Ordered a fridge freezer on 30th December it arrived damaged split to bottom of freezer section with drawer also cracked. Rang customer service which was shocking spoke to an Asian lady and explained, I desperately needed a fridge/freezer for a replacement however was told I would have to purchase item again before being refunded cost of original item As they could not simply collect damaged item and replace on same day. However they were capable to collect my old fridge for a fee and deliver damaged fridge on same day... I asked the Asian lady what if I do not have funds to purchase item again and was simply told I would have to wait until 12th January for them to collect damaged fridge and then I would have to wait for funds to be placed back on my card then re-purchase and await another delivery date and possibly risk having another damaged item being sent . Not very happy with this company I found them extremely rude and they even had the cheek to say "anything else I can help you with" at the end of conversation as if they had helped me ...... Very very angry and was unable to give a detailed review on there website as there was restrictions surprisingly based around customer service etc . Think twice before you use this company.

This company needs to learn the definition of customer service. This has been my worst online ordering experience I have ever encountered. A shocking company, with a ridiculous excuse for a customer service team. I am absolutely sick of having to deal with them. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

didn't deliver on time, paid for next day delivery but took 3 weeks for the wrong items. Helpline is useless as it keeps cutting out once you get an advisor

called 11 times to complain ( after once i should have learned i wasnt going to get any where) was hung up on many times lines were breaking up, and not very good understanding English. Very need to move there business to there call center so there customers will be able to understand there call centers. This is just another company that cuts costs with VERY poor service

Very poor, bad and unprofessional service. I have called Very call centre 5 times and x3 times got hung up on by three different agents, 4th one said she would call me back and never did. The 5th kept me on hold for 22 minutes and then hung up!!, no call back at all. I was so angry I couldn't even call back. The issue was no delivery arrived and I wanted a refund of the delivery cost. Is this so hard to deal with?? Never will I use Very again. I also asked to speak to a manager and was advised no team leaders, supervisor's or Manager's work on the site. Bullshit!!!!

I’ve ordered two mirage chest of draws. Delivery was supposed to be on wed 3rd jan. Everything was fine. One arrived which was strange on Wednesday, so I called very and she said the other will come after. It didn’t so I called back and she now said it will come Thursday. Thursday our business is open 9am till 8pm but I got a text saying we missed you, but we was there still while receiving this text. The same thing happened again on friday, so I called very again and was on the phone for over an hour. They said the driver can not find the location (even though he already had been there and was the same driver). After a lot of explain very told be it will be delivered by 7pm. GUESS WHAT IT DIDNT COME! i called up again and wanted the manager. Finally got through to her and she said she would give me the delivery refund and they will definitely be delivered on Saturday. Well now Sunday and no draws and no refund. She also said she would call me back on Saturday she didn’t ring! I don’t even want this item now, but as I already have one it looks stupid!

The worst company we have ever had dealings with, the customer service is awful and if you have an issue be warned your calling a call centre in the Philippines that do not understand what you are trying to say. No where to turn in the uk so your done for.

Terrible customer service. Delivered a product with parts missing and no instructions. Then said that I had to buy another one instead of just sending a replacement and taking back the old one. They didn’t phone back when they said they would, and then one of the ‘advisors’ lied about the refund, saying that they couldn’t pay it directly. I will not use them again. Worst customer service I’ve experienced.

Call centre is shocking! has to be the worst in the world. Shop Direct Directors - if you have any concern about the service your company delivers - you would be reading your reviews daily and sincerely hope you seeing this and you actual doing something to fix it.

I am shocked at the 'service' received from very. when i finally got through to customer services i was lied to and hung up on. The delivery company they use are just as bad. I will never use very again, i am absolutely appalled. They have over £200 of my money as i paid by card and have so far not been successful in having this returned.

Awful customer service! Eventually they told me what very do is illegal. Complaints department is useless and just repeated that they’re closing the complaint! Even though it hadn’t been resolved!

Twice have delivered a product that has been damaged,being ceramic the packaging was non existent. Have had to pay for the replacement item whils waiting for credit from first item and because we want this item,have to send this back and hopefully receive credid but pay for the third replacement item. The customer care team were not much help,cut me of twice,had to keep ring back. Trying to log on the compaints procedure is nigh on impossible.

Ordered a keyboard for my daughter well before Xmas, first it got sent to the wrong place, then it never turned up at all. They even claimed I'd signed for it although they've not got the signed paperwork. It's now way passed Xmas, I've complained on the phone and via email and I've just received an email asking me what the item was and when it was ordered! I've got an account with them so they already know all of this, what a joke! Do not buy from Very!!!

Ordered a washing machine to be connected and the old one taken away. Was told the morning of delivery that the they could not disconnect or reconnect as they were 'not trained'. Called customer services and was disgusted by the service. Could not care less. Poor language skills and no knowledge of the situation. Will not be using again.

What an absolutely woeful company very is. Christmas presents due to arrive on the 19th December are still stuck at the Yodel depot. Rang Very 3 times was spun lies twice then on the 23rd after I was assured it was arriving was then told I would need to wait 48 more hours!! Needless to say that is Christmas Day who delivers on Christmas Day apart from Santa?? I would avoid very like the plague I'm so annoyed and they had no intention of informing me of these delays I had to ring 3 times!! USE ANYONE BUT VERY!!!!
