Sad to say I am going to pay off my account after several years of using Very. Simply impossible to get anything sorted out for a wrong order sent to me which I returned with lots of information about it being wrong. They are still charging me for an item that I didn't receive in the wrong order! So disappointed. I even ordered from them again before I realised that had totally not acknowledged the information I sent with the wrong order. Terrible wait and expensive to use customer service and the complete waste of time virtual assistant. Sk disappointed and dong trust that they will get things right in future.

Please people out there AVOID AVOID AVOID there interest rates are crippling and in this unstable financial climate they are not prepared to help. There prices are high and their customer services staff are rude and unhelpful. They don't care and will tell you it's not there problem as you the customer made the decision to get into debt and they expect payment on the days they decide not when you can manage them. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE think very carefully before you make any purchases with this company. There are much better retail online services that are willing to listen and much cheaper with no or low interest payments. Don't do it to yourself read all the reviews before you get trapped with Very.

Rubbish do not use them!!!!!! Tried to by on buy now pay after 6 months. They sent an order conformation so I was expecting the item. Went on my account to track order and it had been declined. No email to let me know. Spoke to customer service( overseas) who I struggled to understand who put me through to someone else. They informed me that yes I had been declined they wouldn’t explain why. But said if I paid in full I could have the item. Which is exactly what I did, they took the money and still declined the order. At this moment we have been waiting on the phone to our bank to find out where the money is. Very customer service is very very bad. I was spoken to by a very hard nosed women who wasn’t very helpful at all. In fact she was awful!!!!!!

Just been told by a customer service representative they are not willing to help and that was after 3 other cut me off willing to take your money but not willing to sort out the mess this has happened on numerous occasions won't ever be using them again and definitely won't recommended their services to anyone. Please don't ever do a per order as you won't get the item day of release as that clearly won't happen

Ordered a ps5. They gave me tracking details. Item didn't arrive. I called them after a month! They then tell me it's out of stock. How ridiculous!

Don’t bother ordering from here. I returned a pair of shoes a month ago and still haven’t been refunded can’t get in contact with them this is ridiculous.

0 stars!! I received an email on the 18th October stating my parcel had been delivered and was ready to collect. I then received another message on the 20th October reminding that my parcel was ready to collect. I went to collect my item on the 21st October and was told by a worker at the Texaco garage that my parcel was not there and it had not been delivered. After spending 40 minutes in the Texaco garage and then 1 hour on a Web chat with yodel and then another hour on the phone with Very I was told my parcel had been delivered and it had been signed for by a employee of the garage on the morning of the 18th at 9:21 and that the package was not with Yodel. I was advised to wait 2 days to see if my parcel would arrive even though all claimed they did not have my parcel. After spending half of my only day off chasing a watch I had brought a week in advance because it was a gift, I was still without a present, less petrol and less time and empty handed and embarrassed. I then received an email on 22nd October, 1 from very and 1 from yodel stating that my parcel had now been delivered to the garage and was ready to collect. The code given was the exact same code emailed to me on 18th October. Yodel nor Very have even given me an explanation as to why my parcel was not at the Texaco garage when I went to collect on the 21st even though i received 2 messages stating it had been delivered and may be collected, along with no explanation as to why if it had been delivered on the 18th like I was told, was it only delivered on the 22nd October. The customer service throughout was disgusting..the Texaco employee was rude and uninterested..Yodel only offer a Web chat and both yodel employees I spoke with offered no help other than to advise that my parcel had been delivered and to wait so they can speak with the depot team in 48 hours (I kept a screen shot of the whole chat), Very did give more information..that my parcel had been delivered and singed for providing me with a time and name however, they could only advise to wait 2 days as the parcel may still arrive (remember according to Very & Yodel its already been delivered). As a customer, the lack of customer service provided to me was shocking! There was no empathy, long waiting times, having to repeat myself when passed to a new employee, Yodels ridiculous live Web chat, no acknowledgement as to the inconvenience this all caused me not to mention the embarrassment of not having the present I had promised. Although I was assured that I would receive a telephone call, no one from either company (Very & Yodel) have called me back as promised. I will not be purchasing anything from Very that involves Yodel ever again and my loyalty as a Very customer is now in question!!!

This is a review left by me on TrustPilot. I updated it today and will keep updating until I have my issue resolved. Last month I changed my address with this company, or so I thought. I did this both on the phone and online. Yesterday I ordered two items, a washing machine and a microwave. Several hours later I received a tracking message to say that the microwave was being delivered to my old address. On checking my account I could see that the microwave was indeed going to my old address, but the washing machine was coming to my new address on a different day. I checked my account details and my address is shown as my new one. I rang Very, and was told that they had me registered at my old address. I asked why my two items were being sent to different addresses, when I ordered them at the same time, but couldn't get an accurate answer. Instead I was told to call the delivery company myself and cancel the delivery. I have spent half the morning trying to do this to no avail. I looked on Verys website to see how I complain, but you just get a customer service number with no complaint option. Therefore I would likely end up speaking to the same person who told me to call the delivery company. I also tried to change my address again, however I don't have a house number, just a house name, but the woman that I was speaking to, couldn't comprehend this and insisted on a house number. At this point I gave up and hung up. In this day and age, do we really need these big companies to be this incompetent. I thought I would put an update on this review. The rating remains as one star. The item has been shown as delivered with a signature. This however is not to my home address, and it wasn't signed for here. However the washing machine did show up on Tuesday. On leaving my first review, I received an e-mail stating that Very wanted more details to contact me, I sent the details five days ago, however have heard nothing. I admit I do have a poor mobile phone signal, but how about a call to my landline or a message.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS, WILL MESS UP ANY FUTURE CREDIT THAT YOU SPEND YEARS TRYING TO ESTABLISH!! I stupidly opened an account with Very to get a tumble dryer. I make all my payments on time every month. Last month I made my payment early so that I was out of the way to then get an email telling me I'd missing my payment, i panicked and made another payment 27mins after the day it was due to be told me payment was now late!! I rang up customer service to be told I made my first payment too early, even though I'd only made it 2 weeks prior and I would now get a late mark, i then got a late fee plus a mark on my credit score and now other credit accounts have taken all of my credit off me!! Absolute joke. Avoid at all costs.

