“I didn’t personally try it as I bought a this large box for my parents. The box arrived as promised. According to my mom, other than the fruit was a little bland everything else was good. I’m happy with the customer service and fast shipping.”

“I couldn't find any persimmons or chirimoyas to purchase locally. On a desperate whim and motivated by a deep desire for a persimmons and chirimoyas, I searched the Internets and found Tropical Fruit Box. I was uncertain, maybe even a bit skeptical. The price was a concern as was uncertainty about how well some of the fruits would travel. Freshness and quality were a big concern too. After a few days of hand wringing, I pulled the trigger and bought a large box of persimmons. The order was placed on Wednesday, and the fruit arrived on Saturday. The fruit were huge. The fruit were fresh. And the fruit was high quality. Part of the price likely results from the packaging and shipping required for the fruit to arrive cold, fresh, quickly, and undamaged. In addition to these factors, the customer service was quite impressive. The company actually does honor their quality and freshness guarantee and does so quickly. Not only will I make more purchases--to satisfy my non-local fruit needs, but I told my siblings about the company and recommended the products, based solely on my first experience. If subsequent purchase experiences are different, I will update this review. But, I do not expect that will happen. My sense is that the first experience will be repeated for subsequent purchases. Enjoy!”

“This was a Valentine's gift for my daughter, who is a pineapple "nut", and is on a diet, so, no chocolate this year. Unfortunately, it came very early, but, she loved it, just the same. They polished off the first one the first weekend. I would have liked to have had it come closer to Valentines, but, she loved it just the same. Thank you!”

“The fruit was very fresh and I love that I had access to fruits I've never seen before and can't get locally. I got the large box of Prickly Pear and a complimentary Pinkglow pineapple. I was able to share with my coworkers and we enjoyed them so much. I also made syrup out of the prickly pears for prickly pear margaritas!”
