We get so excited to try all the goodies inside. I hate that Covid is making my boxes come late, but when it comes, I am extremely excited. One issue is that, sadly, my drink has expired in the box”

But, received my july box less than 2 weeks ago and got my August one this morning! Amazing and tasteful snacks from Japan. “I'm not convinced this isn't a scam - my box was apparently posted on the 8th of May and no sign of it when it is nearly August. TokyoTreat point blank refuse to refund you. Apparently they will only consider a refund if the box is returned to them - when the delivery is either clearly lost, or was never posted in the first place! There are so many complaints online from people who have experienced the same thing. Avoid this company.”

And when I reached out, they gave me a generic robotic response that they're sorry to see me go blah blah but not acknowledging that I wanted to cancel!! This company is a scam, avoid if you can unless you like wasting money on sample sized junk”
“The service is horrible - their website says it takes 3-5 weeks for the box to arrive (which I thought was bad enough) but when I followed up (because my box hasn’t arrived even after 5 weeks), their response was that I shouldn’t worry because it now takes 60-90 days!!!! Incredible! I have received other packages from Japan within much shorter timeframe. I just saw others complaining about their incredibly bad service too. I wished I saw them before I ordered my box and wasted money....”

We received our first box today and we are incredibly pleased and amazed. It arrived fast, with everything perfectly packed and enough room for everything to not be squeezed, so all the crunchy goodies are in perfect condition. The amount of things to try is higher than we were expecting, so that was a great surprise too. It also comes with a booklet explaining what every item is (super helpful!) and some useful information about contests they are doing.
Overall, we are really impressed and happy with the experience!”
