“Was quoted £19.95 for a replacement watch battery at Timpson Pembroke Dock yesterday. Came home, watched YouTube, bought a battery and replaced battery it all for £1.50. Timpson charge ridiculous amount of money!!”

“I have just returned from my third visit to the store in Wandsworth Southside shopping centre to key one front door key. None of the original four keys worked so i returned to the store for a second try. No apologies for none of the keys working just issued with four new keys. The second set of keys also failed to work so a got a refund. No apology for none of the 8 keys not working and my third visit to the store. I have also incurred three lots of £2.30 parking fees and still have get new keys cut! Timpson's serve as a low cost key cutting serviced but have failed miserably on this occasion, will not use Timpson's ever again. Will happily pay more for a 'get it right first time service with a smile' organization. This member of staff clearly needs re-training on cutting ordinary front door keys and his level of customer care really could be better. Disappointed customer, expected much better! Complete waste of time.”

“Wow, took my watch into Timpson for a battery, but turned out it needed a service. The guy told me how much it would be and I agreed to it, paid for it and was told 3-4 weeks before it came back to me. 3-4 weeks later I have just received a message from Timpson telling me that service will cost something completely different from what I was quoted and paid for. I have obviously asked them to explain. Stay well clear.”

“Tried to get 2 front door keys cut from a working original. The first set they cut did not work.. one key only went in to the lock part way and the other went in, turned partially and then got stuck. 45 minutes later we were on the verge of calling out a locksmith when my partner somehow managed to wiggle the key out of the lock. I returned to Timpsons (Eastgate Bristol) to get a refund but was told by a surly shop person that their (Timpsons’) policy was to try again with different keys before giving a refund. No apology or even the slightest bit of empathy for the distress caused. I was clear that I was not happy with this policy, but having little choice gave them another chance. This turned out to be a further waste of everyone’s time as the second set of keys cut would not even go into the lock. I will go back again tomorrow for a refund and see how that plays out. In the meantime I’ve contacted Timpsons, who despite their auto response telling me how important my email was and claiming that they would get back to me within 24 hours have so far (24 hours later) been in touch. Very poor customer service and useless product.”

“I always go to the Tmpsons inide Fenwick of Newcastle as the gntleman there is always helpfuland politewhether its for shoe/boot repairs or a watch battery replacement. I cannot fault him.”

“Been to two different timpsons in as many weeks. Why do the staff seem to have an attitude problem? Don’t get understand they have a job because of customers? The way Timpsons bang on about great service isn’t the reality!”

“I went to Timpsons in Morrisons at Dumbarton. The staff there could not have been more helpful. They were friendly, polite and helped me with what I needed. Excellent service I will be shopping there more often.”

“I have today collected another suit from your branch at Morrisons store in Totton from Christina who was standing in for the manageress who was away. Christina couldn't have been more helpful and, like the experience I have always had from Timpkins, went the extra mile with ensuring everything I requested was resolved quickly. Your staff are a credit to the way you run your business.”

“Had a battery replaced in my key fob couldn’t believe the price was £10.00 as I also got the spare replaced from the same company but at a different branch about 2 months ago and they charged me £6.00. I think they charge what they like. Will definitely not be using this service again!!”

“Brilliant customer service this morning in branch at Tesco Pitsea. Didn’t catch the person’s name but he was friendly, helpful and informative. I didn’t even know there was such a thing as a lifetime guarantee watch battery so pleased I went there this morning.”

“Took my Iphone to have my screen fixed at the Northampton Grosvenor centre in their one he service. It had to be sent away to be fixed as they broke it when fixing it. When it was returned they had broken my phone beyond repair. It was brand new 2 months earlier. All they are prepared to offer is a secondhand old phone or a few quid to buy a secondhand one. Everyone who I've spoken to and everyone who's seen it on Facebook are disgusted with how your company has behaved. You broke my new phone the least you should do is buy a new one. If a company damages your properly you should make it right.”

“First Class Artistry by Timpson's Fenwick Newcastle upon Tyne! A bespoke shoemaker said they could resole my Barker shoes using stitched leather soles. Instead they destroyed them using glue and only replacing a small section of the sole, a heel also fell off two days later. Timpson's completely rebuilt the shoes, stripping them back to just the upper sections as the Welts also had to be replaced from being previously removed to enable the leather soles to be stitched to the upper sections. I truly thank Timpson's for fully restoring my Barker shoes to their original splendour. If you are looking for trust, integrity, professionalism and first-class craftsmanship, go to Timpson's at Fenwick Newcastle.”

“In (Morrisons) hull Had 3 office keys cut the 1st time, didn’t work as wasn’t cut properly, Went back cut for a second time, Guess what only 1 worked as I’d had to file a mm off for it to work it’s just a waste of £25”
