“Dreadful can't handle customer services I've been trying to pay for my energy since moving in in March 22 No one has managed to sort problem with numerous calls,no response to letters even with recorded delivery ask to email certain member of staff no reply.This company is hopeless customer service the worse I've encountered.My advice not to use them”
“Everything, smart meter was installed but instead of a credit meter (d/d) I had a prepayment installed, I was told I still had to pay the full amount of direct debit and top up!! I couldn't top up the prepayment meter as I didn't have the card number, complained and the customer service person put me through to the payment and I topped up £50 and it's disappeared... I have spoken with every department as they pass the buck, over the last couple of months I have spent around 4 hours a week on the phone and I still haven't got my money back, been to ofgem and they put me through to utilita again, if I owed them money I would have a judgement against me by now, total disgrace how this company works and treats their customers.. I wish I could swap energy company but it's not advised due to the prices 😕 a complete joke”

“Scam of a company keeping sending me bills for nearly 800 pound spoke to them many of times I have pay as you go meters that I have to top up key and card for to have gas and electric when I confronted them they said it was a mistake and they'd sort it a few weeks later I have another bill for the same amount threatening to go to court and put pay as you go meters in (which I already have absolute morons good luck to who ever answers my call sick of them avoid!!!”

“Absolutely awful company. I have had problems with them for a couple of years now but the last 6 months has gotten insane. They keep asking for proof of identity to which I have provided on many occasions only to he told its back in the Original owner of the property's name. How on earth this keeps happening is beyond me and now the debt owed is mounting up due to them not being able to correctly update their systems and take payment from me. I am just running round in circles. The last thing I need/want is debt or the stress and anxiety this is bringing. Also have sent me (in original owners name) a bill for the past 2 months of £1200. I live with a 4 year old in a small property and work 5 days a week, their is NO plausible way my bill would be 1200 for 2 months. They can shove it....”
“Being overcharged. Switched to a credit account at a day rate only from prepayment E7 tariff. But after 2 months they are still charging me for a day rate and a night rate at same time overnight. Can never get hold of them and it’s at least an hour to get through to them at best”

Have received no bill at home address or via email. Has been nearly 7 months now since my first first contact with Utilita.
It is not in my interests not to pay a bill. Nor am I so ‘sad’ that I like spending so much time (hours and hours) wasting on this matter, on what should be a basic thing for Utilita to sort out.
I’ve emailed two Utilita staff, directly at Utilita email addresses, after they ‘reached out’ assuring me matters would be / had been sorted. Guess what? You guessed right; not now even a courtesy reply from them to acknowledge my emails, for this on going saga.
If you have the option to avoid Utilita, then I would urge you to do
Received only and first written communication from Utilita recently. No bill, but a notification of intent to take action to recover debt (alleged!)
