“I'm very disappointed, as of today the glass has cracked across the middle and I installed the glass with a new gasket and lightly tighten the screws but after a couple weeks running the stove the glass is now cracked”

Charles, I just looked into your order. Looks like you ordered 1/8 thick glass. Which is unusual for a pc that big. Standard thickness is 3/16" thick. It is quite a bit stronger than the 1/8 (which is typically used in light fixatures) My guess is your ordered a glass that was too thin for the application. We do offer a one time 1/2 price replacement if you wish. but i would upgrade to the thicker glass. you can call us if you wish to go over this - Mike 217-223-0999

“Broke my glass in the Jotul after 30 years of use on a cold evening with freezing in forecast. Ordered replacement over New Year holiday. Order confirmed the 1st,shipped the 2nd, arriving a day or two later. Service rarely seen anymore.”

“The replacement glass was a perfect fit for my stove. The instruction sheet was extremely helpful and educating, specifically telling me not to overtighten the screws due to the temperature changes that cause materials to expand and contract. The gasket that came with it made the job easy.”

“I was sold gasket tape i did not need for my new window glass. 15$ could have been spent on what i do need. That could have been the money for the magnetic thermometer i need for my stove pipe. Product was sent on time as promised. I think it was a little pricey. But i had to have it. Bring back the good old days when life was affordable.”

“My only complaint is the arch portion of the glass was a bit to big for the frame. So I had to trim the frame to make the glass fit. But the quality is good and the glass is clear”
