“They first charged and then called and increased the price by £250. I cancelled the policy and am waiting for a refund for nearly 3 weeks now. No communication whatsoever.”

“They charged me the fee, then called me to say that the cover would cost £250 more and when I cancelled, they have not paid money back. It is now 3 weeks since and while they say that processing might take a few days, I have always had a refund in my account in 10 days. But not ucoverdrive”

“The worse customer service I have ever experienced! Sales and Customer Service team have continuously lied to me and I have never received my refund! It has been a month now and I still have not received my refund! Avoid U Drive Cover at all cost! Do not waste your time, money and energy! There are much better insurance companies out there that will respect you and treat you as a customer!”

“Staff are rude use foul language and forcing people to accept insurance. Ask them to amend my quation. They dont listen . Pressuring me to accept a insurance without my consent . . terrible terrible insurance company”

“Avoid ! Most insurance companies are helping people through the pandemic. I had one month to pay off my 12 months insurance. I understand you had to cancel my insurance due to having no money to pay for my insurance’ although you didn’t have to slap me with a £500 cancellation fee which is more than my insurance. Avoid !!”

“Taken my money cancelled my insurance it has been 2 months now still no refund and having problems with them still! Staff are rude use foul language and fee that it is appropriate to just end calls whenever they want ... terrible terrible insurance company”

“If I could give less than 1 star I would! Avoid this company at all costs, Taken money for a deposit for insurance to then two days later to tell me they cant insure me after already driving my car. Now they have had my money for 2 weeks and not refunding it telling me its going to be at least another week until I get an email in regards to the refund!!”

“Took out £394 from my bank for a car payment that I had ALREADY CANCELLED two weeks before. When I called to get my money back, the manager said it would be in my bank within 4 days. Called a week later when it wasn’t in, an employee said that they couldn’t refund me because it was a direct debit and there’s no way for them to refund it! Their supervisor refused to come to the phone! Absolutely disgusting service, never going to use them ever again. Scam scam scam.”

“AVOID BY ALL COST! Quoted cheaper online and then having to pay extra £150 to my monthly because I failed their verification checks. The requirements were information such as my home address etc. How does one fail this? Confused? When questioned they said they would call me again and get back to me. Also, they delay in contacting you within the ‘cooling off period’ and then trap you with more added to your premium and then if you want to cancel. I’ve had to pay £359 to leave. You don’t have no choice. For someone who just needs a car for his family and children. I’ve now spend under £800 with these guys and its all a scam. Customer service are not helpful at all and get confused when their points are challenged. AVOID! Avoid! AVOID!”
