“We booked this thinking for one night would be fine the place is full of refugees and homeless people the rooms where dirty my son had a flea crawling on his pillow, dried blood in the shower, the rooms so hot that the fan they put in the room that was full of dust was about as much help as a chocolate teapot, the television pixelated and we had to listen to people in the room next door arguing then having sex”

“Travelodge hotels are always well located, have clean rooms, comfortable showers and lots of space. Staff are invariably well trained, helpful and friendly. Prices are very competitive. Booking is easy. Why no bath mats except in Super Rooms?”

“Restaurant dinner was terrible. We had to wait 50 minutes for a bowl of the worst nachos I have ever had, no coleslaw with meal “ we have run out and I haven’t had time to tell anyone”, Half roast chicken was dried up, husband’s spinach burger was so dried up and hard he couldn’t cut through the outside edge of it and the bun was soft and “pappy”. Absolutely dreadful.”

“excellent central location, quiet room 316 on the third floor, facing the side of the building. A good night's sleep. Excellent value for money. Missing is a telephone to contact reception, and no air conditioning. You get what you pay for.”
