Would give less than 1 star if I could. Cancelled my order for no reason and closed my account.. Absolutely no reason given when I called up. I paid on a debit card and order was to my home address. Never again.

I wanted to close my account but couldn't do this on line and had to go through customer services (!!)and after waiting 10 mins, lost count of how many options I had to go through before I actually spoke to a real person. They then said 1 would have to wait 14, yes 14 working days, to receive a letter of confirmation. Strange how what would be a generated letter should take so long, perhaps the pigeon is writing it as well as delivering it!!!

Due to Very employee I spoke to today I will no longer shop from this company. Absolutely disgusted is an understatement… I’m pretty sure Very will continue to lose customers because of arrogant employees

All fine till something goes wrong, so annoying, so frustrating spent so long on hold to find out "No we can't replace the damaged goods received, phone the manufacturer" so they take your money but don't want to know after that. Even gave me the wrong info to pass onto the manufacturer so after another long long long wait on hold the manufacturer says "I'm sorry but we can't do anything with this reference no." grrrrrrrrr, what pathetic customer service, just to be clear the people on the end of the phone are fine it's the company policy makers that need to be dealt with....

Shambolic customer service. I ordered a PS5 bundle which has been lost whilst out for delivery with Royal Mail. First of all, change your delivery provider. Royal Mail have terrible reviews for delivering high-value items, instead go with Hermes or UPS. After calling Royal Mail daily to check up on the item they deemed it lost. Very who I contacted, explained they would set up their own complaint and contact me on Friday. Of course they didn't and I had to chase up with them. At the end they offered me a refund. Which I explained, is simply not good enough. They couldn't send out another PS5 and couldn't give me priority the next time it's in stock. So they expect me to wait 2 hours in the online waiting room and buy it again before it sells out super fast. A huge waste of time and I regret buying from here. PLEASE AVOID BUYING FROM THIS SHAMBLES OF A COMPANY. THEY HAVE ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE. If I had bought it with Argos, Smyths, Amazon, Shopto etc. I am sure I would be sitting here playing PS5.

The worst company I have ever dealt with complete liars from start to finish. I still have my old fridge freezer siting on my drive because their lazy feckless delivery wasters said the couldn't get the new freezer through our door or remove our old one which we paid them to do. My wife and I had it all done in 20 minutes without out the aid of a trolley. I urge everyone to stay well away from this awful company. They treat their customers with utter contempt. DO NOT USE THIS ROTTEN COMPANY YOU WILL BE VERY SORRY!!!!!!!

I purchased an expensive computer desktop(MSI) over £1200 because they offered a 20% cashback if i took it on buy now pay later, this was in april, now months down the line, they refuse to acknowledge the offer even existed, they are denying it point blank and despite being on the phone for hours they still refuse to acknowledge it.They said i should screenshot every order from Very.co.uk to PROVE this deal existed.I am actually thinking about contacting Police Scotland to investigate this fraud. As you can see by the other reviews, this company is a bit shady. Please dont make the same mistake as me and not screenshot every purchase from the crooks at Very. So i will pay whats owed on my account,LESS the £220 that i should have recieved then i will be closing this account. BE WARNED BUYERS.

