“Sunny in Beaconsfield did a great job replacing the heels of my Timberland shoes and in quick time. He replaced a watch battery too. Top marks!”

“I made the mistake of buying two Timpson's watch battery lifetime guarantees. Both guarantees cost just under £25 each. One watch I bought the guarantee for was old and turned out to have a fault and the other watch also has a fault so neither watch can be used. The moral of the story is beware of buying this guarantee if your watch is not going to last long enough to get your money's worth out of the guarantee.”

“took my sketchers trainers into shop wanted my insoles stuck back in was told didnt have any glue to stick them and man wasn,t interested have since stuck them with gorrilla glue so very poor service . Shop was outside Tesco in Sudbury Suffolk.”

“Was in timpson store at Asda Toryglen to get a few pictures printed. Being a woman of a certain age I did not know where to start. The sales guy David was so helpfull and talked me through everything. He had it done in minutes for me. Thankyou David. Excellent customer service.”

“Visited the Timpson in Tesco Ystrad Mynach & the gentleman was so helpful & sorted out the zips on my daughter’s 2 bags whilst I did my shopping. Timpson’s staff are always so accommodating & always prepared to try & sort out any issue”

“If you have a complaint about being treated rudely by Timpsons staff, don't bother to even try to complain. They don't want to know. They'll just keep passing the buck and then turn it round on you. It is the most disgusting company as regards customer service you will ever encounter. They do not give a damn.”

“Again, like many others I got ripped off by Timpsons in Bristol Clifton down. I was quoted £25.00 for phone battery and was charged £50.00. I was rudley told that they saw the wrong price at the time and that no one wants to do old phones like mine and that I was lucky they did it for me. Ripped off and humiliated. Rip off & rude staff. Never again”

“This company seems to be experts in employing the most rude staff I've ever encountered and when you try to make a complaint to head office so called customer services they do nothing but fob you off & treat you like you are the wrong doer. They don't want to know. Total disgrace. Avoid at all costs.”

“Went in to ask about New battery in cheap old watch and they said it would be £30... I left and checked online. The batteries are about £1 each. Absolute rip off. Glad I walked out”

“I phoned Timpson to enquire about a glass replacement for my watch. First off, the assistant seemed to be a little reticent. After some moments of thought they gave me a price. £45!!! Now if this had been a watch of considerable value then yes. But for an everyday, “cheap” timepiece, then NO! These prices are extortionate! I’ll never enquire about anything that Timpson trades with again. CROOKS!!!”

“I researched the cost of replacing the broken key online and realised that there was a part I could change myself if the part was available. I could not find the part so I went to Timpson Key and locksmiths at Park Farm Ashford. The guy quoted me up to £200 to replace the fob and reprogramme the key. I explained that it only needed a part replaced, but he insisted that it would cost about £200. He was very unhelpful so I told him I would do it myself. I eventually got the part, replaced the damaged key blade holder and now the key works perfectly. It cost me less than £15 to do it myself. I would advise anyone who has a broken or faulty Car Ignition Key Fob problem to research online first and avoid being ripped off by Timpsons and Fords.”
