“There are bugs and improvments to be made. Overall I still suggest to get one. There needs to be engineers that reach out to find out about the issues that need to get removed before the next years model/upgrade. I would like to be able to control the charge of the battery via the app so I can charge it to 90% most of the time as I do not need full capacity. So when it is charging it would be nice to have it stop once it reaches 80% or 90%”
“i AM NOT RELLY HAPPY WITH UBCO CUSTOMER SERVICE. WHEN i FIRST GOT MY BIKE AND TRIED CONTACTING THEM, AFTER THE FIRST FEW TIME, THEY JUST IGNORED ME. NOT GOOD!”
Hello Lowell. At UBCO we aim to reply to all queries, and we monitor most of our input channels daily. Can you please let me know what channel you are using when contacting us so I can investigate why we are letting you down? If it's an email what is the address you are using? If it's by telephone, what number are you calling? Regards UBCO Support.
“Would not buy anything from UBCO again. They don’t honor their 30 day guarantee. The page specifically said it doesn’t apply to PayTomorrow which I didn’t use yet they still refused it. I don’t plan on buying anything from UBCO in the future.”
Hello Broderick. Thank you for your feedback and I would like to help if I can. To my knowledge we don't offer a 30-day guarantee (we do offer a 12-month warranty) and I am not familiar with Pay Tomorrow. Can you please help me understand where you are seeing these references so that I may investigate further and hopefully we can improve our services for you. Regards UBCO Support.
“Great bike
Only comment is make the tires stronger/ foam filled not tubes
Rowdy can’t be the only one to answer support emails
Need more people to answer with in 24 hours”
“Usually in this day and time you can’t really get the help you need. You often are talking to some call center that has no idea of the product they’re supporting, language barriers, push you to take it to a dealer which is just a way to make the dealer more money, or once the product is purchased they don’t really care! I’ve had to call UBCO on three different occasions: Twice just to order some things I wanted. Once to troubleshoot an issue. I spoke with a Clayton and I’ve got to say that he’s on point. The service provided couldn’t have been any better. I wish other companies withheld the same standards of service.”
“UBCO personell are great to deal with, and their products are unmatched by any other company. I just bought my 2nd bike. I wouldn't have any else at the same price. They back up their products like no other company I've dealt with, ever. 5 star recommended without a doubt!”
“CLAYTON WILLIAMSON UBCO TECH IS A VALUABLE ASSET TO UBCO VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND EXTREMELY HELPFUL. HE PINPOINTED THE TROUBLE I WAS HAVING AND HELP ME ALL THE WAY AND MADE SURE ALL WAS TICKETY BOO.”
“This cycle and the UBCO company are truly in a class of their own. This cycle meets all of the criteria for what I was looking for and no others did. I’m an old guy and recovering cancer patient that wanted some help getting around the high mountains of Utah. This cycle exceeds my expectations. UBCO US was wonderful to work with. The sales folks are kind, considerate, and responsive. I was amazed when the bike was delivered. UBCO packaging is like nothing I’ve seen before. Every aspect of the product, marketing, shipping, packaging, and customer service are exceptional. The cycle is a tank but nimble and light. Thank you UBCO for a few more adventures.”
“Love the idea of the UBCO, less impressed with the buying experience and service here in the US. I work for a small environmental consulting firm and we bought a 2x2 to use for field surveys in remote areas. The fact that it is rugged, quiet, and can carry lots of gear was very appealing. Upon delivery, however, we immediately noticed that it had one critical flaw - no USB charging port. UBCO advertised an add-on accessory (it's even shown in the operator's manual) that would attach to the top of the battery and allow the bike to not only charge devices on the go but also act as a mobile power station when the battery was out of the bike. Awesome idea and we were keen to buy one but, as far as I know, it never materialized. I inquired about this accessory with customer support but never recieved a response and it's still not available for purchase on the website. This seemingly small oversight has big ramifications for the utility of the 2x2 for commercial use or even serious recrational use. After getting no response from UBCO we decided to buy two Surrons instead, which are cheaper, have good aftermarket support, and, best of all, come with a simple USB port. We love the 2x2 but the lack of any way to charge anything off of it was a deal breaker. So instead of buying three 2x2s, we bought only one.”
Hi Michael and thank you for your valued feedback.
We have had a lot of feedback from our valued customers that they would like a 12v power supply. This has been passed on to our product development and engineering team and they are looking at options to add this feature to the next generation UBCO and make it reverse compatible for Gen5 UBCO.
Kind regards UBCO Support
