Non existent customer service. Swore at, and treated with utter contempt when I tried to open a complaint. Awful returns policy

Very is an awful company. It’s products are over priced, you pay huge amounts of interest and they are about as helpful as a chocolate tea pot when it comes to customer service. Everything about very has been designed to milk the customer of their time and money. Pay dates are never the same so they are always catching you out, they apparently are not able to make it a specific day, although staff will tell you that you can pay £12.50 to defer the payment to make it sync with payday. This solution does not work and only costs more money. I was struggling to make payments, was asked to fill in a excel spreadsheet with my monthly income and expenditures. I filled the form out and spent weeks trying to get it back to them because they would only accept it in an image format. I was told the best option would be to sit on the phone, which in my experience is a 45 minute wait. I even tried speaking to very through fb messenger, I sent the document across and asked for it to be sent to the correct department, which they said they did not have the facilities to do. Not having the facilities to email something to the correct very department ? I mean come on its 2021. I asked for an email address to send it to but that was only ignored. After weeks of back and forth and trying to get their form across they came back and told me they couldn’t help. With places now offering Klarna and interest free payments I don’t understand how they are even still in business. They are an unhelpful lot and you end paying double for such a incredibly bad service. Me and my wife both have accounts and once payed up we will never use them again.

I have bin trying to sort out a very big issue with very and have bin promised a phone call a email help to sort this matter you name it and sill nuffink.. thay let one guy buy 30 boxes of pokémon cards at £45 each becos thay was all the same he was mad and left a review and sent them all bk im livid with this as my son has bin trying for about half a year to get some as he's hi risk in the pandemic so upset as thay shows thay was in stock just not for me I gess all ways saying thay had a problem and don't know wen ther be in stock and like the bikes I order and the hottub seemes like people get favorites if ur a rep or suming like that 🤔🤔🤔😠😤

Absolutely terrible customer service, ordered item which was damaged, you have to wait for about 35/40 minutes to talk to someone, . I sent damaged item back but they wouldn’t do an exchange, resulting in me having to wait until the returned my money before reordering. By this point my item was then out of stock. Ordered a different bed throw and a completely different item arrived, again refused to send me out the item I did order originally until I sent the wrong one back. They organised pick ups which didn’t end up not turning up to collect the items resulting in further delay, and advised on numerous occasions I would receive phone calls back and they never phoned back. Absolutely shocking service, will never use very again.

I ordered AirPods with very with insurance through them. When my AirPods became faulty I contacted very to arrange delivery for the AirPods to be sent to the manufactory/insurance company. When I sent the AirPods I did not hear from very or received any emails confirmation that my AirPods were delivered or they were processing them. Luckily, I had my recipt and it showed that they had been delivered. When I called very. I did not receive a consistent answer. I was told they had lost them, did not receive them. Eventually they said I would receive a refund. However, I did not receive a refund. I’ve requested to speak to a supervisor or a manager. They said they would call me back but never did once. I had advisor who cut the phone off because they probably did not know what to do. I have sent formal complaint did not receive a response. The customer service is absolutely appalling. Very unreliable, dishonest and unprofessional.

We bought two settee and the cushions were flat without weeks, we called Very and they sent someone out to look at them. The person looked and could obviously see that one cushion was about 2 inches flatter than the one next to it. He then weighed both the cushions and said as they weigh the same there is nothing wrong 😟 Now the settees have collapsed at the back and the bottom of the sofa has dropped significantly. They are just over 1 year old and will not last another 6 months. 🤬

My item did not arrived and the customer service is inexistent. There is only a trash robot on their website that dosent answer anything. Dont use this website

I wouldn't recommend Vary to anyone they have taken my daughter's money and delivery was meant to be 22 January for a Tumble dryer it's now the 15 of February she just given birth to her second child and has to ask family to dry their clothes although my daughter has asked for a refund to go buy one somewhere else they have refused to give her a refund and she is seeking legal advice this is the worst service possible why do you promise a date and then when it don't happen make excuses you have her money and she has nothing you're con men in my opinion this service is totally unacceptable in 7 days time that will be two months she's been waiting give her her money back this is your fault not hers

An electrical item that stopped working after two weeks, on my first phone call to Very they stated I could return it as it was faulty. Now Very refuse to accept the return, sending me instead to the supplier, who are contacting the manufacturer. The supplier quite rightly state that Very provided the goods so must accept the return! Purchased as a gift for my son after a very difficult year for him and a hospital stay. Very have been less than useless, never again will I purchase from them.

Ordered a TV which arrived damaged, received a refund and put an order in for a replacement second TV also arrived damaged. Now have great difficulty contacting them to arrange a return, call centre says they are currently closed (all day on a Monday?).

Avoid! It isn't worth the hassle! Terrible company. I don't know how they are even still in business with the terrible customer. Item was ordered and paid for with regular updates stating my order was "on track". Only on checking my account the day before this item was to be shipped did i see that they have cancelled my order, refunded and didn't even bother to inform me that they had done this!! I'm now stuck without an item that I ordered on the FIRST DAY OF PRE-ORDER that will now not be with here. If they had bothered to inform me that they didn't have the stock i could have ordered elsewhere. Waited on the phone to customer service for over an hour for them to just cut me off when they didn't want to confirm their error. This is terrible management and i will ensure I never deal with this company again!!!!

I had Very recommended to me by a friend who swears by their service. I have had three purchases now and their quality, prices and delivery are superb I would recommend this Company to everyone. Give them a try

Got accepted for a very account had it for a week before ordering soon as I came to order they’ve placed my order an told me it would be here in a couple of days... so comes to the day it’s due to be delivered( had to take time outta work for this) just for me to be sat round waiting then having to phone the company for them to say there sorry they’re shutting my account down with no explanation to why.. this is a very very poorly run company that lacks in common communication with its customers absolute appalling behaviour received by telephone operator just overall experience this company has just wasted my time & money by lying.

BEWARE Order items at your own risk. Ordered the Prague 3 door wardrobe. A door was damaged on delivery. I contacted customer services to request they send me just a door. They wouldn't send just a door, they demanded I pay for a whole new set of wardrobes again, so I had to pay twice which I couldn't really afford to do just before christmas. After returning the first set of wardrobes, the second set of wardrobes were delivered. AGAIN the door was damaged, completely smashed to pieces. I AGAIN contacted customer services hoping they would send me just the door. Unbelievably I yet again was told to pay for another wardrobe which by the way was out of stock and not available until the end of February. In the mean time I'm stuck with a damaged item. It has taken literally months to order a wardrobe that isn't damaged and a COSTLY one. Why should the customer have to go to the expense of paying for a replacement item AGAIN if it gets damaged in transit. (All I required was they send me just a door) Disgusted with the way the whole situation was dealt with. Something is very wrong with the way they process damaged goods and totally unacceptable the way they treat you through no fault of your own.

They decline your NON credit account after making a debit card purchase and then advise they are not at liberty to divulge information of why to you. Yet happily take my money and not return it. Shady company!