I purchased a Hugo Boss Ring which was faulty, Very’s incompetent system allowed my account to be defrauded & as result they changed my account number, it took in excess of 6 months for them to close the compromised account, so every month I had to call them to physically make the payment over the phone, every month they struggled to sort the payment out & even though they promised I would have online account access, they never sorted it out so I just had to call month after month with no regard from them, this took in excess of 7 hours of my time down to this company being incompetent. So when the ring become faulty, I could not return it online as the items I had purchased before the fraud were not listed, so once again I called, another 90 minutes ago of my time on the phone to a foreign employee who could not understand me & they eventually advised I was to returned the item, I added a note advising the old account number, the new account number, the item number & my details, a month went past & I heard nothing, I once again called & they could not understand me, then I get a email advising they had the item back but could not refund it as it was not on my account so could I call them, at this point I was fuming, the lady I spoke to was arrogant, rude, unhelpful & continuously spoke over me, she refused to let me speak to a manager & transferred me to another colleague, she said she had a raised a complaint, she promised I would receive a refund in 7-10 days, gave me this email address to make a complaint Securityandprivacy@theverygroup.com, 3 weeks later & not heard a thing, tried to email to this email address again, tried to speak over Facebook, now they say they have no active incoming email address & they refuse to call me back. What type of company has no incoming email address or chat, they are thieves, they must do this so they can keep peoples money as their foreign employees do not understand English, please avoid this terrible company, keep my money, you have robbed me but I will shout it at every given opportunity 😡😡😡😡😡 Sort your business out, you’re a disgrace!!!

AVOID ! Don’t open an account with them and don’t be fooled with the 3 interest free payments. It’s a trap ! The online order transaction will be approved and then they will cancel the credit and Then they will ask you to pay using another mode of payment telling you that they can’t cancel your order. And then I just realised they made a hard search on you. This was not properly explained / clearly visible on Terms and condition. I honestly been maintaining my high credit score for 15 years and been careful not to jeopardise it BUT VERY did it ! The only reason why I initially ordered the DJI Avata is because I will get an Avios points and definitely can pay it in cash however I was lured with the interest free offer . My advise is just don’t do it with them . In my case my score was affected because of it.

Stealing money from your card, saying they are not able to authorize the payment - but charging your card. 40 min on the phone, still waiting for the customer adviser to respond. I wish I'd read reviews before placing an order, and I don't recommend this scam to anyone

If i could give a minus I would! False advertising on their site, advertising products that they don’t even have and when speak to customer services to ask where item is that i’ve ordered but not deliveredthey say “it’s not their problem” . They supply ‘tracking ‘ numbers for royal mail that don’t even exist and if you dare complain to their customer services you’re again told that ‘it’s not their problem’ and blame Royal Mail and claim your contract is with Royal Mail and not themselves ....they then put you straight through to royal mail tracking who ask for the tracking number supplied by Very....which of course doesn’t exist!!!! (The item I ordered was nearly 2K...which Very took from my bank within minutes of myself ordering!! (The item I ordered was nearly 1K.....which Very made sure they took the money out of my bank within minutes of my order ....for an item they can’t even supply!)Absolutely appalling company and will be reporting them

I placed an order on Friday the 15th of July and was told that the order would be delivered on Saturday. I was tracking the order online and there was no movement. I spoke to customer services and told that the order should still be delivered on the Saturday. The courier did not even receive the order until Sunday and did not dispatch the order until Monday. On the Monday, my order went out with Yodel. It was delivery 141 of 146. I was tracking my order online and at one point the driver was within 500 yards of my house but because his route was so poorly optimized, by the time he gave up and went home he was 3 miles away on the other side of town. It is now 10.30 am on the Tuesday and Yodel have contacted me saying there will be a delay. There is no estimated delivery time. Very customer service have told me I would have to wait 48 hours to find out if my order will be delivered today. A terrible company combined with a terrible courier means terrible service on all levels. I WILL NOT USE THIS COMPANY EVER AGAIN! And i suggest you do the same.

I got complaint from them via their customer service agent NOT TO GO TO TRUSTPILOT!!! i had to go to them to get something done as they obviously dont care and HE was cheeky and had an attitude towards me!!! then he hiked my huge refund onto my account putting PUTTING ME IN THE RED!!! after i came off the phone!!! and HE gave me a Minus figure against my account as well!!! i now have to wait 7-10 days for it all to be put right .. who is running this company????..

Very tried to bully me into taking out a 3 year loan, if I didn't take it they were block8ng my account. This waw in January this year. My account was not in debt and I was always paying as I should. This is horrible practise, my account was blocked because I didn't take out your bullying loan. I will be seeking legal advice on this.

I ordered a stroller in January for small granddaughter - it arrived and we struggled to do up the straps so returned it in May having used it once. All seemed fine - but no refund. Yesterday I received the same stroller back - and spoke to customer services who said I had left it too long for a refund and also the straps had been cut! Which was nonsense - nothing has been cut. Spoke to manager who wasn't going to give way in spite of my pointing out the rubbish (lie) about cut straps so am stuck with buggy I don't want. Quite shocking in this day and age when refunds are so simple provided the item isn't damaged. (had to give one star btw as it wouldn't let me type anything until I did. No stars is what I meant).
