Whilst I realise that times are difficult due to the coronavirus but the customer service from this company has been appalling. I ordered some plants for some elderly neighbours on 5th May, after 21 working days I tried to make contact with them. Their phone lines are closed and their customer care email support takes 10-14 days to reply. I have now asked for a refund but now have no idea whether the plants are being shipped or refunded. Their website tells me that the expected dispatch date was 9th June. I will never buy off them again and would suggest that others think hard before doing so.

Never ordering from this company again. Had so many problems. 1 of 3 bare roots never grew. Ordered bedding plants...estimated dispatch middle of July!! Emailed them (as phone lines are shut down) to complain and ask for refund weeks ago..... no response. Very disappointing buying experience

My shopping experience with Thompson - Morgan this year has been very poor. Generally the plants I’ve received to date have been only average and below in comparison to those received from other online companies. The main issue has been non receipt of plants paid for and an inability to get a response. Totally unacceptable to treat customers with contempt.

Waiting now over three weeks for someone to contact me after complaing about orders I received. The only response was an automated email. Most of my plug plants were either dying, dead or spindley. Needless to say most never survived. In one order one third of the order was missing. So I have stopped buying from them until they react to my complaints. Come Thompson-Morgan you are usually better than this.

Appalling communication about delayed/cancelled orders and frankly fraudulent attitude to refunding when they have cancelled the order. They refund less than they charged for plants and also kept the delivery charge on an order they cancelled so never delivered. Shocking

what went wrong was using your company, 72 plugs ordered only 6 survived, tried contacting you same reply get back to you with in 5 days every time i tried you never did, dreadful product awful after sales service. never use your awful company again.

Bought a Hibiscus plant for my daughter as a present. When it arrived the box was damaged, the bag holding the roots was open and soil had fallen out. We thought we would try to salvage the plant and put it in the soil according to the instructions but the plant was dead. No shoots nothing, just a brown twig. Very disappointed with the quality of the product and the despatch. Not forgetting the face it was a gift.

O rdered Toms on 2nd March left it for a month contacted them by phone (yes by phone)I was told order would arrive end ofmonth.They didn't arrive emailed them (as phone service was not available) informed would be delivered 17th April then told end May.Latest 8th June (now 17th June).They never reply to emails and THEY change date on system as to when ordered.I ordered 2nd March they have changed that to 8th June.DISGUSTING CUSTOMER SERVICE AND OUT AND OUT LIARS.I have ordered from them for 20 years Never again.

Ordered 72 geranium plug plants in Jan for delivery late March, they arrived late April half dead, I complained and got apology with promise of replacement by the end of April after reminding them of non delivery was told they couldn't find my details,resent them and received replacement at the beginning of June--even worse than the first batch---sorry T&M you have lost yet another customer

Received a delivery of plants 2out of 10 were alive requested replacement & they were as bad also still waiting for begonias 3 weeks overdue Will never order from them again

Ordered and paid for 60 lettuce plug plants on May 17 only to be advise 4 weeks later that my order had been cancelled and a refund was in process. Could have grown them myself by then. Ludicrous.

order for diascia and impatiens arrived in poor state as delayed in the post contacted them 4 wks ago asking for replacement or refund in line with their 100 % satisfaction guarantee but no reply to initial and further 2 attempts to contact them !!!

So I have waited several weeks for my plants despite the money being taken when I ordered. Plants arrived today. Waste of money. I paid £30 for what looked like lovely plants on the website. Comparing what I have received with local garden centres I would have paid around £10. Now garden centres are open, hopefully online stores will stop ripping people off. Awful plants....very disappointed!

Plants arrive dead and they are not answering the phone Today along with half dead geraniums they sent me a £10 voucher as they cannot fulfil my order,which was placed weeks ago!Never again!

I ordered surfina plants on arrival plants in very poor condition broken down to root stems customer service said grow them on dont worry they will grow back and they didnt contacted customer service they said they had lost or didnt recieve my emails with photograghic evidence resent still no reply even left my mobile and tel number they haven't got in contact .THIS IS A DREADFUL COMPANY WITH THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AVOID AT ALL COSTS I WILL NOT BE PURCHASING ANYTHING FROM THEM AGAIN. P.S AND DONT BLAME COVID 19 AS AN EXCUSE as a phone call or email is available

l ordered plants on the 22nd of April and the 1st of May. The money was taken out of my account immediately. lt is now the 16th of June and no sign of the plants which were due at the end of May. l expect to get the dregs after the decent plants have been ordered through Ideal World TV program.

Order for tomato plants placed on 26/03/20 Waited , waited ,waited received 01/06/20 five dead tomato plants. emailed Thompson and Morgan. Told do not contact us again we will reply in 10-14 day. Scandalous. 14 days later. Still no reply. Criminal. Strict rules govern distance selling. Will be contacting Trading Standards tomorrow.
