I believe some reviews are truthful and reliable and some are not. I like to check them for a company but do not rely solely on the reviews.

After two long years of trying to convince Trustpilot to realise a company was manufacturing/purchasing/faking reviews it has finally put up the yellow marker on the companies website. I have to say that I now believe Trustpilot are working to combat online fraud and thank them for this one small step. I will of course continue to watch the particular website as I don’t believe the yellow marker will stop them from bending the truth when it comes to reviews. Thank you Trustpilot. Please stay vigilant with this company!

It can be good going on trust pilot but sometimes when I put in genuine reviews for companies they don't get sent and put on. There was a few times when I put reviews on for me to get an email to say you put in fake reviews and fake name etc when I certainly haven't done this. It's beyond awful to judge another person like the same yes some people do put fake reviews on but not all do and to be falsely accused in doing this it's beyond hurtful and makes me not to put genuine reviews on all my reviews are 100% genuine

I was happy with trustpoilet until I had a review that I made to shearings coaches removed and taken off I don't know why it wasn't a bad review nor did I put up a fake review all I did was to write a genuine honest review

Using Trustpilot enabled me to get a full refund on a purchase that never arrived from a scrupulous online business with an appalling rating on their website, however my review was initially removed because I had used the word "fraud" in my review, but after complaining to Trustpilot, the review was reinstated after I had amended my review. For this reason, I must give Trustpilot some credit, however they are clearly on the side of the businesses being reviewed and for that reason I do not fully trust their website.

Overall I have reasonable confidence in this site, however I have had several 'run ins' with their so called compliance team and their odd vetting process. It appears they like a little 'vetted' honesty but not certainly not complete honesty. For example I reviewed Espares and mentioned that Partmaster was the same company and gave the same dire service. They refused to list the review as I had 'contravened their rules' or some nonsense. I had to send them links to Companies House and director's details to prove it! The latest concerned 3 recent visits to Kwikfit. I mentioned they said that all 3 cars needed tracking after the tyres were replaced, despite none of the tyres wearing unevenly. I felt it was a up selling practice for their tracking service and not actually a necessity. Again rejected without explanation. I fully understand there will be fake or malicious reviews but it appears they are being over zealous and lacking some simple common sense.

Scammy websute, they always censor your even genuine customer reviews and remove them over the time. They never remove positive reviews though.

Started as a good idea. My reviews which were replied to by the companies I reviewed were deleted? It would appear that trustpilot may be getting paid by some companies? Have stopped using them. Shame as the idea was so good. The last review I did was to a company which let me down badly and it was removed before being published, so potential customers cannot be pre warned.

The college and tutors are really good on the photography course however the prices in the college are beyond extortionate, everything is marked up well over double the average prices and the Baltic campus's location being 15-20m from other shops means you have to either bring your own food in or use your entire break travelling for food or pay the ridiculous prices.

The reviews on Trustpilot seem very different those those on Google. As the reviews on Google accord are more aligned with my own experience, I no longer feel confident about Trustpilot.

Subject: Urgent: Request for Review Reconsideration . Dear Trustpilot. I trust this message reaches you in good health. I am writing to express my concern regarding the recent removal of my review for www.mcluck.com and to formally request a reconsideration of this decision. I acknowledge Trustpilot's commitment to maintaining the integrity of its platform, and I appreciate the measures in place to verify the authenticity of reviews. However, I wish to emphasize that my review was based on a genuine, first-hand experience and was accompanied by witnessed evidence. I believe my contribution aligns with Trustpilot's guidelines and serves the community by providing valuable insights. To facilitate the verification process, I am open to providing additional information or addressing any specific concerns you may have about my review. Below are the details related to my case: - Case ID:you know. - Review Date: [Date of 1/30/2024] - Review Content: about mcluck.com I urge you to reconsider the removal of my review, as I am confident it complies with your guidelines. Additionally, I would like to bring to your attention that, as a Google Guide with a substantial audience of 450,000 views on my reviews, I am inclined to share my experiences on other platforms, including Google. I believe the transparency of my feedback can contribute positively to the online reputation of businesses.

