“Awful - Won 3 auctions, tried to pay and their system was down. Just spent 17 minutes on the phone trying to pay and the guy kept telling me different amounts to pay (all higher than I should be paying), he kept forgetting my ring sizes and put me on hold. When he went to put me on hold a third time, I said I needed to end the call. I had called to pay, I have no idea why he had to keep putting me on hold and not actually taking the card payment. I have paid for nothing and ended up with nothing - what a joke! One item was a ring for mothers day which mum won't be getting.”

“The man was very helpful but I didn't give full marks in the hopes that someone will take notice of this: I'd just bought a ring which had free ring-sizing but was told by 2 staff that the ring had to be posted to me first and I had to then post the ring back to them for the free ring-sizing. I queried this on both occasions as the process seemed ridiculous but was assured it had to be done this way. When I called back to ask for a returns labelnonce the ring had arrived, I was advised by customer services that the ring didn't have to be posted to me first and could have been resized before being posted to me, which made far more sense. He said he'd feed this back to his manager and to the women I spoke to but I'm now unnecessarily out of £8.65 for the registered return postage, which I didn't need to pay after all! Ridiculous!! I would like to be refunded for the postage if I have indeed been given incorrect information by the staff.”

“I've been shopping with TJC for quite a few years now and have made a lot of purchases - at least one every week. In 99% of cases, I've been delighted with both my items and the prompt delivery. I've always found Customer Services very helpful too. I really appreciate the Budget Pay option and the £7.99 a month delivery. One thing that needs great improvement is your website. It's not only very unreliable, with constant error messages, but there's often no logic to the listings (e.g. I've searched, for example, for a 20" gold chain and what comes up is a page of rings - this sort of error occurs fairly frequently). Recently, I've tried to add a new payment card, but have been unable to because it keeps telling me the expiry date is 'invalid', when I have the card right in front of me and the information I'm typing is 100% correct.”
