“The lady on the reception could not have been more helpful. The breakfast box was good value. The carpet in the room was not very clean, nor was the en suite. The lift worked to start with but there then was not working.”

“The booking system is great , just if you don't know the area it is difficult to decide which hotel you choose. Luckily we can always rely on a travel lodge. There were a few in Portsmouth so I hope I have booked one near to what we want to do.”

“Travelodge ran out of toilet rolls. I had a family of 4 (2 young children). Was told didn’t anticipate number of guests. I asked for a iron and ironing board, was given and told to take it to the room myself. I asked for towels, wasn’t given any until much later. No phones in the room. Was told by staff, to press the emergency button. And ask for what is needed. Was told rooms not cleaned for at least 7 days because of covid policies however, no one wore masks or social distance, although covid is over, the policy is outdated and therefore the rubbish and towels were left in the corridors for guests to place.”

“They haven’t let me in my hotel and didn’t give me a refund. They gave me a number to ring the number ain’t going through I’m a bit angry about this and I will like a refund it”

“Great price clean accommodation and food was lovely - downside was no shampoo or conditioner in room and you pay for wifi after you get the 30 mins free and only 2 devices”
