Hi brought a van from vans direct looked in great condition took it home 2 weeks later washed the van then on 2 doors it had massive indents on 2 doors so not happy. It must of been well hidden when we bought the van which they didn't point out to us when asking about the bodywork condition etc the company itself seems fine but the damage to the doors we should of been told as we would not of bought the van its not just a couple of indents its massive amounts I expect a few with a van 4 years old but not loads all over the doors .

The delivery guy took 6 hours to get here so was 2 hours late didn’t think much of it till next morning noticed 2 flat tyres with screw in from the same ones used for ply lining Had to buy 1 new tyre and have 1 puncture repaired Can I get reimbursed for these

We understand that your vehicle was delivered back on 26th March and we do not appear to have had any report of the issues reported at that time you took delivery. 1. Was assured by salesman that van would be with me by a certain date so I paid a deposit. Subsequently realised by speaking to another department that van would never be with me by the date promised by the salesman. 2. Depending who you spoke to I got different delivery dates even from staff within the same department. 3. When van was finally delivered it had a defect which the delivery driver would have been aware of but he failed to mention it to me. When driving the van round right hand bends or roundabouts a metal on metal grinding noise could be heard.

Had to chase for finance documents as they were sent to the wrong email address. Had to chase for delivery adte. Took too long again from start to finish - actually still not had delivery yet. Was told it would take a week - we're now on day 21.

The van I bought as new was in fact pre-registered so in fact it was not new I would have liked to have known before the V5 arrived in the post! Having said that it only had delivery miles on the clock. Vans directs invoice did state new which it should not have done other than that it was a very easy transaction.

Due to the length of time getting the vehicle after the time we were told it would be delivered we lost the sale of our old van which we still have will not be using vans direct for our next purchase

After buying the van was told they could not deliver before Christmas then was told I can't pick it up so had to wait two weeks then it turned up in afternoon while raining had look over van then put it on drive came out in morning to put seat covers on found little dent in passengers door phoned and sent email with picture to vans direct was told they could not do anything about it as I had sign for delivery so customer service there isn't any ?

This my review of my experience during my transaction with Vandsdirect. On the initial the sales person was very helpful as you would expect sales man to be, he requested a deposit to be paid, which I would say is normal practice. The transaction was then transferred another team, which seemed a bit strange to me as I've purchased vehicle before and the sales person stayed with the sale from start to finish. The team seemed to be no rush to supply my vehicle although I was buying the vehicle outright, I was asked to pay the balance and that they had 10 days to supply my vehicle. With no confirmed delivery day I refused and informed Vansdirect that I would be paying the full price, without a delivery date but would consider paying the balance a day or two before my vehicle is delivered. On Friday 9 September, I was informed delivery would be made on the 14 Sept. The balance was paid on the 9 September. On delivery of the vehicle I notice the vehicle was quite dirty, and when I questioned the driver, his answer was the vehicle was sitting awaiting pickup from the docks. I suspect the vehicle was purchased through a third party. The vehicle itself is as described and the purchasing process wasn't too stressing. Vansdirect may wish to consider some of the points below:- • The sale should be handled by one sales person • Balance of payment should be expected on delivery • Speed up delivery for cash buyers • Make sure the vehicle is clean when it arrives to the client.

Very very poor customer service once order had been placed told 2 to 3 weeks delivery turned out to be 6 , lots of calls and e mails to which were mostly ignored , a very stressful experience , was glad to finally get my van and all has been good so far and hoping I do not have to contact customer service again .

I have ordered 4 or 5 vans from you over the last year or so. I am now waiting for a Ford Ranger this was meant to be here mid June still no Ranger I have rang 4 times for an update but knowone ever calls me back. I feel this will be the last van I order from you!

sales of the van were very good but ,the pre delivery of the vehicle was very poor (you asked for the money and i had to wait 10 days for delivery)

The initial contact, advice and deal went smoothly. I was promissed the van on a Friday, this was not the case it seemed to take ages and no phone calls or e-mail to keep me up to date. She sent me some form to fill in on the internet which came from America, on no account was I going to sign that, Yanks, I would not trust them with yesterdays time. Customer Service was Poor. Pleased with the van though.
