“Easy selection & on-line buying process. Delivery was a bit more tricky as it had to be signed for and there was no option to give instructions to the delivery person.”

“overall satisfactory product and service but a big let down was the lack of packaging....the item arrived in the original box with what was inside emblazoned all over it ...not good security measures for a company advertising these products...and the whole world to see...needs to be seen to for future folks...sorry on this point only I score you low..”

“I tried to warn you in advance about the joists underneath the safe - you told me not to worry, that your men will find the way of fixing the safe down. Well, they did not!! They were otherwise nice chaps, but they did not have the screw required. In the end I had to purchase a drill bit and 12 mm 28cm long screw altogether for about £30 to do your job! Any refund? Invoices available upon request. The safe itself is sturdy as advertised, however the electronic lock on the door is wobbly and certainly does not inspire confidence or a solid value at £ 2100!!! Could I have it looked at?”

“The price for the safe was very competitive but they were a little slow in letting me have an installation date but once I chased them twice it was booked in. Cameron, the guy who installed the safe was very professional and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.”

“Apart from having to remind the delivery guys after they had left the building that they had to install the safe the overall experience was good. Lucky we noticed that they handn't fitted the safe before they had left site, we caught them in the car park!”

“Friendly and courteous delivery staff. They did not have the right equipment to get the safe inside the building but with assistance from the Caretakers, the right solution was found. Looks like a quality product !”

“We were generally very happy with service and advice received over the phone/by e-mail and the advice from the surveyor who called was very sound. The delivery and fitting team were first class. They took a lot of trouble to ensure they did not damage the lawn, door sills and carpets which, considering the weight of the safe, was no mean feat. One ill-conceived e-mail spoiled a 5-star rating.”

Hi Kelly, Thank you for your feedback. You raise a valid point. It's more common than you might expect for instructions and fixtures and fittings to be locked inside a new safe. This is because for key safes the keys are usually attached to the outside of the safe and for digital locking safes, the code is usually to manufacturer settings e.g. "1234" When our own team delivers a safe, we also install it (for free) and we demonstrate how to operate the lock. But when the safe is delivered by a 3rd party carrier you don't get the demo. On these occasions I think it needs to be better communicated how to open the safe for the first time, perhaps on the inner packaging of the safe. I have fed this back to the manufacturer concerned. “Being a bit more flexible on the delivery date would have got you a very good. I liked being able to compare a number of safes before deciding and the descriptions were good”

Thank you for your feedback Mr Patrick :) When a safe is delivered by our inhouse teams we offer the first available date. If the customer advises us that is not convenient we will look for an alternatives until we find a date that is convenient for everyone. We can even do out of hours (at additional cost) if required. I have looked at your order and see it was delivered via a 3rd party direct from the manufacturer (Bishopsgate) and the stated lead time is 3-7 days. I'll get in touch directly with you for more information about the lack of flexibility so this can be fed back to the manufacturer. Thanks again for your comments. Kay

“Told delivery would be 9 oclock the following day. Phone call at 9 on delivery day and told it would be 12:00. Chased up at 12:00 to be told 1:30. Frustrating as we had a trustee on site to ensure the safe went in the correct position, need to be kept up to date more. However, the engineer fitting the safe did a first class job, was really polite and friendly, even hoovered up behind himself. Great safe, great job, more delivery updates please.”

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback and I'm really pleased you are happy with the safe and the installation. Further to the delivery updates, I understand when your free installation was initially booked in we were not able to provide a time. When you rang the day before installation day it was after 5pm and our operator advised it was possibly going to be 9am but that we were unable to confirm this and advised you would be called in the morning. You were called as promised and were advised it was looking to be around 12 noon. Our crew arrived on site later because of traffic and hold ups beyond our control for which we apologise. We cannot guarantee a delivery time with our free installation service but we do offer an upgrade to named day and time by a dedicated team but that comes at additional cost. We also offer a call by the crew when they are approx 1/2 - 1 hour away so perhaps this might have been a better option for you. Taking your feedback on board we will try to make it clearer that eta's are only approximate due to potential events beyond our control and we will remind our crews to keep customers updated in case of delays. “Staff were very helpful with advice to assist my choice. The product seems very good but the fixing instructions are printed in such a small size I could scarcely read them. It came a day early, which aside from a bit of luck, would have meant a second attempt at delivery.”

Hi Royston, As discussed, it appears the despatching depot thought they were being super efficient in sending your safe a day earlier than the date agreed with Tracy. We do try to accommodate requested delivery dates where possible and have passed the feedback to the relevant depot. Our apologies for the inconvenience to you and your gardener.
