“Turstpilot is just a scam. The way they operate is the next, they charge an annual fee to the companies which want to be advertised at their website. As soon as a customer want to give not a great review to one of "their" companies they will ask you for documentation like invoices (even if you provide them invoices through your email, still they will ask you for more info, even there's no more. But until then your review won't be published). Basically they charge companies a fee to only upload good and great reviews and delete the fair and bad ones, while they will make you waste your time.”

“They instantly believe everything a company says leaving YOU to prove you're telling the truth. How many can be bothered to prove their negative experience? Sending in potential confidential information (address, full name, etc) How many negative reviews get pulled I wonder just leaving the good ones. Imho you can't trust anything on their site.”

“I've never even used them, but they won't stop spamming me. Literally spamming me. I never signed up for their emails; nevertheless, I get daily emails from different people. Blocking them and marking them as junk doesn't seem to work. Scam artists. I wouldn't give them a cent.”

“DONT BUY FROM THEM. OMG, Are these people for real. I purchased a mattress from groupon last thursday. I received an email from them telling me my item would be delivered on 18th April. They said they will call night before to give a time. I took a day off work so lost a days money. When I woke up this morning, I had another text saying they would now be delivering item on 24th April. I was furious and I called them. They were disgusting. There morals and customer service is gutter level. I got no explanation or apology but kept getting told to check the fine print! I had checked the fine print but besides them saying in fine print that items take 7 days to arrive, they emailed me with the different date. Also there 30% discount they offer is a scam. I bought 3 duvet sets and a mattress for 500£ and then they would not give me the discount at check out. Just appalling service all around. They did not offer me anything as a gesture of good will to make up for the days pay I have lost. I now also have to take another day of for delivery on 24th April. What do I do if they do the same then. Just shocking and quite rude people on their phones. DONT BUY FROM THEM.”

“Scottish boiler care carried out update of new boiler 10th April, they were prompt, professional, very competent, and I am extremely grateful to them. They had to uproot carpets and kitchen flooring to lay new wider pipes along with new boiler, I found them efficient, speedy and very courteous and I cannot praise them enough for their service”

“Lowell Group of Vermin ( debt collector) is using Trustpilot for its fake reviews ( reviews left by their staff, friends or people paid for that). Trustpilot doesn't delete the fake reviews, only these which doesn't please the scums from Lowell Financial - part of Lowell Vermin Group.”

“My suspicions CONFIRMED. Toto Energy WERE putting up fake reviews on TrustPilot and they TrustPilot did NOTHING about it until Martin Lewis's company MSE unearthed the fraud. Totos boss was caught encouraging his employees to leave fake reviews on TrustPilot via a WhatsApp group connected to HIS mobile. TrustPilot knew this was going on for months. Don't trust Toto or TrustPilot.”

“Trustpilot has policies which are beneficial to companies and so its feedbacks can't be accurate. If you search reviews of trustpilot on google, you will see trustpilot has got bad reviews. Maybe trustpilot gets benefit from companies.”

“I have found on the whole that trustpilot appears to have integrity however my experience of review.co.uk is not at all positive. I wrote a critical review following an email from them and when it was received they didn't even print it presumably because the company i used was paying them. I then wrote an email to review.co.uk directly for an explanation in december 2018 and none was given. I have written another email waiting for an explanation but i won't hold my breath. Assuming i get no response my conclusion is that review.co.uk is a top scam artist outfit - i wonder if this review will even be allowed?”

“This is not a bad review about Trustpilot, rather it is a review about the misleading way reviews are used by some companies. One of these companies has almost 100% 5 star reviews. A poor, but honest, review appeared on the site (honest because it mentioned some flaws in the service that I had also noticed) and this was flagged up and then removed. There are also reviews from managers and employees of the company. In addition, the names of people consistently appear in reviews. The reviews are always positive, but the reviews should be about a service, not a person surely. I just have no faith in the integrity of the reviews.”

“This company doesn't even deserve one star. I train dogs and I have sat with my clients over a cup of tea as they have written a five star review with the service I just given to them. I have done this with ten clients and today I got an email from trustpilot stating that they intend to remove these reviews. It will be interesting to see how trustpilot will respond to this negative review. They have my name and contact details I will keep everyone updated.”

“This company is pure GARBAGE!...........BEWARE try to sign up for their FREE service...you will be misled, and pressured to buy their 6k package! Then try to CANCEL...no way! They will put you through HELL and force you to pay if not then your account will go to collections. This Trustpilot company is NOT to be TRUSTED! They have sleazy sales tactics, and no experience what so ever in customer service. They also do not reply to you calls or messages.”

“"Trust"pilot, not so trusting. Have you ever heard Toto Energy? A disgusting small gas and electricity supply company with a dreadful customer service record and they take your money and don't give it back!! Well I made a very honest review for my grandparents via Trustpilot only for it to removed by them 'under their guidelines'. Lots of negative reviews have been deleted in this manner with tonnes of 5 star reviews that look fake as anything awash. Don't base your opinion on Trustpilot.”

“Trustpilot is a complete scam. Any company can PAY Trustpilot to remove negative reviews, which they will do and have done many times, even if you provide evidence to backup the review, they wills till remove it if that business is paying them to do so. However, If you are NOT paying trustpilot for their services, they will do nothing for you at all, even if you can prove a review is completely fake and defamatory. The owner of a company I left a review for then started posting malicious, defamatory posts and comments online about me, including FAKE reviews on Trustpilot. Even worse, he did not even write the fake review himself, he actually copied one of his own customer's negative reviews from his own facebook page and used that. I sent screenshots to trustpilot compliance, clealry showing where he had copied the text from and pointing out that this wasnlt a review, it was just a personal attack. But even with this indisputable evidence, trustpilot will not remove it, unless I pay them of course.”

“Really ticked off with trust pilot, all the power is with the company, there is one company that has removed any negative reviews and suddenly lots of positive fake ‘verified order’ reviews have appeared, all these ‘users’ have only made one review, yet when I’ve flagged this trust pilot ignore me. Trust pilot is flawed and claims you can be anon, but if a company takes down your review you have to provide all your details for it to go back up. Done with site.”

“Went to the trouble of writing a review only to have it removed by Trustpilot. Trustpilot are basically funded by large companies. When you write a review of one of these companies then they contact Trustpilot to have it removed, but only if it’s positive. The entire concept of Trustpilot is fundamentally flawed and unreliable as a source of independent opinion, as long as it keeps on taking monetary payment from large companies in return for positive reviews.”

“I put a review on trust pilot from a company that believes it is OK to make unsolicited phone calls, Proof was sent of them ringing me over and over again trying to sell me a phone contract. Trust pilot said this was not proof and removed my review. Asking me to sent them an order number. So on that basis they believe that it is ethical to receive telephone spam. Dreadful experience and does not inspire me to use there services ever again.”
