Orders went to wrong place and just left on doorstep despite instructions to leave elsewhere. Foreign call centre quite rude not helpful. Almost mythical online chat service, chat button hardly ever there, when finally got on it soooo slow to reply to each question.

worst customer service. i am a new customer and i had trouble ordering stuffs online. Rang customer service. Rather than helping they advised me that if my wish is to cancel the account they will proceed for cancellation. they are not even bothered to resolve the issue or my concerns. They had my £250 for nothing. but to get back i have to wait for at least 5 days. Not at all recommendable.

No one can give you an answer, it is almost as if their twitter is run by bots who just keep wasting your time, trying to get you to go on live chat when it is not working

I am extremely upset to have received an email today stating that my previously confirmed order has been declined and my new account will be cancelled. In a nutshell: I opened a Very account recently, to grow my credit rating. (I'm new in the UK, and here on a costly settlement visa so I can live with my partner and have the right to work. Obviously I don't have a massive credit score here yet, because I'm new. If you check in my home country, you would find a good credit rating.) There were no warning signs, only messages saying that my account has been created successfully, and ads that prompted me to buy from Very. So I ordered an HTC Vive VR 4 days ago, taking advantage of the 10% new customer discount. The headset was to be a gift for my partner on his birthday, just before Christmas. The deal also came with a headstrap and 2 of his favourite games included. The order was confirmed, and would be delivered by Monday 5 December. I was very happy indeed. Until today. I received this email out of nowhere: "WE'RE SORRY BUT WE CANNOT ACCEPT ANY FURTHER ORDERS ON THIS ACCOUNT After further checks we've come across additional information and we've made the decision to remove the credit facility on this account with a view of closing it when any balance is settled in line with our risk policy. We will therefore not be accepting any further orders and any outstanding orders will not be processed." And when I logged into my account and checked my recent orders, I found this: "Sorry, this order has been declined". Now. They sent this to me AFTER Cyber Monday deals were over. So even though I chose their store over others (because of the credit rating and the bundle and the savings, of course), I cannot find anything even remotely close to the same deal anywhere now. Even their own store doesn't offer the same deal. If I had known that I would be rejected, then I would have asked friends/family to open a Very account and given them the cash (yes, I do have it, but your site insisted on using the "take 3" option). Now it's impossible, and to get the same product I'll have to pay approx. £800 instead of £540 - because Black Friday weekend and Cyber Monday deals are done. (I spent a good 15 hours researching and deciding and choosing the Very store - although, to be fair, it did seem too good to be true. Now I know it was.) Why say that my account is active and I can buy if that isn't the case? If I paid cash, would my order still be on its way? To say I'm disgruntled would be an utter euphemism. I wonder if they treat UK citizens in a similar way? Their info wasn't merely misleading - it was a blatant lie. And by the way: their site's account "upgrade" button/link is broken. Or is that also an empty offer?

Appalling customer service. Waited 5 weeks for a delivery which was supposed to be 48hrs. Cancelled the order and asked for a confirmation email on 3 separate occasions but never happened. Cost of non arrived item still not taken off my account.

I've been a very customer for around 10 years, I pay on time every month. My payment was due 17/11/17 and made a payment online, when I checked online banking it wasn't showing so I contacted them. I was advised to get in touch with my bank which I did, they said they could see I tried to make the payment but mis-typed a digit on my security code. They couldn't do a printout but I was happy for them to contact my bank which they refused. The woman I spoke to was extremely unhelpful and kept repeating what she was reading from her script. There was no good will gesture and have said that i will still get the late charge. Have spent thousands of pounds over the years with this company and recommended them in the past to friends and family, wish I hadn't now. I've been trying to get my credit rating up and this is gonna be a huge knock back. I pay on time every month and I don't feel like their customer service is appalling! Once I've paid the rest of my balance I won't be using this company again. Disgraceful!

