“Only used the online booking system so far. That was very efficient. It would help new users if there was something about the benefits of signing up to an account before booking. I seem to have booked outside of creating my account so no record there of my new booking.”

“Booked online from Sweden. Had difficulty getting the payment through. Messed up several times regarding post code. Couldn't find an email to customer service and the chat was closed.”

“We always stay at Horsham Travel Lodge when visiting. A good, no-fuss hotel in the centre of the town with nearby parking facilities and everything at affordable rates.”

“Made initial enquiry and the price was £174. Pop-up box appeared asking me to sign up for offers. Completed box and the price went up to £209!! Was committed to these dates so no alternative - very disappointing.”

“Person on reception totally unwelcoming, BBC1 sound did not work on TV, no hairdryer and air conditioning switched itself back on at 6am and woke me up🤨”

“A rip of in expense ! Booked 5 days only , would of stayed for 6 but you wanted 200£ for the last night when the others were max 70 £ Cheaper to fly home which I’m doing”

“The staff were pleasant and helpful. Checking in process was easy. The room was basic but clean. The Shower was very poor though, as it was very low pressure. Just a tiny dribble of water. The was also a lot of noise during the night as our room overlooked the loading dock, so deliveries to the hotel disrupted sleep. The breakfast looked nice, but the individual ingredients were never all available at the same time (Bacon came out, but it was all gone by the time eggs came out. The eggs were gone by the time beans came out). So, it wasn't possible to ever get a Full English together unless you were prepared to wait 40 minutes and have most of your food cold. I'll definitely use the hotel again but will request a room on a higher floor and use Wetherspoons round the corner for the food.”

“Travelodge is painful to endure. They promise e-vouchers for compensation for freezing cold rooms. The vouchers do not arrive. You chase them up. Eventually they come. The vouchers do not work and they are for under 50% of what was promised as a goodwill gesture which turns into a series of further headaches. Forget Covid avoid Travelodge like the plague! I am livid. Does it show? This is not leisure.”
