“After 4 weeks of sending multiple emails and trying to contact by phone (for many hours without success) I am still waiting for confirmation that my cover is in place. This is despite having paid in full on the day of proposal over a month ago. God help anyone if they ever need to make a claim.”

“The worst car insurance ever because they took my money first and did not even insure me so I cancelled it and then after I cancelled they said there is a £75 cancellation fee. I have never seen an insurance like this in my 12 years of driving and still my money has not returned because they said it takes 30 days to refund the money back what they do is once you join they basically push you to leave them because even if you leave them they still get £75.They are scammers you shouldn't join them they're dodgy scammers.”

“U drive is the worst insurance company. Staff is so rude and they don't bother of they customer's. They just take your money I just cancelled my insurance within 5 months any they charged me 70 percent of my money plus 75 pounds for cancellation and 30 percent of my money will be refunded to me that is also after 30 days. This is the worst ever company I saw. I recomend Not to go with is U Drive insurance company. 👎👎👎”

“I needed a car insurance and GoCompare recommended U Drive as well. I entered the requested information and paid. Next morning I received an email asking for very sensitive data, that should never be sent via email! Twenty hours later after our first online "contact", I called their unfriendly customer service. I wanted to ask for my money back, for a not-yet-contracted / incomplet car insurance policy that will take effect in three weeks, but of course they cheated me with some money - because that's what they make a living from. I feel robbed! Just avoid U Drive Cover!”

“WARNING! The worst car insurance company I have dealt with in 27yrs of driving. It feels like a SCAM! Their customer service is so bad and the process designed to trip you up - it felt like they were wanting you to cancel. The £75 cancellation fee maybe how they earn their money, it's certainly not from providing a good service.”

“If there was a mark lower than 1 star I would have selected that. Dishonest company - as lots of customers have said below they fabricate additional charges to inflate the insurance premium. Avoid!”

“Absolutes scam, they give you a really good price for insurance then take a deposit of £126 to then tell you the policy is not valid and you’d need a massively over priced one, mine went from £700 a year to £1700 a year, obviously I didn’t want the extortionate insurance to be told my deposit is non refundable. This is a horrible scam In a time when people are struggling for money, absolute shame on you u drive”

“You keep sending me emails asking for the same thing time after time. I reply to your emails with the correct information but still you keep asking !!!! It's getting a bit annoying now so please just give me the correct insurance cover or a complete refund !!!”

“I selected U Drive Cover from other options available even though they weren't the most budget-friendly option, primarily because their online payment option seemed convenient for immediate coverage. However, my experience was far from smooth. Despite making my payment online, I received an email instructing me to call them to activate my cover. This was followed by numerous hours spent on the phone, only to be informed that activating my cover would incur a £75 charge. Moreover, obtaining a refund would take up to 30 days. Unfortunately, this experience has led me to believe that the company is not trustworthy. I would strongly advise considering other options.”

“Shaun is a member that speaks very rudely to his customers. No people skills whatsoever. It was unfortunate that I had him pick up my call as he is utterly rude and needs to be sanctioned for his lack of care and understanding of customers.”

“This is the worst company I have every had encounterred in my life they want everything apart from my Blood Group just to cover car insurance. Customer service is non existant they dont talk they shout and dont listen. Im not exactly computer savvy - why the hell do they need my NI number I am 70 and retired are they selling it to an asylum seeker ??? I dont give that information out.”

“Emailed ,to inform I was getting a different car wanted the insurance to start next day. I did inform the caller I was in turkey,after 11 minutes on the phone and repeatedly saying it was a bad line he sayed needed payment,sat at pool with no card what a waste of time”