Everything went wrong your customer sevice, your website. Your an absolute scam. I would have rated you a 1/2 a star but it didn’t give me an option and if I did that would be jenerous so this website is POO I’m being honest when I say never order anything from them. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! They don’t deceive it. 🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼 You suck

ABSOLUTE HORRENDOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE Where do I start!! Ordered furniture 04/11 and was promised delivery 10/11 which never happened apart from one of the 4 items arriving before this date and left with an elderly neighbour ( yes solid wood tall set of drawers ) . Was advised other 2 items are delayed until 24/11 - still I don't have the items and again no update on new delivery date . I have been lied to and promised so many things that have not happened. Have asked for complaints to be opened and notes to be added on account and this hasn't been done . I have been on several chats with agents and have been disconnected and then struggled to chat back with an agent . And now my order had been cancelled by one advisor, was told on next chat to reorder and that it was in stock to find oh no it's not in stock and they are not getting any further stock . Leaving me with a piece of furniture from one range and I now have to buy remaining furniture that is not the same range and won't match 😲 I could go on and on but don't feel the company care about it's customers and bad customer journeys. ** Please take care when ordering furniture that it will definitely arrive before dismantling your current bedroom and being left with masses of clothes dumped around the house and on beds that are due to be slept in ... **

everything! first cooker had missing parts and chips took a week to get it picked up and didn't refund delivery although faulty, and then ordered replacement, showed in stock and delivery was arranged but it din't show, after chasing it don it seems they din't have it in stock for another 2 weeks, so tried to cancel order, but as it showed 'Dispatched' it could not be cancelled, I would have to refuse the delivery. They had already charged my Credit card and were unable to refund it until the item was refused and returned to them. bunch of cowboys, do not order anything from these guys. customer service is not helpful in resolving issues, took 3 attempts to get a return arranged, and most of all their website is very misleading showing in stock when it is not, locking you into this situation you can't get out of.

Ordered a super dry t shirt , they sent out a different more expensive super dry t shirt. I sent it straight back with all the order details and packaging and then 3 weeks later they sent an email saying that they have received it but as it was not the t shirt that I ordered so they can't credit my account. So now I'm£25 out of pocket . They have stolen 25 pounds from me. Spent nearly hour and half on phone being bounced around very hard to understand poor English speaking advisors with no resolve. Going to contact the police and report a fraud . Going to close my account and and never use again. .

Have never experienced such bad customer service in my life and it seems Very is getting away with it everyday of the week. I applied for an account on the 13th of Nov and got accepted and they gave me £600 credit limit. I didn't actually order anything until the 19th so as far as I was concerned everything was fine. As I was putting the order through I didn't want to choose BNPL option or Take 3, I just wanted the normal monthly minimum payment but I could not see that option available so had to choose BNPL which was annoying. Anyway the order was confirmed with expected delivery 23rd of Nov. I had really taken my time selecting the items I wanted and was quite excited about receiving the parcel. Well, yesterday ( day before delivery) I get an email saying that they've been unable to process my order due to further checks on my account, my order has been declined and account will be closed??? Is it, really! Obviously I got upset and thought they should at least explain WHY they waited till I ordered for them to then reject me? I got on the phone and the battle began. The first 3 times I got through only to be hung up on. Then managed to get through to a man who actually let me explain the situation before he decided to disappear with the call still goin??? By now I'm getting seriously frustrated but wasn't giving up. Tried again on the 0800 nr but it just cut straight away? I found 2 other numbers and one of them actually worked. Got through to a lady and I explained the situation again, she seemed like a helpful lady but how wrong was I. She claimed to be trying to put me through to the Right department and put me on hold. After couple of minutes she got back on the phone and said she's still trying to put me through. Put me back on hold and after a few minutes the crappy music stopped, then it went silent and then the call just cut. What the heck was that!!! Unbelievable! After 8 tries I finally gave up but I was left feeling really angry with a lot of bad thoughts goin through my mind. Wish I had read the reviews before I applied. If that's how Very want to treat customers, they won't last long. Do not get an account with them, their service has not improved!

Advertising out of stock tumble dryer on website. Hoover fulfil the orders so phoned me to offer a replacement. However, they unfortunately then sent the wrong model. I spoke to Hoover customer services who were very helpful and said they would happily collect from me but that I first needed to speak to Very.co.uk to authorise and update their systems so that I could receive the refund. Very.co.uk customer services do not answer their phones - 0800 number which rings, then as soon as you connect to an operator it cuts you off. I tried dozens of times and this happens. Then tried webchat - which took 50 mins as the operator could just not understand the situation and was going round in circles. I am 37 weeks pregnant and to be honest have given up trying to resolve as it's too stressful for me at this point in time. However, I can be certain that I will never buy from very.co.uk and my advice is that you avoid at all costs. Worst customer service experience.

