“While the contents of the box arrived in good condition, I was not excited about the variety you chose. I was hoping to receive varieties like Malika or Alphonso instead I received several Ataulfo and some other varieties that I did not care for. Ataulfo is sold in supermarkets everywhere, so why would I want to order something I can get anywhere. My recommendation is to give the customer the option to select the varieties they would like to try.”

“The fruit is different, interesting and I like trying different things but I wont be ordering another box of 5-8 pieces of fruit for $170 with shipping.”

“The ice in the box had completely melted when it was delivered, and the bananas were all smooshed from the travel. The Avocados were huge but already ripe so we had to try to eat them right away. The rest of the fruit was pretty decent.”

“We received the box safely, but only half is eatable. What should you do ? 50% is soaked with water can’t eat.”

“This was my first purchase. I was happy to find ginger and turmeric and satisfied with the price but some of it was pretty dried out; to the point that I didn’t use it. I realize some of this is to be expected but I would estimate it was about 10%. Otherwise very pleased with the purchase.”

“Tropical Fruit Box has exquisite fruits that are top notch. Unfortunately, on my latest order, after I had placed the order, your system somehow didn't recognize that, as a California resident, they couldn't ship the pink guava I ordered. At a minimum, screening for that should be part of your software. Then, after making ONE attempt to reach me, I believe you changed the order, and provided more of the other two items I had ordered. Again, the fruit was excellent, but the customer service lacking.”

“It was for a coworker, so I can't review the fruit. However, I misunderstood the entire purchase process for a gift. I thought it would come in a nice gift arrangement. And that was my fault.”

“The first delivery had more fruits and cost less than the $99 box. There were only 2 pieces in this second box versus 3 and a pineapple in the first at $71. Why is that? The second pack did not come in a temperature-controlled packaging. So the fruit did not arrive as fresh as in the first box. The second order also took much longer than the first to deliver.”

“Fruit came quick(within three days) and packed very nicely! My reasoning for 3 stars is that most of these mangosteens were very hard to open & a lot of them had this yellow stuff inside of them which was really bitter and nasty tasting!”

“Out of the three soursops I received one was very brown but the other two appeared fine. So far I have opened the brown one and one of the others and they both were quite brown inside and I didn’t feel like there was much edible fruit inside. Im hoping the last one will be better!”
