I booked my heavy luggage in for storage and when I arrived in a cab the shop was closed. He didn't arrive for nearly half an hour. When I said I needed to collect my luggage half an hour earlier than I had stipulated on the form to get to the airport he said it was not possible. I had to find another luggage storage facility. The whole episode was very disappointing and inconvenient.

Paid for a storage space for 2 bags. The bodega it was located in was closed. Attempted to get a refund and still haven’t.

The things with the app was amazing, but in the place not, the owner of the placa was very un respectful and we return minutes a go because we forgot a charger for our phone an let us know that wasn’t permit to do that, with very bad attitude and face a little bit discriminating or something like that.

It's a fake offer, we booked and paid for storage and couldn't find any storage at the address given! Thrown money out the window

I could not use your service but you take my money and you did not refund it. I will write every place that I could, your stores are untrustful, do not store anything. They can steal your items.

Very bad service. The location which was a private cigarette shop refused to have any business with Vertoe cancelled everything upon arrival and send me out again. So I lost money for the Uber to go there and stress to look for another location last minute. They are also not responding to messages, not even gave a hotline for customers to call if they need help! I am very disappointed! Never again, I don't recommend anybody using this "so called service" It might probably be a big scam! Once booked you cannot contact them at all anymore and you lose your money!

So I searched on the app for a location near me, it said 0.13 mi you have to submit CC info to make an appointment. After submitting info the location turned out to be 3 miles away. Way to far, so we didn’t use the service. Sorry No Refund. 😩

The locations we have are all accurate and according to our Terms and Conditions, the full address and contact information of those locations will be provided after booking confirmation. Upon further investigation, the refund was not provided because you reached out to our Support Team, 4 days after your booking date. According to our Terms and Conditions, You will get a full refund for any booking canceled before the check in date. For any booking cancellation requests on or after the check in date, you will not be eligible for a refund. Once your check-in date starts, our location partners are holding space for you, so you can no longer cancel the booking as it has prevented others from booking the location. However, on a case by case basis, please know that we may be able to give you credits for future bookings. Please write to us at support@vertoe.com and we will try our best to accomodate you. Website is deceptive, no locker was provided. The attendant informed us that the luggage would be sitting in the open storehouse of Robert’s liquor/market. The employees working there would have access to the luggage. I tried to call to get a refund and it was the employee at the market that picked up. It was not secure at all and I did not leave my luggage at the liquor store. Very dissatisfied and would not use your services again. I want a refund of the $29.10 charged, as I was forced to pre pay for this deceptive service. I went around the corner and rented an actual locker to secure my luggage with a competitor for the day. Do not use this service.fine print says you must pre pay and cannot receive a refund if cancelled on the same day.

We apologize if you felt unsafe with one of our locations but please know that they are individually verified and trained by our staff before being listed. Although these locations do not have lockers, they make sure they provide you with tamper-proof seals and store your bag in a safe place where they can see it and where it is safe. As for the refund policy, it is stated well in our Terms & Conditions that any bookings made on the day of the check-in date are no longer eligible for a refund. For your reference, here is what is stated on the website: 9. Cancellations and Refunds 9.1 The Storage Seeker may cancel their reservation and get a full refund anytime before the scheduled check-in date. We hope for your understanding on this matter. I was extremely disappointed. In fact, the site where I was to leave my bags was so filthy and insecure that I chose not to leave them. Vertoe would not issue me a refund. They did say that they would go inspect the site at some point in the future. They don't let you know where your bags will be until after you pay. I encourage everyone not to use this service.

When I reserved online it said I could cancel my reservation at anytime before check-in, for any reason. When I tried to cancel I was unable , and the cancelation policy had changed from check in time to check in date. I have no idea what the facility is like, so I can’t speak to that. Make sure you don’t want to cancel before reserving luggage storage with this company.

The location we were given for our bags had no security and we were supposed to leave them in an open shop area with one member of staff working where they had no sight of the bags. Really unacceptable. What a waste of money.

We made a booking but when we showed up at our scheduled time the place was closed. We waited for as long as we could, but had an appointment to make and had to find other arrangements to store our luggage. I reached out to customer support, but they have not currently refunded our money for a service that was never provided. I am very disappointed.

The man running the storage area had no idea what we were talking about when we dropped our bags off. He did not give us any kind of confirmation or receipt or bag ID tag. He stared at us, and then asked us to pay. We said we already paid online on Vertoe (it seemed like he wanted to trick us into paying more) and then he mumbled and took out bags and placed them in the back of the store. Under no type of lock of anything, just 4 big luggage bags in the back of the store. We did not feel good about leaving our luggage at all, but had to meet a tour group immediately. So we left and had no peace of mind while on the tour. We got back 4 hours later and the bags were there and all our belongings seemed to be in them, but it was not a good overall experience.

lesson learned… I needed to put our backpacks into a locker for a few hours while we explored Barcelona on the last day of our trip. I googled locker and came across Vertoe.com. I tried to find their nearest locker storage place but had to pay before the exact location was shared with me. 15 euro for 2 backpacks. It was not a locker storage place, it was a corner shop. the guy behind the counter expected me to just leave my bag there. when I asked to see the lockers he got aggressive "locker downstairs" he said, but I knew he was lying. I refused to leave my bag there and left but Vertoe refused to give me a refund. I found a real locker storage facility not far away and it cost 5 euros for the day. This is not a good company and I would never use them again. they don't care about the safety of your stuff and charge 3 times as much as a real locker storage company to just dump your bags in the back storeroom of any business they can sign up. please save yourself time and money and use a reputable locker storage facility.

However, each location is verified and trained by our team before being listed. We also do have an insurance policy of $5000 if in case something happens with your belongings while being stored. We understand that you are frustrated when you found out that our locations have no locker system but please do know that these locations have security cameras as well for added safety of your luggage. Wound up paying double to get a storage space for a bag for a few hours, shopkeeper said dont use online booking, they charge a fee... . Cancel and pay me cash, you get refund from them in about an hour. Vertoe did not care about their vendor ripping off people, even when I showed them proof/receipts. My dispute was dismissed and everyone kept their (my) money. Never again, rip-off artists.

they say you can cancel for free at any time but you cant and they wont refund you didnt get to use my booking and still had to pay they did not care one bit

Simply Put. Horrid customer service. I paid for a luggage drop, the door was locked and the owner didn’t pick up the phone. I requested a refund, was told to prove I didn’t use the service, I have no way to prove that, and no further follow ups from Vertoe. I know I am only out €14, but that’s not customer service. Avoid this company.
