I have used this company for years with variable results but this year the service has been dreadful. I place my order for plug plants in March for delivery in May which arrived in dribs and drabs much later than stated and in not very good condition. I have had to nurse them into health. The latest to arrive was to have been the centrepiece of my display and has just arrived (15th June) with its growing points broken off so no display this year. I use other plant suppliers who have coped very well in the difficult situation. This year will be the last I use this company.

Dreadful company. 2 months after the order was placed we are still waiting for items to be delivered in spite of being told within 21 days! The plants we have received were small and poor quality in fact some were already dead on arrival. It is impossible to contact customer service as they have closed their phone lines and never answer emails. We did eventually get a response from them after posting a poor review! They offered a partial refund on some of the dead plants and assured us the rest of the order was imminently to be dispatched. We received 6 half dead tiny herb plugs (which were advertised as jumbo plugs! ) 10 days later, and the final item 2 over priced bags of compost which we needed to plant the order in has yet to materialise! Do not touch this company unless you want to be very disappointed

Plants arrived dead. Emailed on 22/5/20 and still no reply over 3 weeks later. They weren't cheap! Disgusted! Won't use again.

Thompson and Morgan what a shame you are losing so many customers. I live about 12 miles from you and it still took 8 days to be delivered and plants half dead .still not received my hanging baskets and you don't reply to my email.

Bought 36 geranium plug plants of this company ,came with very little life in them just one growing so no hanging baskets are trays this year ,leave this company well alone

i will never use this company again i placed an order in april i have still not received part of it iv emailed about another order the plants arrived dead digusting they never even replied to any of my emails.

The first plants came half dead and only a few survived the second lot of plants came damaged and so leggy they cant stay in the vertical position and I'm awaiting the third lot of plants with the feeling of dread, I would never use this company again!!!!!

do not use this company every plant sent out was dead or short in numbers do not answer phones email etc we have lost over £90 disgrace

First plugs arrived and half were dead but I did receive a refund. Second batch arrived and more than half were dead. Now waiting for an 11 June order and I can’t believe they will be OK because they are delicate plants but we will see. Such a bad organisation. I’m finished with them as I am sure lots of customers will be, it’s all they deserve.

The first part of our order was delivered early but included stretched badly damaged garden ready plug plants. The fertiliser from the order was missing. Contacted T & M by email still not received a reply a month later. Appreciate present difficulties but even taking this into consideration the standard of Customer Service Is appalling. The second part of our order, due by the end of May has still not been dispatched two weeks later. Heaven knows when the end of June part will be delivered!

Sic I could hive no star I would, the plants were in a bad condition when they came only 18 plants instead of 20. 3/4 of them are dead now even though I followed the instructions and put them in water before planting them in a tray ready to transfer out. Took picture sent to them e mailed 3 times and no reply. Agree with all the other reviews a discusting company and about time the media should hear about it.

If I could give minus stars I would . Absolutely appalling company, no customer service , I have now sent over 100 emails with no result . I have asked for a refund for plants ordered pre Covid but still not supplied . The quality of plants that have been delivered is shocking , Yet they are still advertising plants for sale . I would not recommend this company to anyone , I have used several other companies who have delivered on time and good quality healthy plants .

Ordered mid April. Have received, on and off some of my order, of which, some plants and bare roots have died. Some plugs have flourished. Others have not yet arrived, apart from a number of promised that they will be picked and shipped within 3-5 days, or possibly 5 days, and I’m still waiting. I am so worried now about these, as these were Jumbo plugs, if they tell me I cannot get them, I will not be able to get them anywhere else, or if I can get them, it’ll not be enough time to have them establish. I have received a couple of refunds, but the latest promise of one, which is about £17-18, I am still waiting for, since 28th May. The photos are my ceoanthus, one dying the other thriving. Others, please avoid at all costs. I have used T & M for a while now, with similar problems and will not use again.

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with, no answer to emails sent, the tracking does not work, they did not deliver my order, I had to get Paypal to get my money back. I can not emphasise enough how bad they are.

I agree with all the previous comments. I made a substantial order in March and out of the 5 items ordered, I’ve only received 2. The last one (5 geranium plugs) received today Are small, yellowed and broken in places. Very poor quality. The pair of viola baskets were wilted but with a bit of TLC from me they are lovely now. That aside I’ve sent 5 emails about my order which haven’t even been acknowledged let alone answered. I have tried to ring on about 8-10 occasions only to get an answer service to say they are not taking calls as they are trying deal with emails! 😳 This is along with trying to work from home! I know Covid has had an impact on businesses but I’ve ordered plants from other suppliers without any difficulties. I am extremely disappointed and would like my money back. I’ve shared this experience with my gardening club and would not recommend this company to anyone!

Awful customer service, no phone lines to talk to anyone, no reply to emails, you have to voice your complaint on their Facebook page which is ridiculous. I would NOT advise anyone to ever use Thompson and morgan for plants. Rotten to the core.

If I could give no stars I would! I ordered in March prior to lockdown, plants came in dribs and drabs over the months, shockingly packed and at least half didn't survive. Finally my plugs came this week and more than half were already dead, those left don't look great and unlikely to survive. I emailed customer services and got a bog standard email, advising not to contact them again and i would hear from someone within 14 days. I will never use T&M again, dire plants and shocking customer service.

They deducted my money straight away in March. Still waiting for half the order. Everything I have ordered has been absolutely awful. The plug plants died within 24 hours the trees were so bad I would not even buy them in a bargain basement. The tomato plant is the wrong one and yellow and half dead. Wrong variety I'm not even going to bother to plant it. I can hardly wait for the geraniums they will probably arrive by Christmas ! This used to be a good company!

I echo all your previous reviews with my experience. What terrible customer service! or lack of it! Trying to get a refund for my sweet pea seeds and having written twice, still no signs of a reply! Will certainly not use their company again! Very cross and disappointed.

Half of plants were dead on arrival, still waiting for remaining order which should have been delivered in may, sent emails but no reply, go to a garden centre don't waste your money.
