Not delivered on time terrible customer service parcel lost in transit by Royal Mail I know we’re all busy this time of year but that’s no excuse for incompetence and poor service will never use again.

Terrible company I should read the reviews before orderring. I ordered a wardrobe waited 3 weeks for it to be delivered and only received half of it. Called customer service and was on the phone for more than one hour being put on hold or to other departments which had no idea about my query. All I wanted was another part of my delivery. They told me I have to return the part I have and order it again which means another wait for more than a month. I cannot bother with such a unreliability. I said I said I want to return it and get a refund. Awaiting courier now and just got an email today that my very delivery is ready and they can deliver my product....I couldn't believe it. I cancelled it again. I have enough of this company. I am only giving one star because live chat people were the only ones who seem to know something and they actually promised to give me £30 compensation. Don't bother with calls to customer service resolve problems via live chat and ask for compensation otherwise they proabbaly won't offer it themselves.

Worst company and time wasters. I ordered an electric Cooker for one of our Tenant. The delivery date given was for 19/12/2017 and on 19/12/2017 there was no sign of delivery on inquiry I discovered that its delayed to 22nd December. I cancelled the order as its too late. We will never use very for our business purchases ever again.

Absolutely awful service!!!! Ordered a Christmas present to a local shop as I wasn’t going to be in for delivery, shop refused order and was told it was being sent back to very. Rang very and finally got through about 6 attempts of continuously being put on hold and then cut off (if they even answered first time!) advisors could barely speak English and didn’t have a clue what they were talking about, finally got told that they hadn’t received the order yet and I couldn’t be refunded until they had received the order, which they don’t know where it is!? So basically the parcel is lost and I won’t be getting refunded, so I paid for a Christmas present I won’t be receiving. Will never order from them again and advise to AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

My partner Helen Mills bought me a black Friday ps4 bundle for my birthday and the controller and ps4 365 subscription was missing. She has been trying to resolve this with your customer services and is getting different responses from different people I.e. 1) There was a mistake with the order and the items are now out of stock 2) There was a mistake with the price of the bundle and would we accept a £30 discount instead 3) We never should of got the controller or 365 subscription in the first place? Well I have a order confirmation clearly showing what we should have got for the price we paid. I am shocked by the way this matter has been dealt with and the poor customer service we have received. I would currently advise anyone to steer clear of this company that sells itself as a reliable honest retailer and shop elsewhere

If there was an option for zero stars this would be my option. The aftercare service is unprofessional with no efficiency. I ordered an item a week ago today. I tried to cancel the same day and was advised to wait when it was at the warehouse because it was for next day. Later that day when I saw it was at the warehouse I called and was told I had to cancel online. I was able to do an online chat and was advised differently to refuse delivery on arrival. This I did however after numerous long calls I am still awaiting my refund. I don’t understand how I can receive an order in 24 hours but unable to cancel or have my refund in 5 days. This is awful, the service is awful I will never use again.

really bad service ..they are happy to take your money and spend loads of money on adverts and celebrity models, but what they really should be doing is sorting out their customer services as i dread phoning them i know its going to be a very long phone call as 1).. its not in this country and they can't understand me very well ..there for the connection and reception is just awful and 2) i have to end up phoning them several times over the same issue as they never ever sort it out first phone call...appalling

Very little help regarding a returned item, was basically told no proof of return you pay! even though all the other items were credited back. once you start to complain phone line goes faulty, this happened 3 times.

Opened an account when I simply wanted to order something. Went through order process 3 times and each time it said my basket was empty despite me adding items to it each time. Very poor. I won’t bother again

Awful awful awful customer service. Wardrobe delivered with a crack through the mirror and they want me to wait for 28 days for it to be picked up?! absolutely no way am I housing they're faulty items. Told different things by every consultant I spoke to- Promised that the delivery company would call me and pick it up this week- Nowits 28 days and 'they can't overide the procedure' but they're 'sorry for the inconvenience caused'. One advisor used these two sentences for an entire two minutes. Asked several times to speak to a manager to be advised it will be the same answer. Finally put through and they said they had no way round this, only after the 28 days will they escalate I will NEVER use very again- EVER

The worst customer service I've ever experience, I received a text saying my delivery would be her between 12pm - 2pm on Monday 4th December. No delivery. Rang the deliver company who were excellent, told me the item was out of stock with Very. I ring Very after 20 minuets get through to someone who then tells me my item is out for delivery and tells me to ring the delivery company. Then I tell them I've already done that the item isn't in stock, whole story changes pone operator then says is coming into stock today, 4th Dec. We rearrange for delivery on the Thursday following week. I rang the next day just to double check it had arrived in stock to be told it wont be in stock now until 18th and deliver will be the 20th! to close to Christmas for my liking. Rang the next day to request a refund which I had been offered the day before. Was told my money would be in my bank within 48 hours, surprise money didn't go in. Rang again was passed to a "manager" who said she had released the funds and apologies for the delay. She promised the money would be in my bank within 24 hours even on a Sunday! Surprise till haven't got my refund or item!!!

I ordered a dress for my son's wedding and tried to track the order, which should've arrived on Mon 11 Dec. There was something wrong with the webpage which wouldn't let me track my order. I tried speaking to the online chat who was going to pass me to the specialist team, who didn't contact me. I then went into my account to see that the order had been CANCELLED. I tried ringing twice to be cut off both times. DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE

Called to ask for help regarding making an order as i had problems with resetting my account, they were of no help at all and hung up on me. Then rung again and advised just to look on the website and they could not help me.

phoned around 20 times or phone was answerd then no one the other side. Terrible company such as shame, i have used them before and never had any problem. Feel as a customer your service is terrible when i finally got through the gentleman did not understand my good english accent. can't understand a big company employ people of no understanding of the english language. very you need to step up . won't use you again .

Truly, truly dreadful. Deliberately obtuse account page makes it hugely difficult to find what you owe or what you're paying for, exorbitant late payment fees if you're two seconds late once in 10 years, and totally dishonest stock availability dates that change once you've placed your order.

The VERY worst Xmas! Before I explain my issues with Very, I wanted to warn other NOT to trust this retailer under any circumstances - every commitment they make is false and their customer service is extremely poor! I attempted to order a TV online, to get the 10% off first purchase promotion. The website took a ton of details, opened a credit account (a requirement of the offer) and after all that told me the item was out of stock! I rang Very to find out what had happened and they told me that it’s ok they could place the order over the phone. I confirmed that the offer I saw online was still applicable with the advisor and placed the order. I received an Order confirmation and a delivery date email - all good so far. The evening before my delivery, I got a call from their logistics provider to tell me that the delivery couldn’t take place because they hadnm’t recieved the TV. I rang Very and after being cut-off twice and holding for 15mins, the advisor came back on the line and calmly (as though it’s normal) told me “your item is out of stock” and that she could offer me an alrternative. I was pretty annoyed as I really wanted THIS particular TV, but I asked anyway, what alternatives she could offer. Sufficed to say, these were all inferior, pretty awful options. When I asked how long I would have to wait until the TV I wanted would be delivered, she told me she didn’t know and that I should “JUST WAIT PATIENTLY”. That was the point I realised that Very was a pretty shady outfit! I mean, what kind of reputable retailer would say that to a customer?! A manager was supposed to call me back the next day, but before that, I decided to call them to query whether the “10% off” offer had even been applied and (you guessed it!) - NO! In short, DON’T TRUST VERY TO DO ANYTHING CORRECTLY (i.e. charge the correct price, deliver when they say, or even speak to you with any service mentality).
