Created a genuine review going into great detail about serious hazards to life, fire hazards, failings, lies etc that have been ignored by my housing association 'Clarion Housing' only to find it rapidly flagged and removed. No interest whatsoever in my ability to provide evidenceor proof of all this, they only care about appeasing the companies. Trustpilot is not to be trusted at all. A waste of time for anyone trying to post genuine reviews.

I wrote a negative review against a business that I purchased service from because their service was the most terrible one that I had never encounter. Trustpilot immediately removed my review and ignore my request to put it back up even after I provided evidence that I'm their customer. DO NOT TRUST THIS SITE. they earn money from the business so they don't post real reviews.

I used Trustpilot to get information on a company. The reviews there seemed great and I finally decided to use their services. Turned out their services were terrible and so I wrote my own review on Trustpilot. The first one got flagged and disappeared because the company themselves deemed it to use defamatory terms. So I rewrote another review trying to not do the same mistake and more soberly recounted my experience, just so the Trustpilot Compliance Team would then remove it because as they said: "we've been unable to verify the authenticity of it". But no one asked me before to verify the authenticity of my review. Also, I wrote almost a 2 page long, very detailed review of my experience, so this to me seems very strange as to why my review seemed disingenuous to them.

I did trust reviews to some extent on Trust pilot but after leaving a bad review for a company that I had problems with I was paid a lump sum to remove I only choose this company because of there outstanding reviews now I know why they pay customers to deleted bad reviews left

I placed a review about a local cafe which is incredibly expensive for certain menu items in comparison to other similar local establishments. It is even more expensive than the local ferry who actually give a larger portion including tea/coffee. The cafe complained to Trustpilot and stated they were a community based enterprise helping disabled and disadvantaged people get employment! Even more reason to charge sensible prices for their food as they are probably getting grants for employing staff and not paying living wages. My perfectly fair review was taken down because of factors which had nothing to do with over charging. If I want to give to charity I do so voluntarily and any other church or charity cafes I frequent are all reasonably priced. I was a top reviewer for trustpilot as I say it as I see it but after this farce I stopped and no longer use their services.

Hi, I must say that trust pilot has a biased review system where they only show reviews which are beneficial to them. In spite of submitting relevant paperwork, providing all supporting documentation to support my review in reference to XLN, they still decided to keep it offline. Please don't trust trustpilot reviews, as it's not a reliable source.

Asked Trustpilot to look at a company called Yourcarparts, who are an unbelievable bad company. Received an automated reply stating that I would get a response in a number of days, that was three weeks ago! They are now ignoring my emails. Don’t trust Trustpilot, they are as bad as all the other scamming sites. Just another online business fooling people into thinking they can trust their reviews.

Glad to see I'm not the only one that sees trustpilot for who they really are, I had a "poor review" about ilgm removed, they even say on their ilgm review "we've partnered with ilgm", Trustpilot is obviously bias with some of their reviews (make you wonder if they're getting freebies to removing bad reviews from some of the business's people write reviews about), They are indeed bias tho,

Full of fake five-star reviews for cowboy companies. Cannot be trusted and doesn't care at all about consumers.

As Wikipedia says: "Independent investigations have revealed that review websites such as Trustpilot have fake reviews on an almost industrial scale." As an example, look at reviews for ERG Facilities based in Southend, Essex, which featured on Rogue Traders. Read the 1 star reviews, then compare those genuine reviews to the 5 star reviews. Get the message?

I‘ve used Trustpilot quite a few times in the past, trusting they would give me a good idea with their rating about how trustworthy a company is. However, I‘ve seen that their reviews can not really be trusted. Go to their site and search for i-account. I-account is a banking platform which is downright fraudulent. Looking through the reviews from i-account on Trustpilot, you will find that without exception they are given one star only. Most comments inform you that this company is a fraud, steals money from their clients, and that one star really is too much for them, but unfortunately the minimum you can give on Trustpilot. Yet despite 100% bad reviews, Trustpilot rates i-account with 2 stars and an overall rating of 3,5 out of 10. An extremely questionable rating in my opinion. So better be careful next time you trust a Trustpilot rating.

I have just posted this on the Trustpilot site reviewing them under the title 'Shameful Business Model' . Let's see how long it stays there... Shameful business model. I have wasted one and a half working days because a bully has tried to intimidate one of my female staff by posting a review on Trustpilot.com. The bully refered to her directly and boasted that she would not return his calls. He failed to mention it was because he was harassing her and she felt threatened. I am in the process of reporting the bully to the Regulator because they run a company that provides care to vulnerable people. Trustpilot have taken down the post while they 'investigate' it and give him an opportunity to revise his comments. In the past a Trustpilot sales representative souught to encourage me to purchase a product titled 'Lite' that for £149.00 a month subscription would enable me to hide reviews like it on their site. Seems like a complete abuse of power and a imoral business model. Ticket number #2853190 if you are interested Trustpilot. But as i refuse to pay the £149 subscription i suspect you're not interested at all.

Tried to post a review of Yodel, who are by some margin the most incompetent “delivery “ company. Trust pilot would not let me post the review, kept saying there was inappropriate language (there was no bad language) this seemed to be because I had written Yodel were useless.