I purchased a Hotpoint fridge freezer last year April 2020. When I received the item, I noticed that it had a slight mark on the side, this was hardly visible where the FF was going be placed in the kitchen. I also noticed that there was no protective film on the FF and later on realised that there were scratches on the surface, as thought it had been scrubbed. However, I took that all on, until the fridge stop working after Christmas, as the food was going off and getting mouldy soon after purchasing them. I still did not think anything was wrong, as the display unit had the correct readings for both the fridge and freezer. When I decided to test the fridge freezer, I noticed that the temperature indicator was not working at all. I began to think that this fridge freezer was a returned and had been used before I received it. I firstly, approached customer service, who was not helpful at all, they gave me Hotpoint’s number, AKA Whirlpool. After calling WP and being past on numerous times, and explaining the situation each time as well as my personal details, they said that I would be charged the sum of £119.00 pounds just for them to come out. There was no way I was going to spend that money for them to send an engineer out. I called back Very, when I did get through, the call operative had no idea what she was taking about, and disconnected the call, each time I called and got through to customer service I was just disconnected. I found them to be rude, and at times found it difficult to understand what they were talking about.. I decided to get an independent engineer to ascertain the fault, they charged rather sum of £85; a couple of days later I arranged for the engineer to attend, when he came, the first thing he said is that this fridge looks new inside, and after doing his thing, he concluded that the gas had been leaking internally, slowly and that it was unrepairable. This was 14 months after I purchased the item for £519.99. This was a lot of money and I was made to feel that it was my fault. I received the report and managed to speak to a lady who spoke clearly and allowed me to understand what the process was, meaning go through the complaint channel. I was informed that I would get a fund minus 20% for usage, by this stage I was tired of arguing my case. During this time they agreed to collect the FF, this was also an issue, too long to go through. In the meantime, I purchased exactly the same FF, from another supplier, this is when I can prove that I received a used item. As the new one had plastic protection film where as Very’s one had none, there were no scratches like very’s. I also believe that very sell returned/reject items as new. Example, I purchased a dell laptop, this was second hand, it was delivered without the original box, hence, I sent it back. Charging Almost £700. I personally would never purchased from very ever again. After returning the item, they sent a full refund. They really need to train their customer service operatives!

I have taken a day of work to take delivery of a large item after having several emails to say it would arrive on the said date but it wasn't delivered and then when I called to see what had happened they were completely unhelpful and wondered why I'd bothered to take time off work to receive it

I have been a customer of what is now Very, was ISME for years, but after they lost my very expensive returned parcel, claiming that because I used DPD, a decent reliable courier services over Yodel, and that my item arrived the next working business day and not 5 days after sending, they have mis-placed or someone has stolen my item from the return depot in Oldham, I have proof of delivery, but I can tell you, this doesn't seem to make any difference to the 8 members of the Very team I have spoken to in the past 2 weeks, no matter what proof I give them, it is the same old story, I didn't use Collect Plus, they can't find the parcel... Sent by DPD Friday 16th July, received and signed for by RICHARDS on Monday 19th July at 8am at Shop Direct Group, Chadderton Raven Mill, Raven Avenue, Oldham, OL98PW, they have now either lost the parcel, or a member of staff have stolen it, how this now becomes my issue is beyond me, I have CCTV in my office that proves it was boxed up and sent, and proof of delivery at the warehouse in Oldham, so from a legal stand point, I do not need to keep ringing these idiots to chase my credit to my account of £279, I can firmly tell you this, I will not be paying for this item I don't have, and look forward to you taking me to court... Once I have paid my account off, this account will be closed, and back to buying in the high street I go.

Set up an account and given a customer account number and a high credit limit. I placed an order and was accepted and told i would receive an email within 15 minutes. E mail dint arrive, I phoned customer service to ask why, i was put through to the accounts department to check my details. to my amazement I was told I did not meet the criteria and would close my account immediately. close . I find that strange as my credit rating is excellent with all the credit rating agencies. The lady on the phone was very rude and would not answer my questions regarding why this would happen, very poor customer service.

Why do companies like Very get away with offering next day delivery? Been waiting today for an order that was meant to be next day delivery. It never turned up. I called this afternoon as still hadn't received any delivery information. The customer services lady said "the system is slow. So what I can see, that you can not is that it has been dispatched and is out for delivery. It can be delivered anytime up untill 7pm" Still didn't arrive! I just received email at 10pm saying order has been dispatched. I look at tracking info and see that delivery company only received the item at 8.45pm this evening. Don't trust this company they obviously lie.

if you are reading this i only hope it is not to late to stop your order. Please please do not use This company. Customer service is beyond terrible. Very ( no pun intented) long tale. The highlights Table and chairs ordered. One chair broken and requested a repkacement. 2 weeks later 5 calls to very (non) customer services and we still have a broken chair and no expected delivery of a replacement. As yet very have failed to return a single call or email as promised. We have sadly paid for this and very clearly could not careless about customer services. The saddest part is we like the set and want to keep it. Arhhhhhh
