We visited this establishment whilst holidaying in the area We were delighted with our purchases and the assistant at the till was very friendly My reason for 3 stars is because the restaurant lets it down The member of staff who served us was so miserable We ordered pasties and she asked what do you want with that and when we said we wanted it on its own the look she gave us could have turned us to stone We ordered teas and got asked how many sugars we wanted My partner has a sweet tooth so we asked for 6 and it was if we were asking for the Crown Jewels! We did intend to return for more refreshments later in the day but in view of the reception received we went elsewhere I think the staff member concerned needs to attend a course on customer relations!

When I bought egg chair website clearly stated "Delivery up to 7 days". As haven't received any update after one week, I called customer service. No sorry just asked to wait, "COURIER WILL CONTACT YOU". After my call website was updated to 'delivery up to 14 days'. Courier arrived early morning without any calls and delivered the chair. Luckily I was at home. Not interesting to have any other shopping with them and not recommend them to anyone!

Bought a pair of sunglasses, broke within two days, took them back and got a different pair same price. they too broke within a week. Gave up.

This is not really a review just a complaint that I have purchased several boxes of your WHISPER ladies briefs and found that the top material breaks away from the elastic waistband. The first few boxes or four pack broke away but I just thought it was a bad batch and decided to give you another chance and bought two more boxes from Sheffield store only to find these are exactly the same. As these seem to be faulty or seconds zI am asking you to do something about these as they are NOT fit for purpose. I know you do not normally exchange underwear and I do not have the receipt because of this, but I feel that you should refund or exchange on this occasion. Please reply to this request.

The ordering process and the online discount was great but the emails that told me my order had been received, that my order was despatched, that my order was due at the location and then finally the one that mattered ie the email saying I could pick it up seemed like a bit of an overkill - one saying pick it up now would have sufficed, and it did take over 7 days to come from Liverpool to Middlesbrough so that seemed like an age. Perhaps it was because it was Christmas...?

Store Customer Service was not very friendly and They were not farmiliar with the Click & Collect Service.

The item that I ordered took 6 days to arrive. It was sourced from a from a relatively near store for 'click and collect' but I was not updated of the reason for the delay. Only when I sent e-mails asking about my order's progress did receive an update, so I overall I was not very impressed. Your system needs looking at to keep customers informed and ultimately, satisfied.

Our system updates customers when the item is dispatched to store and when the item is ready for collection - we find that on occasions the email has gone to the customers junk folder. Product very good in fit quality n comfort, but whispers are so not surprised I expected there quality.. But post was a long time. Ad stuff from China faster!! So if ur in no hurry great, missed my friends birthday bcos they hadn't arrived!!????

We made the order on line 17/12 for delivery to Sheffield depot, however the email I gave went to my work email and wouldn't receive it until Tuesday, I called TJ Hughes 19/12 explaining the situation, and what Identification I'd need. I was told to just bring a driving license, passport etc. I drove from Chesterfield to Sheffield paid parking to discover my parcel hadn't arrived and that I needed the web number. I wasn't told this on the phone or I would have got the email from my place of work. When I did get the email it informed me my purchase was coming from Liverpool and that I would receive another email once my order was ready in store. I called everyday which cost me extra on my network mobile charges (£20.00 in total) to finally get a call back from depot in Sheffield to say it arrived on 23rd Dec which only gave me xmas eve to fetch it as Friday night opening late wasn't a definite. I was told on the phone that the night before wasn't necessary so they may not stay open late. I was very relieved to have got my purchase before xmas day as it was my little boys main present. I was happy with my purchase, price paid but communication could have been better. I believe you have only recently started doing to click and collect in Sheffield so teething problems were likely. Could have been a better experience but my little boy was happy.

It wasn't clear that some Christmas items were battery operated. One box of perfume was not cellophane wrapped. On the other hand, prices were good and delivery very quick.

The website did not give confirmation of order so I ended up ordering 2 of the same item. I still had nothing to confirm so went out and bought the item. I received 2 e mail's a couple of days later to say the items were ready to collect. The refunds were done quickly and efficiently.

Ordered 2 polo shirts which arrived fairly quickly however they were not the size advertised & then others were out of stock. To be fair a full refund was credited promptly although I'm still waiting for postage refund
