This worked but it was a pita to find the place, they won't let you choose the best location for you, and you can't modify a reservation on site

The service is great. I was very thankful to have found a place where I could keep my luggage while I was between Airbnb’s. However, my specific location in Boston, KS Variety, was not what I had pictured. Based on Vertoe’s website, where they say storage facilities are extra space that is well monitored with cameras, this place didn’t fit that description at all. First off, we arrived at KS Variety and it’s a convenience store. Worst off, they didn’t even know we had a reservation. I had to show her all my emails. She then gave us the tags, told us to take pictures and then she wheeled our luggage behind the register in some dark corner, within reach of customers. I had no choice but to leave my things as I had made other plans. I told her I’d be back at 4:30 and she said, “don’t worry. Im open until 7pm”. When we arrived at 5:45p, she was upset that I hadn’t returned at 4:30. I apologized and told her I got the impression I could stay longer since she told me she was open until 7pm. She then asked me how much I paid per hour and said I owed her an extra hour. I showed her the email that said I can arrive early or late, as long as I’m within business hours and she hesitantly gave me scissors to cut off my tags. This location should be reviewed to see if it still meets your standards.

Vertoe itself was easy to use; but I really disliked the location. My stuff felt really unsafe and they were very pushy salesfolk. They never checked my name or ID and let me just grab my stuff myself. I could have easily walked away with someone elses luggage!

This was my first experience using Vertoe and I probably wouldn’t use it again. I was expecting a secure location for my bag, but the space was just a back room of a deli that anyone could have walked into. Also, the owner of the place did not have the bag locks as promised on the website. In addition, the place closed earlier than they said on the site so we had to adjust our plans. Overall, it was a pretty disappointing experience.

Inconvenient for the following reasons: 1) the exact address is not provided until after payment is made. The location was .5 miles in the wrong direction for me and I was on foot. 2) there was no signage on the door of the business indicating it was a Vertoe location. I walked past the location several times until I went inside and asked if they knew where the Vertoe location was. I wasted about 15 minutes looking for the place and it turned out to be a dry cleaner.

The idea of vertoe is brilliant and was what I was looking for. However, the pricing was a little high and a bit misleading. The price says €5.95 per bag but after fees and taxes, it is closer to €9. That is per bag. Bookbags includes. My wife and daughters had 1 suitcase, 1 travel cot, and 3 bookbags to store all of those things for a few hours would have been over €45. We ended up carrying all of the bookbags and found a much cheaper option on the return trip paying €20 to store everything.

The place in Dublin, Ireland (the meditoranian food market) was really sketch and they made me feel uncertain about he safety of my luggage.

I found Vertoe online recently and never used them before, I was very excited there was a type of service like this that existed in helping people store their luggage/belongings temporarily. I booked the service ahead of time the same morning, fast forward to a few hours later and I unfortunately ran really late for appointments I had scheduled that days cause of delays and heavy traffic. I no longer had anytime to stop at the Vertoe location to store my luggage, I had no choice but to go about my business wit my luggage in tow and obviously it was super inconvenient and difficult. When I reached out to Vertoe for a refund afterwards they refused and said maybe I can recieve credit instead next time if I choose their service. As a new customer they could have accommodated my request this time since I basically gave away free money and never even ended up using their services. Ya, needless to say I'm pretty disappointed and won't be using Vertoe again.

I needed someplace t leave my luggage for a week. Paid in advance and went to the place. They had no blue tags and thought I should have them! Checked with Vertoe and they should have had them. Anyway, I had no choice but to leave my stuff there. It was kept behind the counter in a Gas station. Although it was intact when I got back, I did not feel it was particularly safe. I don't think I will use this service again.

My bags were not stored safely. The store owner asked me to leave them by the door of the store. I thought he would put it away, but it was left there, no lockers, easily accessible.

The concept is genius. The location and the execution of the drop-off was not ideal...I did not receive any sort of bag tag and it was a bit of a rough scene outside the store.

Booked to drop luggage off in Bangkok. The location was unattended/closed? I waited around for 30 min before leaving (with luggage). Contacted Vertoe. Was told I would be issued a refund that may take up to 10 days. After 15 days, no refund. I had to reach out yet again to get my money back. In total, I waited around 20 days. Only after I contacted them again did they said they would send through the refund. Needless to say, I won't bother trying to use this service again.

Muy fácil de hacer la reserva, pero nos encontramos con que el establecimiento no estaba abierto a la hora que habíamos reservado (9 de la mañana), abrió a las 9 y media pasadas, y además a la hora de reservar lo hicimos hasta las 18.30 y cuando dejamos las maletas el dueño nos dijo que teniamos que recogerlas antes de las 17.00 porque a esa hora cerraba si o si. Lo cual nos hizo acortar bastante nuestros planes ante la posibilidad de no poder coger las maletas

The shop owner looked after our bag fine but he was very pressuring about making sure we tip - mentioning it over and over again, borderline aggressive. This made us both very uncomfortable, particularly as he did nothing which was deserving of a tip.

The vendor didn’t seam to interested in assisting my family. We were given four lock tags to secure our luggage; then instructed to set it by the door in the wide open. When we came to pick up our luggage it was still by the door and no one verified that the tags matched our reservation.

Luggage storage at local businesses is a great idea. If the Quality Mart in Boston Back Bay was vetted though, I don’t think it would have been selected for a partnership. The staff person seemed surprised that we were coming, did not verify our reservations, and didn’t have a large enough space to accommodate our full group’s bags and placed some in an unlocked area. I will use Vertoe again, but I’ll read detailed reviews of the specific locations which seem to vary wildly in quality

I booked a space for 2 luggages downtown and ludged them to the location as you don’t get the accurate location until you pay. When we got there, the store was closed, they’re closed on Sundays. On the Vertoe website, they said the store was open 7 days. We checked google maps and found that they’re closed on Sundays and multiple other days. Disappointing. They don’t even have a phone number to contact Vertoe on their website for customer service.
