“(FRAUD) Stay away these U drive cover brokers They are not insurance company they are just brokers. They charge us without our knowledge £448 extra in our policy total charging £2470 a year. and when we cal them and asking to cancel our policy within cooling off period they charge us more than £200. Unprofessional and lying to customers so pls stay away Thanks”

“*** WARNING *** DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE AN INSURANCE BROKER ONLY. I ONLY FOUND THIS OUT AFTER I HAD PAID THEM A DEPOSIT. I USED A PRICE COMPARISON SITE AND U DRIVE COVER CAME UP THE CHEAPEST, SO I WENT AHEAD WITH THE QUOTE AND PAID THE DEPOSIT (I OPTED TO PAY MONTHLY). I RECEIVED AN EMAIL ASKING ME TO CONTACT THEM TO VERIFY THAT ALL THE DETAILS I HAD SUBMITTED WERE CORRECT, WHICH I DONE. LATER THE SAME DAY, I GOT A CALL FROM U DRIVE COVER SAYING THAT MY EXCESS WOULD NOW BE £650.00 INSTEAD OF THE £350.00 THAT I HAD AGREED TO. I SAID I WASN'T HAPPY WITH THAT, THE ADVISER SAID HE WOULD TRY TO SEE WHAT HE COULD DO, WHEN HE CALLED BACK THE BEST HE COULD DO WAS 550, TO WHICH I DECLINED (THE WHOLE INSURANCE WAS ONLY £830.00). I ASKED FOR MY MONEY BACK AND SAID I WOULD LOOK ELSEWHERE. I WAS TOLD ON MONDAY 11TH FEB THAT THE REFUND HAS BEEN PROCESSED AND I SHOULD GET IT BACK IN 3-5 DAYS. FAST FORWARD TO 21ST FEB, I AM STILL WAITING FOR MY REFUND! MY ADVICE WOULD BE STAY AWAY FROM U DRIVE COVER AND STICK WITH KNOWN NAMES OR MAKE SURE YOU ARE ACTUALLY DEALING WITH AN INSURER AND NOT A BROKER.”

“Very Poor Customer Service including initial sales call. Made an exception with the sales call assuming it was an individual having a bad day. However subsequent verbal correspondence with after sales team was a similar experience. Rude, insulting and just generally unwilling to help. I paid a significant amount to cancel after 14 day period but was a price worth paying to avoid having deal with them in the unfortunate event of having to make a claim. I paid to leave, that's how bad they were. Would strongly advise to avoid.”

“Absolute waste of time. Quoted a price online & when I went to buy it said you must phone them. Dodgy! After the worst customer service you can Imagine, waited 25 hours & still never came back to I got an email stating the price was DOUBLE what they had quoted. I waisted over a day with what can only be described as a disreputable company. If you have a claim with this shower good luck to you.”

“Renewing has been a night mare. You have renewed my old car that is sorn and has been for over a year. And the car I have been insured with u drive for a year and was meant to of just renewed has now been seized for no insurance. So thanks u drive. Can’t see my daughter over Xmas now cheers merry Xmas”

“I purchased car insurance with Udrive I paid 300 pound deposit 20 days from when this was paid they cancelled my car insurance and sent a 450 pound debt to debt recovery all because I work 13 hours a day and did not have time to send my proof of no claims I currently have 3 different insurances for different vehicles and have had no problems with any other insurance company Udrive are a scam they will cancel your insurance then charge you for the full years cover even tho they cancelled it after receiving everything they asked for apart from the one thing they can see online right in front of there eyes please be careful insuring with UDRIVE you will end up been ripped off stressed and in debt this is by far the worst company you can insure your car with I now need time off work and extra costs for my solicitor to sort this issue out for me”

“I had an agreed price that i had already paid and then received a phone call saying it was an additional £300 added on to my policy for a question that wasnt asked before i payed. disgraceful. I'll be going back to Hastings direct even if it ends up costing a little more.”

“Absoloute garbage! Quoted a price, when purchased tried to increase... tried to tell me my car is not parked on a private driveway but in a carpark! I live in a detached house with private drive and garage but according to these thats a car park!! Now have to wait for refund on deposit! DO NOT USE!!”

“Was given a quotation and acceptance for total access charges for £300, however when we have received certificate in email total access is£700, asked to emails me phone call recording numerous times but nothing has been sent yet.”
