I was looking for the Cry Baby doll for my daughter for Christmas. I couldn't track my order as every time I tried to I was redirected to the log in page. On an email it stated that my order would be with Yodel. My parcel didn't seem to move from "it will be with us soon" status but stated it would be delivered on or before 20th December to which it was not nor had it still moved from the status said prior. All the while my parcel was actually with Royal Mail with no notification of this courier change. Only thing that was right was the original date the email stated it would be with me.

Thank you for taking the time to write your review and for the feedback you have provided. We have reviewed your order and can see that the confusion has occurred due to the fact that YODEL had not been able to send the items due to a scanning error - so they had sent the order back to our warehouse. We reallocated the order to Royal Mail 48hr delivery to ensure the order arrived before Christmas. We would like to take this opportunity to apologise for any inconvenience caused. I ordered 2perfumes and 1 aftershave the perfume was delivered to the store in time for xmas unfortunatly the aftershave has still not arrived and they were ordered the same time it has also cost me £4 in phone calls to no avail

Ordered a box of crackers. They took a long time to come and arrived with the box very battered.

Product requested arrived promptly however I had a query with it I spent three days trying to contact customer services to no avail . I then rang one of the shops who said I had to return the order back by post with a special number only obtainable from customer services I could not return it to a shop. I continu d to ring the number on the enclosed returns notice but no reply. I again contacted one of the stores who said I had been ringing an incorrect number and gave me a totally different number on the through to customer services the lady on the phone was very helpful and said she would send me a prepaid leaflet and they would send a replacement . This however left it too late for Christmas, so the suggestion was made to return the snowman and ask for the money back and buy a snowman from the shop. I visited the shop and explained my problem to one of the staff in St Helens who said they had someone in with a similar problem but it was because the toy was in demo mode and when opened up and the tab removed it would work. I then sent off the toy to my great niece for Christmas and have not heard anything negative yet. I do think it poor that a returns notice is sent out with an incorrect telephone number printed on it , this should be rectified however on a positive note the staff were pleasant and helpful when approached

No complaints with service but lose out on rating due to not boxing up the item I purchased. It was posted in a bag, not a jiffi bag, just a grey postage bag like I was buying from ebay. This was a Christmas present and fortunately the box was only slightly squashed. I expect better was a big retailer.

Ordering and collection were simple enough and updates for parcel tracking were comprehensive. Packaging was terrible, I ordered Christmas crackers which were pretty battered and squashed. Other items looked in a similar condition but thankfully contents were ok inside.

I ordered a curtain and christmas lights fron TJ and I had an email confirming my both orders are ready for collection and when I went there only curtains were available for collection. I was told that I will get anither email when the lights are ready for collection. It was on the 20th I was told about this. I even asked the store if they have thise lights in stock and could they give me one as it was already the 20th if December. The staff in the store said they are helpless. But now even after Christnas I still havent recived the lights. I am a regular customer of TJ Hughes but it is very disappointing and I will never again buy anything online from TJ

Ok product. You get what you pay for and this is one of the cheapest chocolate fountains available. Delivery was disappointingly slow.

Bought item as Xmas present however did not arrive and hadn't hear anything so had to email. Then blamed courier and eventually sent out item. Arrived just before Xmas thankfully.

Fast delivery .correct item but did home delivery .and they sent it to store . Rang store they said it was being sent to home a dress . .later it was sent to store i was refunded my pp after 2 trips to store .the upside I did get the item for christmas

Quite often buy from this site and overall quite satisfied. Bought a few items lately and 1 paid for one item in stock. Turned out to be not in stock. Took a few weeks to find out not in stock though and receive a refund. Also purchased another 2 items and received them o.k.
