Every time I'm writing a bad review, the owner of the product report the review to make it deleted and I've to give plenty of evidences to trust pilot. This is very harassing and make the reviews on trust pilot biased with artificial good reviews. Last time I had to give few evidences. What a hell?

For no apparent reason they took down my negative review. It was flagged so they say because I simply reported a company’s mishandling of my order. No inflammatory comments were made just a straight forward reporting. Many of their own reviews are complaining about the same thing and all are agreeing with the fact that they are working not for the consumer but for merchants. L Young

Absolutely disgusting wrote a review about a terrible experience I had with a company on there as at the time I was naive enough to think that’s what people done the company was a solicitor firm called wainwrightcummings just in case anyone has the misfortune of thinking of using them but either way cut a long story short and a terrible absolutely terrible experience with them wrote a review trustpilot asked for proof said they would remove it if not after some back and forth between them and I I gave them the documentation they said my review would then be verified and then to my surprise removed my review said it was fraudulent after literally confirming it was not complete fraud of a company clearly if the business at hand pays for their services then you can’t write a genuine review about them do not trust them

It's not right that they pester you for your personal details to be attached to a review and then threaten to remove your review if you don't provide this. Not everyone is comfortable with handing over personal identifiable information to the person you may be negatively reviewing so with this in mind trustpilot is not a true representation of what people really think about businesses etc and is likely providing a biased perspective of what a company/business is really like. Dear Karina, I am writing to express my deep-seated concerns about Trustpilot’s verification process, or rather the lack thereof, which poses serious reputational risks for businesses like AstroAgency UK. The current system permits any individual to create a business page and post reviews, without any substantial verification of their relationship with said business. This lax approach is antithetical to the core principle of ‘trust’ that your platform ostensibly aims to uphold. The absence of stringent verification measures makes Trustpilot a fertile ground for targeted harassment, false reviews, and reputational sabotage. This raises not only ethical questions but also exposes businesses to undue risks, thereby undermining the credibility of Trustpilot itself as a reliable review platform. I implore you to treat this matter with the gravity it deserves. Given the severity of the situation and its potential legal implications, I request that this issue be escalated to senior management for immediate attention and resolution. Your prompt action is not merely an expectation but an imperative. Failure to adequately address these issues will compel us to explore alternative remedies, including legal avenues. I await your urgent response. Sincerely,

Shocking company. Allows fake or outrageous claims from "customers" to force a company to refund them in return for removing their reviews. And as a company owner the only way to deal with these is to pay an extortionate monthly amount to own the page and flag suspicious reviews (which they then leave anyway). This is a sham company forcing companies to subscribe to their service and allows anyone to write anything they like. We even have a live review personally insulting a picture of one of our employees on our website and even then Trustpilot won't remove it - it should be illegal!

TRUSTPILOT.com is a TOTAL SCAM! This company produces fake reviews with Artificial Intelligence, in-house salespeople, and competitors. The reviews are NOT real, and the company will harass you into paying for a service that either eliminates the bad reviews OR outweighs the fake bad reviews by providing additional positive reviews. This company has ZERO integrity. DO NOT PAY FOR TRUSTPILOT SERVICES OR REVIEWS!!

Why trustpilot brings up fake reviews about Gmail, about mine. As Google and trustpilot work together. No one to contact Google. Report a problem does nothing. Previous email was receiving emails etc all was in dollars. Don't even live in America this is how unsafe Gmail is in the UK.

They are definitely corrupt. I left a one star review for Temu and they removed it and said they couldn’t verify it’s real. They didn’t take any steps to verify it is real! I’ve had my account for 5 years and left hundreds of reviews! It’s so disappointing they have allowed themselves to be compromised for back handlers cause it will eventually lead to them going out of business since they now have absolutely no credibility and can’t be trusted Also, don’t trust Temu! If Trustpilot are scamming their reviews then they must be really really bad! If they weren’t they wouldn’t need to scam!

Having experienced first-hand, issues with fake reviews, we reached out to our Trustpilot Account Manager (we have a paid account as a business) who not only said it's out of their hands, but then went on to flag dozens of genuine reviews from our clients as fake/fraudulent, and then remove them. This also resulted in our account being flagged as suspected of fake reviews. We provided all necessary evidence that they are our registered clients, and were ignored. A second anonymous Trustpilot employee spoke off the record about how their business is conducted, which was enlightening. This contact within TrustPilot informed us that it IS TrustPilot's company policy that once your account is flagged, your Account Manager IS instructed to cease communication with you, and not reply to any of your attempts to resolve the issue. Of course, there are multiple issues with this from an ethical point of view, as well as a lack of transparency to paying customers. Avoid at all costs. Trustpilot should be investigated and receive disciplinary action.

18 months ago I was almost scammed by an appliance repair company - CH Care, who pretended to be Homeserve. CH Care target the elderley and tell them they have existing cover and because no claims have been submitted, they can offer cover for all appliances at a reduced rate. Well into the converation I had with them I realised it was a scam, but by then had given my card details. I wrote a Trustpilot review which was immediately taken down. A couple of weeks ago I was contacted again, twice, by CH Care - same scam, and I put the phone down both times. On 16th August they took £162 out of my account saying I had a contract with them. I wrote another review on Trustpilot, which I totally verified. They have ALL my details, my phone number, my address and an image of the supposed contract showing the reference number. They are still querying my review and won't publish it. Going back to the 5 star reviews for CH Care. I found three duplicated reviews, written verbatim, for different people on different days. Lazy people paid to give 5 star reviews copied and pasted the same review. There's probably more but too intense for me to keep checking. Needless to say the reviews are 'verified'! Loads and loads of false 5 star reviews, from people that have only left one review, that all begin in a similar way: We have a Maytag washer; My Subzero Fridge stopped cooling; My Viking Oven was not working; I have a kitchenaid refrigerator;I have a True commercial refrigerator. And, for the second time: We have a Maytag washer. Trustpilot are verifying these obviously fake 5 star reviews!!! Granted there are only 11 Google reviews for CH Care, but their score is 1.4 stars. The Trustpilot score is 3.8 CH Care are criminals - scamming the elderly into taking out contracts and giving their bank details. Their reputation is being protected by Trustpilot because they're being paid to remove negative reviews and verify fakes. Thirty pieces of silver comes to mind. 18 months ago I was almost scammed by an appliance repair company - CH Care, who pretended to be Homeserve. Hi I am not happy with the service as we got two fake reviews and we have everything to prove that both the customer's have given absolutelt fake reviews but seems trustpilot not interested in knowing the other side of the story. I will report this and ask for an investigation as this is not just abput two wrong reviews but reviews from someone who does not exist as a customer with Be-Connect. We have no customer by the name of John Smith and also the 2nd review is fake and the actual account holder is still using the service and very happy with Be-Connect. I cannot let this go as this has to be removed. Seems Trustpilot is more of a threat to company rather than a platform to know the service level. It is not fair and reliable platform and I will prove this to ombudsman. Please do not remove this review as we are your existing cutomer. Thanks

Teustpilot is a scam. I ha e left many genuine reviews which have been taken down and called spam. Also any negative review can be challenged by the company and the writer only has 3 days to provide their personal emails to trustpilot in order for them not to remove it. Whereas what about all the fake positive reviews left by paid agents of the company, who has the opportunity to challenge these. Trustpilot is a scam and should be completely banned from operating.