We had registered an account with Trustpilot Business and claimed our company website. After that, we did not have any specific need to log in to that account, so we did not log in until recently since we noticed there were reviews about our company and needed to reply. However, we could not log in. We tried to use the option "forget password" and were supposed to receive an email to reset passwords- but we never received anything. We tried many times in many days, but still no result. We tried to contact their Customer Care but also nothing. The problem is that our business website was already claimed by this account, so even if we wanted to create a new account to reply to those comments, we could not. Trustpilot does not allow us to claim the same website. I am completely lost and don't know what to do.

Title: Disheartening First Experience with Trust Pilot and PureVPN Prior to my encounter with PureVPN, I was unfamiliar with Trust Pilot. My initial experience, however, has left me with a negative impression of both entities. I was a user of PureVPN for three years, during which I consistently experienced significant technical problems. The most prominent issue was the repeated disconnection of my service, often occurring in the middle of the night and leaving me vulnerable to online threats. Despite hours spent with their technical support, no resolution was offered. In an attempt to share my less-than-satisfactory experience, I turned to Trust Pilot to submit a three-star review. In this review, I also noted my transition to ExpressVPN, a change that has been remarkably positive with no issues to report thus far. PureVPN flagged my review, prompting Trust Pilot to step in. What followed was an incessant series of email correspondences, with Trust Pilot continually asking me to substantiate my review with more information. I found the concept of 'proving' my personal experience both perplexing and frustrating. Despite fulfilling their requests by providing screenshots, logs, and even my PureVPN login credentials, Trust Pilot continued to question the validity of my experience. Following their fourth request for more information, they ultimately chose to remove my review. In retrospect, this incident has led me to question Trust Pilot's methods and overall credibility. A platform intended to promote honest feedback appeared to prioritize its client's interests over the user's voice. For a first-time user, this experience has been disappointing. My hope is that Trust Pilot will reconsider their approach to such matters in the future. Ensuring that user experiences are genuinely respected should be of paramount importance.

I had a strange experience with TrustPilot - I reviewed PlusNet mobile, and gave it a negative review. All fine so far. Plusnet then added a 'missed payment' to my credit score, when I was in credit with them. I updated my TrustPilot review to reflect this. My review was taken down by TrustPilot on the basis that I had to 'prove' this had happened. I therefore sent my latest Plusnet bills to TrustPilot, showing that I had a credit on my account - for the same month that Plusnet put me as bad credit on my credit score (my credit score when down a bit). The response from TrustPilot? None. I followed up and am still waiting on a response. I've included a screenshot of the bill, and redacted identifying information, so take a look and see what you think - also included screen grab of credit change.

We have setup TrustPilot for clients, so we decided to do another. It was for an existing business with a great track record, but they hadn't used Trustpilot before. The thing about them is in the name: Trust. But their reviews, are not a TRUE reflection of the customer reviews. If you are new, and you use TP from the outset, you might perhaps get 2-5 customers posting you wonderful glowing 5 star reviews. However, and I don't know how reviews.io works, but with those lovely 5 stars, you do NOT get 5 stars over all. It's worked out in some bizarre method that makes no sense. Surely, if you have 2-3 5 stars, like on Google Reviews, it means... yay, you are a 5 star reviews business. NOOOOOO not in Trustpilots eyes it doesn't. It means you are only around 3.4-3.8 stars. So out of choice, would you pick those, or those with 5 actual stars. hmmmmm.. I understand that one business might have 100 reviews and the new business has 3, but if the new business has just 3, but they are all 5 stars, why is it fair to only show it as 3.5 stars, when in fact, on average, it's had 5? It's so grossly unfair, and they use terms that no real human can understand, to get their heads around their daft setup. Would we recommend TP again to someone - no. If they asked us about it, we'd explain this dodgy setup.
