“Tippsy has enabled me to begin exploring the wonderful complexities and varieties of sake. I went from enjoying a few readily available sakes at local restaurants and stores, to loving sake and the various flavor profiles I never knew existed. I love the index cards and tasting videos that come with the Sake Boxes, providing information on the respective sakes, flavor profiles, and brewery history/profiles. Tippsy membership comes with great rewards, and their customer service has always been prompt and helpful. Whether you already love sake, or you are knew to sake and just curious, I highly recommend Tippsy.”

“I initially signed up to take advantage of a lucrative discount code, but was super impressed with Tippsy's selection, information, and passion. I will definitely stick around as a member. I've ordered sake from other online retailers, and get absolutely crushed by the massive shipping fees; Tippsy's free shipping for members is a game changer for me! Their rewards program is a nice perk too! As someone who is constantly pushing nice sake on all my friends, colleagues, and random people I meet (haha), and someone who is trying to break down the mindset of it only being enjoyed with Japanese food (I've served it at Thanksgiving dinner, with tacos, with steak frites, etc.!) - I really want to support a company that is supporting the promotion of widespread appeal of sake. I think back to some years ago when it was weird to bring some IPAs to a party - but now IPAs are so ubiquitous. While I'm not sure if sake will reach the same heights as IPAs (one can hope!), I see the trend of sake becoming a normal, regular drink for a wide range of occasions - and I see Tippsy on the forefront of this!”

“The service was great and the selection is fantastic! For a real sake lover you’re able to get bottles from Japan and they all come with cards that explain a lot about the process and the companies that make them. Tippsy is a great service, quick delivery, and came very well packed, so that nothing would leak. Must buy!”

“The freshness of sake is important when it comes to taste, and freshness deteriorates with age. I have access to sake where I live, but the taste of the same bottle can vary depending on age or how it was stored. Unfortunately, the shops where I live have bottles that sit on the shelf for periods of time. I decided to subscribe to Tippsy's pay every 3 months subscription plan to see how the freshness of their sake delivery service stood up to my local shops. After receiving my first box, I was happy with the overall experience. The box is sturdy and the sake well packed. There was a beginner's guide, newsletter and a well-made description card for each sake. The best thing for me was that each half-bottle of sake wasn't more than 8 months old (more on this later). I tried several of the bottles and each bottle was excellent in terms of freshness and taste. I then visited the Tippsy website to see what other sake boxes I missed out on and it was then that I realized that Tippsy had sent me an older box for my first order. I was supposed to have received the June 2022 box but got the December 2021 box instead. I enjoyed the December box but wanted to ask if I received the correct box so I sent an email to Tippsy's support and within 6 hours Tiffany responded saying that they were sorry for the inconvenience and that they would be sending out a June box to me right away. I was happy that their support team had responded so quickly, but I was skeptical that they would be sending me a new box for what I thought was a minor error (shipping is not free to my area since I'm not part of the contiguous US). Today, about one week later, I received the June 2022 box with sake that's 5 months from the manufacturer's date... incredible customer service! Tippsy has won me over with their fresh sake (has to be less than a year old) and their amazing customer service. I'm looking forward to trying the full bottles listed on their website, as I'm familiar with a lot of the brands that they carry, and comparing them with my local shops (I'm pretty certain Tippsy will have new bottles and hence better taste). Keep up the great work guys!”

“I fell into the rabbit hole that is sake with Tippsy Sake during the Covid-19 lockdown. I have a learned a wealth of fascinating information about sake production. The gorgeous booklets and notecards that accompany most orders are 1st class. Video tastings and special events. I was so impressed with their offerings. They once had an oysters and sake special! The care with which they package items and the speed of shipping is 5 star. I have no complaints and when I do have any questions or concerns I find that the customer service is A++ My life has changed for the better. I find that sake doesn’t make me sick. I can drink it all day and no headache, spinning 🤕😵‍💫🤮 I prefer sparkling sakes to most champagnes. “Mio” is an amazing sparkling sake and very reasonably priced. There are so many, too many to mention here. My family and friends delight in my journey as I love sharing and it’s fun to expose others to all of the unexpected flavors of sake. I ENCOURAGE YOU - EXPLORE THE WORLD OF SAKE WITH TIPPSY”

“Hello Tippsy, Thank you for very good service getting my Junmai Ginko to me! The one issue is that 3 times one of my favorite bottles leaked. Twice not too bad but once, 1/3 of the bottle leaked. It is the Kudoki Jozu. That is very good Sake, a bit sweet but very smooth. Also, I had taken you all up on a promotion for free glasses that I never received. But overall I am very happy with Tippsy. I'm a bit crazy for the good life drinking good Sake after a long day working. Best to all of you at Tippsy. Mark”
