The unit was clean and well furnished. Very near metro stop, grocery and eateries. The neighborhood is still very much under transition and does not feel safe in the evening hours. If you decide to rent this property please be advised that the check-in process is disorganized. The onsite desk attendant was not aware that we had rented a unit and had no information on how to gain access to our rental. After an hour the issue was resolved, thanks to the onsite attendant. The customer service center did not follow up or make sure our issue was resolved.

The attendant who received our bags and stowed them for the day was great. The attendant working in the evening didn't have a clue about our bags; he was unfriendly and unhelpful. Three stars may be generous, but we did retrieve our bags unscathed and for that we are grateful.

I was able to find and book a suitable storage place fairly close to a subway stop from Reagan National Airport in DC. I don’t really like that you can’t at least get the exact address before you book (maybe it’s further than you thought,a sketchy area, etc). A previous reviewer had mentioned the name of this particular store so I had called before booking to make sure they really were affiliated with Vertoe. They were, I booked and found the place easily. It would’ve been a great spot except there was a storm the night before and the store had no power so could not keep our luggage. We had to go online and try to find somewhere else. Fortunately, we did and all worked out. I sent customer support at Vertoe a refund request which they honored within a few days. My biggest is caveat is that you probably ought to call ahead where you plan to store your luggage before you go. We didn’t know the facility couldn’t accommodate us and we lost a couple of hours in going there, backtracking and locating another storage facility. I will make it a practice to double check before going to drop off luggage should I need to use this service in the future.

Service was good, got what I was looking for, but I noticed that 1, the bags were not at all in a secure area, 2, they never provided the blue security tags which would at least offer some peace of mind. Other than that, the service was fine, they were friendly, and we dropped off our bags, and picked them up totally fine.

Was very unsure if we were delivering it on the right plase. Just a bookstore. He did not look at my resevation and there was no resept. And no Vertoe marking om the shop.

This was such a handy way to drop off our bags and spend a lovely afternoon in Toronto before continuing our travels. My only criticism would be that we didn't get a bag tag or anything. Just dropped off and nothing in hand for proof of our baggage. All worked out just fine but I was slightly concerned that they wouldnt know which bags were ours. Not really a big deal but just thought that may be a good way to ensure everyone is comfortable. Thanks again!

The store owner greeted us and reminded me multiple times about a tip. When we picked up - nice - but wanted tip before getting bags.

I gave the service a 3 because the location I picked didn't have a specific area where to hold our luggage. He put the luggage behind the register counter nor did he have anymore of those zip ties with the code on them. He was nice and we were able to retrieve our luggage. Nothing was missing but it just seemed sketchy all together. I would've felt better if our luggage was stored in a room or a closet instead of behind a counter.

Making a reservation very easy, but canceling, is very questionable, I left a message to the phone number provided, my plans changed at the ver last minute, and to this date I’m still waiting for someone to call me back. Very disappointed

The location was a bit weird, luggage left at front of a juice bar, accessible to any customers. They said it was safe, but we took all valuables out. Picking up two officers were having a break right at our luggage, so I guess it was safe. Not sure will be using again, it should be possible to see the location before booking to verify its safety.

Upon arrival at the location, they did not query as to whether I'd made the Vertoe reservation or I was just a walk in. As a result I was double charged (vertoe charge/local) when I contended it, all they could offer was "well you should have told us you had charged it and shown us your receipt." Seems like a great service idea. But be sure that you call to confirm that your vendor is open when you need them. I’d booked for the day after Thanksgiving only to find the shop closed. But they say they’ve refunded my payment so I’m not totally dissatisfied. Will try again.

the first order i put in and paid for was for 9 hours but only showed up as half an hour. there is no customer service phone number so you have to put your request in by email. thus i was forced to place another order essentially costing me double until the first order was refunded (took 1.5 days). the place itself is not a bright clean antiseptic storage facility but rather an outsourced convenience store that was filthy filled with equally as filthy, untrustworthy looking staff. i took my passport and all important documents with me.

My baggage storage was great! However my friend who was arriving a bit later than me tried to store her stuff and the store no longer existed. We had to scramble to find somewhere to put her luggage.

I was very happy to find this service near Ford Field since we were going to the airport right after a game. While our bags were in tact, the service was a little iffy. They had no idea we were coming, didn’t have a confirmation from Vertoe, and just put our bags behind the counter. Additionally, they didn’t lock them with the tags and only gave us a tag to take upon request. However, it was moot without tags on the bags because there was no number to match to. Again, bags and belongings were safe at the end, but it didn’t give me a peace of mind while they were there.

It was my first time using this service and the booking process was seamless - however, the location/convenience store I booked at was filthy and no employee was wearing a mask, even when speaking to me. There were homeless people outside the shop and even one woman inside had her hands down her pants at one point... I felt quite unwelcome and unsafe leaving my items there. All in all, I'd book with Vertoe again as it did what was advertised, but I wish the company would better vet the locations. Will avoid the Waterfront stop at all costs.

They didn't even check my identity when I picked up my luggage and this was a different person that the one that checked us in.

It’s an convenient service and easy to book via the app. Our only concern was that I thought that I was booking a location a short walk from where we were staying. The location changed after we booked and it took 50 minutes for us to walk there. Needless to say the suitcase didn’t fair very well. So pay attention and all will be well.