I have ordered a router, and received a receipt from Paypal on paying the said item. I log into my Very account and see an order No and payment with a notice saying this order as been decline. I click the cancel a few hours later, but it informed that this can't be canceled. I can't query this because they are busy. So, I don't know if it will be delivered or not and I can't get an explanation. In other words they are useless. I now want to cancel and order from someone who know what they are doing

The quality of the prague mirrored chest of drawers was shocking the holes for the wooden rods were not big enough a manufacturers error therefore the wood would split when forced. The customer service when it came to re ordering the parts which had split was extremely painful they quoted a 10 day delivery so my chest of drawers was incomplete for a long while plus it's not robust. I would never recommend anyone buying any products from this company

Terrible customer service. I have spoken to three advisors regarding returning faulty goods. I was upset by the experience. They were all either very ruder or dismissive. The last one screamed down the phone, I have never been treated so badly. They obviously don't have a clue. Put on hold for ages while they try to figure out what you are talking about. Asked to speak to a manager and that doesn't happen. Awful truly horrible .

I will never use Very again! I had some problems last year with delivery on orders, which I had to persistently chase, dealing with calls and online chat. Giving ‘Very’ the benefit of the doubt, decided to use the company again, placed an order, hoping for delivery, but alas 4 days after the delivery date, still not received. Contacted Very via online chat, spoke to an agent, who obviously wasn’t interested and continually put on screen automated security questions, which I answered several times, and because this kept happening, I was unable to have my queries answered. I eventually typed in all my details and asked him to stop putting up automated questions, to be told I’d failed the security questions, contact via phone. The following day I tried again via chat as couldn’t get through on the phone, the agent appeared very friendly and helpful, however there was nothing she could do and I would need to contact Very the following day. I then received an email stating the item I had ordered was damaged in transit, and they would refund my account. Why wait 6 days to inform me of this, I should have been informed immediately, I should not have had to chase my order, and no replacement was offered. Do not use Very.co.uk, they do not delivery what is paid for, and very poor customer service.

Disgusting costumer service to say the least!! Can't understand what I'm saying I can't understand what they are saying. Arrogant and rude and had a habit of keeping u on hold for ages before cutting you off!! Bring customer services back in the UK our culture of human rights and respect is different to how they may deal with things over there albeit they would be expected to follow very customer service guidelines!! A total disgrace, they are brilliant at delivering and the quality of items but customer care afterwards leaves u to feel like killing yourself cos yr that angry with them!!!!! They should be on watch dog and ppl should be compensated!!!!!

I honestly have had the worst customer experience I have ever had trying to deal with Very customer services. I will be paying my account off and closing my account down asap. I ordered a wardrobe on 1pth October. It arrived on 30th October and only one box out of 3 arrived. I rang them and after 3 or 4 calls was eventually told I would have to return the wardrobe and re-order rather than them just send the 2 missing boxes. To get a line where u can hear each other clearly is hard work and if you do manage to get through then to have them conprehend what you are saying is very difficult indeed. A further wardrobe was ordered and they charged us delivery and the price of the wardrobe had gone up. I'm guessing another 4 calls to try to sort this with not a great deal of understanding. It is frustrating to say the least. Another wardrobe came and yet the original one is still sat in my kitchen (incomplete). The wardrobe that arrived was damaged. Called them and was told we had to reorder another and again they charged us delivery and an even higher price. We demanded immediate delivery and was told would be delivered the following day...complete lie! After waiting in we rang and was told delivery had been booked for Tuesday (3 days later) adviser did not see a problem. Then got a text to book delivery and no option to book Tuesday. They have no clue and I would not order from them again. We have wasted so much time ( booking time off work to receive deliveries and also asking people to babysit so we can build furniture) trying to sort this out and when we tried to complain they said they would wipe delivery charge! Thus should not have even been added as we have already paid for delivery. Disgusting customer services
