VERY ONLINE SHOPPING - Please email your complaints to one of the 'senior executive' team' as this company is unethical, unprofessional and in some ways fraudulent. VERY charge customers for items that are faulty and do not refund items that have been returned. They have a system in place that is there to con the customer and often the most vulnerable customers too . As people with plenty of money would not shop in VERY. Rest assured the Beckhams do not shop here. In my circumstances - I returned a faulty Hoover -which VERY received back and refunded me - ( this was only after I had to go through a process of speaking to Hoover first to do some checks to verify it was faulty) Hoover verified it was faulty and then gave me a code that I had to call VERY back and give said code. This 'code' then permits VERY call agent to authorise a return and a collection...... I thought that was it, job done. As it would be with any other reputable company. But oh no - VERY want to try and get any money they can out of customers so out the blue without ANY notification not via EMAIL/LETTER/TEXT/PHONECALL ( VERY had plenty of ways to contact me) VERY re-charge this Hoover back to my statement account. VERY chose not to tell me that they decided to do this. There no written/no phone call/no text explanation as to why - Instead the Hoover charge just reappears on my statement as a current debit - together with admin charges! A) Hoover is faulty as far as I, the customer was concerned B) I've since bought another vacuum C) I don't have the Hoover they are charging me for D) Very put the re- charge on a normal monthly payment which is different to the original purchase agreement. The original was BNPL ( Buy now pay later) Why would VERY re-charge for an item, that not only there is a discrepancy on - but not tell the customer they were doing that and why ? Plus change the charge from original item method ordered which was BNPL - ' ''buy now pay later' - into a pay right now charge?? I suspect it so VERY can start to charge me interest! Hoping I would not notice it in my account. No doubt also so that they could add a late payment fee too. All my other items on account are on BNPL scheme for at least another 8 months . . Unbelievable ! This Company must be avoided like the plague. Do a search online for the Very group CEO board and you will get the senior managers contact details. It is those people that need to be accountable for the way they run this business. I have wasted an hour this morning on the phone to two agents who have not solved this mess. VERY are in the wrong to not even inform the customer a charge is being added and why that charge is being re-added. No transparency and honesty at VERY. I will be escalating this complaint to the senior managers to get a auditable response on this scam.

I wouldn't even rate this one star but had to by default. Placed my very first order yesterday for delivery today, took my money quickly from my bank account. Item is now out of stock, - I waited in all day to find out after calling that my item is not in stock. No communication or email from Very at all. Terrible service, customer services seem fed up and are unhelpful, just keep telling you to look at 'my account' crikey what a business, good job not all online retailers operate like this, they need to get ahead of the game. :( wont be using ever again, such a bad experience. My item was out of stock when i purchased it but the website said it was in stock. The warehouse figures obvs dont relate to the website... never ordering from them again,

Like the other comments I have read there should be a zero star. I have been a Kays - Littlewoods customer for more than 20 years have spent thousands with them over the years, I have a £10000 credit limit with them even though my balance is zero at the moment. I was looking at washing machines yesterday and the one I wanted was £499.99 on Littlewoods and £120 cheaper on Very, so I thought I would open account with Very and order my Washer I was declined credit, how can Littlewoods give me £10000 and Very not let me have a washer for £379.99 when they are owned by the same company, even though I wanted to pay over three months. Well having a washer delivered tomorrow by another company. wont be giving Shop Direct any more of my money there loss.

Avoid at any cost !!!! Unfortunately again my issue is not resolved. I am mentally and physically tired of this. Still without washing machine. I have to go to laundrette and pay for the washing. I could never imagine myself that buying a washing machine with Very would be that kind of challenge. Let me start from the beginning. On the 5 of May I have bought a washing machine with installation. Later in the week I got a text message from hotpoint saying that I would only get a delivery without installation. So I am calling hotpoint asking why. They are saying to call Very. On 8 of May I am calling Very. Explaining everything. Very saying that apparently I have not paid for the installation which it is not true. Very is confused 🤷‍♀️ they clearly don't know what they are doing. Lady is transferring me another person who is confirming that i did pay for the installation. 👍 apparently there was a mistake on the system and they have not set a installation with the delivery so she will return me those money. (I have not got any refund) obviously I still want the washing machine delivered with installation so because of this mistake she have to transfer me to Hotpoint and I have to pay for the installation again. Which I have paid £119. They have set the date and I am waiting. 13 of May I should get a delivery. I got slot time then text message saying they will be there in 15 minutes. Terrible man very rude saying that he came to fix the washing machine not delivered. As you can imagine I could not believe what is happening. So I called them. This is a joke what kind of customer service they provide over the phone. 2 people hang up on me when I’ve asked to speak to their managers . This company does not know how to handle anything. They can not advise or be helpful. Finally I just wanted to cancel this order and get my money back. I got hold off somebody who did this for me but he only did refund me £ 400.I still want to get back this extra £119 which I have to pay for the installation coz of the system issues. The only response which I got from very was when I left my first review here. This is saying a lot about this company. Jonh contacted me. Unfortunately he also can not help me as I have to contact Hotpoint myself. I still want my £119 back as I have paid for the installation. This is nothing to do with me. Imagine he want me to call Hotpoint and claim the money back. Like this is my fault. This is a joke. I can not believe. actually whatever you do they still wont help you. If you want to spend your money with Very please think twice. This story can happen to everyone.

