“The staff is very incompetent because I called many times, I send the documents to prove identity to explain I sent them by email and still received that they are canceling our insurance, had to call every day.”

“Staff are very rude. Cancelled my insurance and I had to pay cancellation fee and I hadn’t had the insurance for a day. Payed 360 up front, was told on the phone 3-4 days for refund, email said 15 days and after I sent an email to the company myself was told it can take up to 30 days. Absolute joke of a company and extortionate prices”

“This lot are crooks. I will be alerting the Financial Ombudsmen to their activities, writing to my MP and posting on social media sites. These are brokers who underwrite insurance policies with Close Brothers who are under investigation for defrauding people with loans on cars going back over a decade. They position themselves as cheap but then take cash BEFORE telling you that premiums will be higher and you owe a cancellation fee if you back out. The APR is EXTORTIONATE and the service is dreadful. The 5 star posts I assume are fake but I cannot be sure of that. They CLEARLY target Trustpilot and I will point out to the Ombudsmen that the reviews on TP are MUCH higher than Google and by a long way. 1.5/5 versus 3.5. This stinks of fake profile posting and will suggest they investigate accordingly. You will see masses of 1 star reviews. The insurance aggregators need to be held accountable to positioning these as no.1 choice. Do not go near them!! Also if you do fall fowl of this ask for a Freedom of Information request which they must legally honour. Careful inspection of all internal comms will no doubt show some misalignment between data collection and privacy law and their practice. They are total cowboys.”

“Came in with a cheap price on quotezone. no idea they were a broker. After paying a 350 deposit called 2 days later to say the premium would be going up then called a week later to say my details were entered incorrectly and I would need to pay 1000 or my policy would be cancelled. Received 75pounds refund from 350 deposit but still not received the refund 3 weeks later... AVOID SCAMMERS”

“U drive is a broker over charged now I am paying half the price with more benefits,they cancelled the policy because they wanted a copy of partners license which she lost and is waiting for the new one coming plus something else they wanted to prove our driving were both 64 and now they want a large some of money because they cancelled GET AND DO ONE YOU WILL GET NOTHING YOU THEIVES. AVOID AVOID AVOID.THEY ARE BROKERS BUT PORTRAY THEMSELVES AS INSURERS.”

“Terrible Experience – Avoid at All Costs! I had a terrible experience with Diver Cover Ltd. They pose as an insurance company offering cheap quotes, but in reality, they are just brokers. They lure you in with low prices, then after taking your money, they contact you for “validation” and claim to have found a non-fault incident – a claim I was completely unaware of! Despite this being a situation where I did not file any claim, they used it as an excuse to hike my premium by 20%, even though my policy hasn’t even started yet (due to start next week). When I asked to cancel the policy during the cooling-off period, they refused to refund my deposit, claiming it was an administration fee. This is nothing short of a scam! Their customer service is unhelpful, and they hide behind shady tactics to squeeze more money from you before your policy even begins. I highly advise against purchasing from them on sites like Confused.com or MoneySuperMarket. They are not insurers but brokers, and the whole process feels like a trap. Be cautious and save yourself the trouble – do not fall for their low initial quotes! Thank you.”

“AVOID. Absolute shambles of a company they gave me a quote and then it was completely different when I set it up and only offered 3rd party. When my car was stolen they wanted 1770 pound off me to cancel. Don’t waste your time on these frauds.”

“Would not recommend, the amount of hidden cost is ridiculous. The quote thats online goes up once you actually look in to joining with them, then once thats gone up, 2 weeks later, after your policy has started there asking for another £200 that was not listed anywhere in your policy or on any documents. £500 extra I've now paid from the agreed policy. This company has so many hidden cost”
