It all 'sounds great, get all your bills under 1 roof, it'll be cheaper'. This is the worse service I have ever experienced. I have had no end of trouble with supplying meter readings bang on the end of the month, and a lot of misinformation. It literally depends on who you talk to (always email) which will be different every time you ask for clarification or guidance (I have emails for proof), and differing advice! Utilities Wearhouse will never accept fault, they never set up a call so it's always a horribly long-winded and unpleasant experience. My all-singing, all-dancing smart meter has not working properly but they only tell me 3 months in without an explanation and no one will answer my questions regarding this. I do NOT recommend them. Wish me luck with my current string of emails... The options below, rather conveniently, only give 6-12 hours or over a week. I have been waiting longer than a day before my smart meter. And bear in mind when they do reply they either do not understand your plain English question or, ignore it completely and simply send you their demands. Frustrating as hell.

As seen on previous reviews here if they have a problem their end with billing no one can solve the issue and despite emailing and agreeing my bill is incorrect they took nearly £1000.00. From my account and now its a 6 to 8 week wait for billing to resolve the issue, what sort of service is that ? On top if this I've been lied to several times and have the emails to prove, it's the usual thing they are too big to care about you once you've signed up. Avoid at all costs

Absolutely brilliant company. I saved nearly £1000 off my annual bill from previous supplier. The help centre call number is answered quickly by really nice people in the uk 🇬🇧 Couldn't rate them highly enough

UTILITY WAREHOUSE are one of the most fraudulent companies in the UK and India which is where all their UK income is shipped into a blind Trust. They will never pay you back for power you have not used. We closed a retail shop almost a year ago and they tried the guess your usage scam and took the funds from our account. Currently they owe us 4800 plus double compoensation and dispite wasting another 678 pounds on phone calls and their constant promises to repay we still have receive nothing. Now we will file for fraud and sue them publicly after we have a long discussion with the newspapers complete with meter readings, every email and transcripts of phone calls. Anybody else wanting to file with us as a group please contact us.

Avoid utility warehouse!! Following a talk with two representatives and not signing up for any services with them they did a hard credit search on me! This resulted in my credit score going down 45 points!! After communicating with customer service I was told that I had agreed to this. At no point was I told that a credit search would be conducted!! Still unresolved and I’m furious

Do not give them your Bank details! They will get monies out from your Bank. It is a pain cancelling. Takes a lot of your time getting them off your back. I would not recommend them to anyone. Caused me misery.

Horrendous utility company had to make a complaint to the energy ombudsman's office been 3 months trying to get a refund paid back. Glad I left this provider wont be returning and Don't recommend them . Don't keep credit on your account its difficult to get it back out of their grubby little hands.

Be warned- an absolutely horrendous scam company- unprofessional won’t tell you charges - made up early leaving charges and then each person who answers phone will lie to you- never received an email as to how much they were going to charge and then suddenly send a bill for £256 for leaving early after 2 months leaving them- charging more for energy bill when I’ve paid it - it’s the worst company I have ever had to deal with - which have put them at 4th position - I have lost trusting which for which companies to go for. The partners sell products lie and there’s no record this - they are scammers.

Signed up to a fixed term contract which was cancelled by Utilities Warehouse after a few months. Have several different reasons as to why they did this and my payments have doubled. No one responding to emails and complaints and customer services unable to help. DO NOT USE this company

Firstly I had a bundle account. With broadband and energy. We moved house and they upped the energy prices, even though we had a fixed rate at the old house. Then they billed me for months for broadband that wasn’t connected. Argued with me for months it was working, till and engineer attended finally and said it’s not connected at all. Weeks and weeks of my time sorting this. Then I asked for smart meters. Electric one went in. Gas still waiting months later. In the meantime the have APPARENTLY!!!! Not received any of my meter readings including the one that is now showing on my bill. And have slapped an extra £900 on top of my already £384 monthly bill. So this month I have to pay £1305. Nice, not that it’s not a struggle as it is at the moment. What makes it worse is they have offered £20 compensation for it taking months to fit the smart meter and just keep replying with condescending, patronising emails about not being flush enough to pay my bill. It’s disgusting, I’ll be paying this off and going elsewhere. I moved to them from Octopus who I had no issue, I just liked the UW rep at a networking event. Wish I’d gone with my gut and stayed with Octopus now. I’d at least still be able to eat for the month.

Customer service is s joke. They promise to call you back and it never happens. Only been with this company 5 months and have been very disappointed. I phone every week to try and get our problem resolved. I’m either promised a call back or get cut off after being put on hold. Emails don’t get answered. Absolute waste of time.

Told a month to change meter to smart meter been 6 weeks then just been told could be another 6 weeks and if I go somewhere else can be charged for changing such a badly run company know one seems to know what’s going on or how to sort it made complaint no one got back to me