Very bad greedy company would never deal with them again rip you off exploit you unprofessional customer service refused to speak with manager by staff ridiculous amount of APR 54.9 on the phone for two hours was cut off passed to four different operators who had no clue could not explain my account but expected me to know get you in a load of debt by interest atrocious company please be aware paid closed account would never buy again from these.

If I could I will get this complete zero stars I suffer from Parkinson is I have spent quite some time choosing items but unfortunately when I come to pay they constantly bombard you with offers of opening a credit card which I do not want I was unable to pay using my own personal card I was constantly receiving pop-ups about the credit cards with no other option to pay. I do manage to make orders from websites but this is so ridiculous look at your reviews Very and do something about your customer services. I will never attempt to shop at Very again and I advise everybody else to do the same.

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever come across. These are difficult times and companies who have profited massively should know how to treat the customers that have always support them. Very don't seem to think this is important. I won't buy from them again and I would advise everyone else to think twice. Most reviews back this up.

Ordered a fridge freezer and paid £19.99 for the old one to be collected and taken away and the courier knew nothing about it! So now we have a boxed fridge freezer and an old one and no one collecting it. Courier said they haven't done that since March.

Ordered a new cooker for my 82 year old mother, paid for installation etc, email received would be with me by thursday 15 April. Two days later email saying there's a problem and delay doesnt say until when. Contact the distributor they said you wont be getting that model until 20 May. Contacted Very after 30 minutes on hold spoke to the rudest most abrupt person to cancel and ask for a refund took best part of an hour! They actually thought I was going to allow an 82 year old to go without hot meals for a month. Very disappointed with Very. Having read the other reviews in hindsight not Very surprised!

Cannot believe the telephone call we just had to make? Our Company ordered a new Apple iphone 12 Mini for a member of our sales team who is working from their home office to take important work calls. Paid £627.99, which we presumed was a competitive price by Company debit card. Received a text message the following day, requesting we call Very. We thought 'Great' - checking security & address for fruad. Oh no! Sorry, we cannot accept your order because you are a Company/business & not an individual.....What? Very,,,,,business MUST be good, for you to be turning away orders.... Since received a refund on our Company debit card. Advice - do not waste your time or energy but most importantly - your money with Very.

Absolutely useless, ordered my daughter some toddler shoes 4 months ago which didn't fit her. Sent them back and kept receipt as proof of purchase and I have contacted their customer services department three times for a solution only to be asked for a tracking number.

I.love shopping with very online it's got great products ok you might pay bit more .but you cant fault they quality I've never had reason to complain or Return anything shopping online is ideal for me as why queue in your own area to shop and you dont always like what you see .il always shop online in the comfort of your home no rush new stock every week suits me

Money grabbing company with high interest charges and late fees!!!! Sent me an offer code to get money off on BNPL then didn’t credit me back and had to pay full price. Totally messed around by customer services who lie to you and don’t want to fix the problem as long as they get more money out of you! Shocking!! AVOID!!

Very discriminatory to transgender people, and not understanding at all. Opened an account with Very few months ago 43572771, had a phone call (after I had made my order and had it confirmed) from a woman firing on all cylinders and snotty tone because they must have realised after giving me the account and confirmation that my details were now different from previous attempts to obtain a catalogue before in old name, obviously due to prefix and name change and applying in my new legal name she seemed to think I was up to something she didn’t say this but obviously could tell from her attitude towards me trying to obtain a littlewoods account also, anyways fast forward to today never missed a payment and paid out the last £160 owing on my account in full and added £520.98 so all in all paid £620.98 so I could order a new tv as mine is not working and get declined, called them up spoke to a very nice apologetic man who told me they understand and it all makes sense about my name change now but ran a credit check on my new name (which I applied for the account in initially and was given so obviously already passed credit check in new name) and now saying I don’t pass the credit check and they would be closing my account and refunding the £520.98 I’d paid extra to the account, I find this absolutely absurd and discriminatory, making excuses to close my account because Im transgender I have been nothing but upfront about everything and have good credit in my new name my account was in my new name so I can’t see anything I’ve done wrong just excuses to close my account and so I would advise any transgender person not to deal with them as this is clearly discrimination, appalling.
