“Family holiday -We booked 3 flights from Glasgow to Cape Town , 2 flights from Newcastle to Cape Town and 2 flights from Edinburgh to Cape Town, all to connect to onward flight to Cape Town in London. what the site was very good at concealing ( in tiny print ) was that the flights from both Glasgow and Newcastle were to London Heathrow and not to Gatwick where the connecting flight was departing from...
we had to hire a car to take5 of us and our luggage to Gatwick- an extra stress and cost we could have done without and there was absolutely no help from Travel Up to change the flights, which could very easily have been done.
Also, the paperwork is poor and it involved many phone calls to establish what the luggage allowances were and some of the flight prices included luggage and some we had to pay extra for.

“I had booked a flight online which was paid for in full using my debit card. I had received a notification that the flight was confirmed and that the booking was completed successfully. The following day I received a call to advise that the fare had gone up and they would not honour the fare that I had booked online despite me receiving a confirmation that it was booked at that fare. After battling with them on the phone, all they would offer me was a refund which would take a further 5 days to credit back into my account, preventing me to book elsewhere. Just be careful using this agency as they certainly do not have any scruples or indeed honour their confirmations.”
“If I could give 0 stars I would. I would question the validity of positive reviews for this company. They are the epitome of poor customer service and has been a terrible experience from start to finish. So bad that I actually had to question whether this was a legitimate site. Your typical call centre, didn’t understand English and then Liam Johnson / Neil Taylor (not sure real names) react by raising voices and being condescending! Booking with Travelup caused a hell of a lot of stress prior to our holiday which was upsetting! They still owe us money for a refund - five months have passed - seems like a scam to me?! We have spoken with the Airline direct and they have informed us that Travel Up are incorrect and are not following the correct policy. Travel up also won’t show us any confirmation or correspondence from the airline. My advise - avoid like the plague and book with a reputable provider.”

Avoid at any cost. Absolute lack of customer service and 0 flexibility. Made an error in booking - British Airways would allow for the change free of charge within 24 hours from the time booking has been mad but these guys would simply demand for this £108/person.

“I booked a return flight through Travel up. My flight was delayed and I missed my connecting flight as a result. British Airways booked me onto another flight but cancelled my return flight at the same time without telling me. BA officials didn’t take responsibility for their mistakes and told me to sort it out. The first person I spoke with in Travel Up was unhelpful and told me that he couldn’t help me. I emailed Travel up and Tim Wade somehow managed to fix the problem and organise my return flight. Excellent service!! Thank you Tim.”
“AVOID!!! Received confirmation and airline locator to be told the fare was no longer available. Having been in travel industry for over 20 years I knew this was untrue they are obviously offering fares they can’t deliver.”

please be totally aware this company is very harmful, absolutely a rogue , they hold my money drag on for over 7 month , airline told me to refund me and ask them to refund me ,but they still drag on forever, because there no law enforcement can punish them , I spoke to few solicitors already , but advised no worth it because solicitor will charge you more then what they owe you , the court will not give any compensation for haring a solicitor, shock, for UK sick law system we have to pay much more to get this ticket money back .... so possible only way is to citizen bureau maybe ...i have all evidence , they cause me huge hassle, loses and effort .... is there any well experienced solicitor can help, take them to court for purposely violet consumer right ? they caused me to stay outside the UK for some month and caused me to bought two separate tickets to be able back to home in UK....can anyone help to punish them ...

is there any solicitor interested this case ? I will happy to spend £4000 fix fee to bring this rogue company to court but take my right back ... I lost at least £3000, will I get all spending and loses back or not from this rogue company ..... is anyone can do this? are they allowed to cancel your flight 7 days before departure date without any reason ? are they allowed this?
they did not need to give you any reason? they did not need to give you any compensation? they drag on my refund on and on until today over 8 month no refund...
Just look at how nice those rogues answered my review? be careful this is only pretending nicer face to trick you as publicans .... we had many conversations through email and telephone conversation ... they said here want more detail for the situation .... you just try to reply my review for showing to publicans how nicer you are .... you are absolutely completely evils on this planet, and you are the evils much much worse than anybody else in human history ....up to today ...”

“I tried to book a return flight UK-Dubai for 2 people at a cost of £1220 but payment wouldn't go through and when I called customer service they said that this was because this fare is no longer available and the new fare is £1289 - even though I had gone through the booking process and confirmed the booking!! What a waste of time. They assure me that they haven't taken payment but I'm going to check right now and then book with someone else.”
