Joke of a platform. Trust Pilot gives a platform for people to blackmail companies. I received emails from a customer who despite having his product (no complaint regarding the product or delivery or service) just an email saying he will leave back review if he does not get a refund. Customer told to return item for a refund again we got an email saying he wants to refund before he returns it because the refund will pay for return postage, if we don't give a refund he will leave back feedback. Trust Pilot has allowed this one star review despite us showing the emails we've received. As soon as I contacted Trust Pilot I started receiving email from them about signing up to their paid platform starting at £150 per month which will enable us to "proactively respond to feedback"

I've informed about fake reviews on behalf of Spark Energy. Result - nothing happened.

It is a SCAM!!!!! I chose a driving school in London based on their good rating on Trustpilot. That school was terrible (booking the wrong test date, location, etc., and bad instructors), and the process of the refund took me more than 5 months. So when I attempted to rate the driving school 1 star on Trustpilot, it claimed my review is FAKE!!!! WTF. I have every proof, pictures and email records and they didn't accept my review. I was so angry and will never use this site for reference. Trustpilot must have made so much money by accepting fake good reviews and declining bad reviews posted by the companies listed on their website. Horrible experience.

I was censored & then banned for reporting Direct Line's deceitful & corrupt behaviour re. motor insurance & then calling out the lying spin of their customer services people who respond to the reviews. I now firmly believe that Trustpilot is in the pay of corporations. It's all one integrated big business scam network.

A company that doesn’t see the irony that in trying to write a review on a company, one ends up writing about them. Couldn’t login, tried their customer support line and told it will only support me via Email . Why have a support team over the phone? Person I spoke to was also patronising and sarcastic. So I’ve ended writing a review about them. Not fit for purpose.

What is the point of trust pilot? If they just remove any negative reviews that you make. Mine was removed because they alleged that I'd made accusatory, racist comments. This cannot be further from the truth. I gave an honest opinion on my experience with a certain retailer. To sum it all up, DONT Trust Pilot!!!! I'm looking forward to seeing what this review is removed for?

So disappointed with TrustPilot. I previously used them as a way to gauge the legitimacy of a product or company I was looking at. After being scammed by a company recently, I left a scathing review on TrustPilot (along with 500+ other people who were scammed) and the company started questioning the one star reviews stating we weren't "legitimate" customers. You had to provide trustpilot with proof that you were actually a customer. Then a whole bunch of 5 star ratings start hitting the pages from customers that hadn't even received the goods they'd ordered, which clearly equates to fake reviews from company personnel. Even with overwhelming evidence to the contrary, TrustPilot were allowing the fake reviews to stand. I'll never use them again.

It's obvious to me when you see the fake reviews so why not trust pilot.. Two clothes online shops have terrible reviews.. All the good reviews come from Pakistan and they give good reviews to the other badly rated one too. Surely if I can see there is no reason that people from Pakistan have a great experience whilst the rest are abysmal then why can't trust pilot

Trustpilot would not accept my genuine bad review of a gas company I called out in emergency because they said they could not accept thr revies without evidence. I provided the reference number of the job I booked in and date and time of call out. They still would not accept it. The gas company did not turn up and my review was bad. Therefore it’s likely other bad reviews are not included on the trustpilot rating system. They are excluding bad reviews and therefore making companies seem better than they are. I would not trust their rating system.

Noticed a number of bad reviews removed from the site, even whole companies gone. How can you Trust a review site when it sensors what you see? Obviously, money talks and companies have paid to be taken off or threatened them with legal action if not removed.

Did business with Web Direct Brands which runs various websites including Gatecrafters.com of Odessa FL. Product was a dud and service was worse. I posted a review through Trustpilot (the company that manages the reviews on the gatecrafters.com website) and they made me revise it because they said my title "Chinese Junk and not the Floating Kind" was offensive. Boo hoo, poor Chinese. Then they took it down and said I had to provide an invoice in PDF format. I dug up my invoice and scanned it and sent it to them. They rejected it because it was a .jpg and not a .pdf . Also they said it was not from the company because it did not say "Gatecrafters.com" on the invoice. The company invoices are in the name of Web Direct Brands which is the legal entity. So my conclusion is that Trustpilot is a hoax.

Don’t believe trustpilot, they have all negative reviews removed and adapt reviews for companies who pay for there service,in short it’s a scam and totally misleading for customers😡😡. In short ‘DO NOT TRUST TRUSTPILOT’. Bear in mind the company I left a negative review about, was a company I choose based on its positive reviews on trustpilot. which i now know the reviews were a sham just like trustpilot itself. They only support positive and fake reviews. A very biased and untrue company whose reviews should never be trusted.

Dont believe in Trust Pilot at all!!!!! The put on good reviews, remove others and adapt others to suit that of the companies that pay for their services. Come on ebay where have all my complaints gone, the good ones are still there, and then you have the nerve to ask me to give you a positive review. You know where to stick that one. Pity you dont ask for contact details on the ones that you put on for fake reviews. Dont worry this has gone to the Office of Fair Trading

Trustpilot is a joke and a total scam for companies to pay money to make them look good when in reality, the reviews are vetted and most times fake (even when they say "verified order" etc. One company in particular is Howard's Custom Transfers - This company is leaving itself raving reviews time and time again and strange how an out pouring of positive reviews come rolling in full force after a not so good one is left. DO NOT Trust "Trustpilot" anymore. It's a farce!

It's incredibly obvious that Trustpilot works with companies to remove bad reviews. They'll flag and block any negative 1-star reviews, before flooding their page with fake 5-star reviews. Eventually, if they ever unblock your genuine 1-star review, it'll be buried underneath all the new fake reviews. Con-artists.

Seemingly a very biased company who side with companies and remove negative review for almost any reason. I have had about three or four reviews removed after the defensive company asked trustpilot to remove them. It is amazing that without any evidence on the companies part, the reviewer is guilty until proven innocent and even then seemingly still never has a review reinstated. I decided to boycott the site completely both in reading and commenting. If you also take a look, you will see that some companies have two listings with trust pilot and one can be blinding reviews while the other terrible. How is it possible to have two listings for the same company and how is it possible when there are two that they can be so different from each other? My opinion is that this company is a sham in some respect and is clearly earning coin by supporting the company itself and positive reviews. I wouldn't trust a word that anyone posts there again and in fact the last two companies I used whom both messed me around were after reading great reviews via trustpilot when I think about it :(

It would seem there are a lot of false reviews for & on Trustpilot. I would suggest checking out very, very carefully before committing. I wish I had, for example, a ;local company seemed the business, did a bad job and when I tried to visit their 'premises' to personally complain, it turned out to be no more than a mailbox shop.
