I had brought a microwave in October. Come March, I heated up my lunch with the plate in the machine for 30 seconds, before the ring caught fire. Contacted the company who told me you cant reheat. Lady on the phone was the rudest women and clearly shouldn't work in customer service. Never buying a Russell Hobbs product again!

Gas/electric stove give problem. Oven doesn't heat up. Nothing rong with elements. One gas burner not working. The moment you let go of the button switch the flame goes off.

Absolutely appalling customer service. Toaster failed after 4 months. Russell Hobbs Initially refused to engage, instructing me to deal with Amazon, who sent me back to RH. Eventually, RH agreed to send replacement. However, they sent the wrong model and colour despite be sending photos and model number. They then refused to send me a correct replacement until I’d returned the incorrectly sent replacement. They sent a ‘prepaid’ UPS return label and I returned the incorrect toaster. They then sent the right toaster, but UPS billed me for the return service which RH then refused to reimburse. This process took 8 weeks. Just unbelievable.

Wish I could give no stars customer service is none existent!’ Had my iron 14 months there is power to the iron but is not heating up. I’ve sent 8 emails over 2 week period not one response. I called them after holding for best part of 1 hour I was told I would have to wait for a response as they were catching up from the holiday period I asked what holiday they replied Christmas???? The iron cost £60 so was not cheap I now have no choice but to purchase a new one as this is causing me too much stress in chasing these people for them to my even send an acknowledgment it’s not worth it!!! I will most definitely steer clear of Russell Hobbs in the future. I don’t understand why they offer 3 year warranty get you to register and then have no intention of honouring it I suppose you live and learn. A big thumbs down to Russell Hobbs awful people

Two Russell Hobbs kettles, different models, both developed a similar fault within two years. Boil switch fails to stay on. Would not recommend this brand.

Our kettle lasted just over the 2yr warranty. But I had piece of mind because I had signed up for the extend 12month warranty. So When the lid stopped opening I made contact with customer service. After me sending the requested details and videos contact from them stopped. I believe they realised that the kettle was not repairable but would have to be fully replaced and that was not going to happen. Customer service said their aim is to look after customers. What a load of Bulls**t if you’ve had a similar experience please respond.

Registered a Buckingham coffee machine with Russell Hobbs valid til 2025, after a year glass jug cracked whilst coffee was brewing, got the third degree from Russell Hobbs team, was promised a new jug after a lot of hassle. But from the 20th December 23 to today 02/01/24, said jug has never arrived, the registration is not worth the phone call or the paper it's written on, Disgusted user Southend on sea Essex

i have bought more than four appliances from Russel Hpbbs thinking they are of quality because of the expensive prize and they all have irreparable faults within a year. i currently have a Russel hobbs double door frisge that i bought two years ago and it stopped working beginning of december 2023, its irreparable, im soooo frustrated thinking of the money i spent buying this fridge and i now have to buy another one. i would definately like to be refunded. Russel Hobbs is a Scam

Tried to purchase a spare part for our kettle today (which has not given good service) and anyone would think I was trying to get it for free. I was met with a barrage of interrogation, and demands for videos, pictures and receipts, so I gave up, and will consign our expensive piece of rubbish to the bin where it belongs. If you do purchase any of this company's products, do not expect any after sales care, because there is none.

Had the worst experience of customer service ever. Totally unacceptable and poor customer service from Russell Hobbs! Our iron is faulty after 18 months. Not heating up properly and cutting out and losing temperature completely at times. Now has water leaking from bottom of the iron and a burning smell of plastic present when the iron is switched on. Explained all this by sending 6 emails, proof of purchase and pictures of the iron plus warranty details but told that was not enough and if I can't provide a video of the low temperature and smell then they can't honour the warranty!!! They asked me to plug it in again and video what was happening! What about safety?? Its a faulty iron thats about to go BANG!!! A video of what?? A burning smell and an iron that shows lights on but doesn't heat up!! Then told I'd need to pay for an independent inspection of the iron and then send back to them all at my own cost. The iron only cost £24.99. Never had such poor customer service anywhere else. They offer a 2 year warranty and an additional year so 3 in total but don't want to know when a fault develops and it cannot be video'd. They obviously have no intention of adhering to their guarantee. I will never have faith in their warranty, products and customer service again. Never been so angry just like the last post. Email after email and messed about completely. I won't be giving up either and i am in the process of taking this further.

Two kettles failed within warranty. Customer service is abysmal at best and you have to repeat yourselves to get any communication. Russell Hobbs need to start respecting customers and generate a concept of customer care. It is not as though they have little reason to generate an acceptable level of care to customers of which without them they have no company. Suggest their CEO looks at Trustpilot and 76% one star ratings as 3 out of 4 customers have bad experiences with repeated issues. Lessons learned appears beyond this company. If so as a customer suggest speak to Trading Standards and or Consumer Advice agencies when, and not if, you have issues with Russell Hobbs.

One of the worst customer service I have ever faced. I bought a rice cooker from them that comes with 2-year warranty. After 1 year, I got a problem with it. But when i tried to reach out to them, there is no respond from them. I reported my problem on March 2022 nov its december still my problem is not resolved. Guys, please dont trust their product they will say 2 year gurantee to make people to believe and purchase, but post purchase there is no proper support.

My microwave isn't old but it's already gone rusty under the glass plate. I've never had a microwave do this but as the ring underneath is brown, didn't realise. I have photos of it. It's disgusting that it's gone like this, especially as I always clean away any moisture after use.

Russel Hobbs must be one of the most useless "brands" around. 2 blenders in, within their warranty period, on the blink. Phone the "head office" to which i was placed on hold, until eternity. Blenders are weak, useless and truly do not hold up to the "hype" of the brand. The inconvenience of buying a, so called "good brand" only to be let down by the "brand" itself, not once, but twice! Service, is laughable and pathetic. As the saying goes: Good riddance to bad rubbish!!

Non existent customer service if there are any problems or anything goes wrong. I've had a terrible time with them and wasted hours and hours. Virtually impossible to contact by telephone and even if you succeed they will probably ask you to send an email - sent several but they do not answer them. Have a look what other people say about them on Trust Pilot too. I've NEVER come across such awful customer service and heard of so many faulty goods from one company.

Bought my classic kettle only 6 months ago, very disappointed that the glass cracked around the lid and exploded sending glass flying and cutting my hand. Very dangerous.

An issue with my kettle (21270) which had a three year guarantee as I registered online. Spoke to customer services who agreed to replace.....it was with me before breakfast the following day. Five star customer service.
