it also went well as long as I ordered and I paid. But when I bought heads for my entire drumset (one of them)and had to spend some time getting it tuned optimally, the problem arose. I don't like an Evans head and unfortunately bought 2, so I would like to return one (brand new and still in the package) and exchange it for another. But I can't. At first they misunderstood that I want to return a used head, but even when I told them, that I just wanted to exchange it to another, the answer was no! The skin was received by me in Denmark approx. July 1st and I wanted to return it October 21st. How sad - too bad! That was too late! Disappointing customer treatment of a good customer, I think, and now Thomann have saved the job of having to exchange a head, but received a bad review instead. Because, in my view, this is extremely bad and extremely poor customer service. (And despite many emails back and forth, they are not moving an inch. Therefore we are now at the beginning of November, and I'm about to cancel my latest order, and clearing my basket for the monitors for my home studio.)
