Received item (a memory foam pillow) that was someone else’s returns , got charged a movement fee for returning the second hand item . No reply to letters or emails I’ve sent ,customer service helpline in South Africa are diabolical, rude & unhelpful. Really disappointed, so much that Im in the process of closing my account

Sunday 05/11/17 had a working oven and gas hob................................... Monday 06/11/17 I received an order of Hotpoint hob and oven. The hob was to be installed by a Hotpoint engineer, he fitted the hob and moved previous copper piping so the oven no longer fits. Tuesday 07/11/17 I contacted Hotpoint they agreed to send another Hotpoint engineer. Wednesday 08/11/17 Hotpoint engineer arrives but refused to touch the hob their previous engineer had fitted saying he should never have fitted it as our cupboards are too close to the hob . We are now left with a hob that is 'dangerous' and a oven that does not fit. Catch 22; Very will not refund my oven and hob as they are now 'fitted'. Total nightmare!!!

If I could award Very 0 stars I would! waited four weeks for an item that was supposed to arrive after one week, despite me calling every day assuring me that my item would turn up they now tell me that it is out of stock. No communication from them at all, I have waited in 3 different occasions for my order which didn't arrive. Disgusted!

DO NOT USE VERY.COM OR LITTEWOODS We waited over a month for our furniture, kitchen and all sorts of items. paid for some and got some finance after waiting and waiting ended up cancelling the entire order as just kept pushing us back, they are a completely useless as a company, unless you order junk at a ridiculous price. After reading some of their online reviews on both Littlewoods and Very, they are the same, they have obviously paid for someone to do this. They are an altogether conning and bad company in all aspects. DO NOT USE VERY.COM OR LITTEWOODS

Would give Zero star if I could, been a total waste of time! Don't usually leave reviews but annoyed how they accept my order and then don't want my money and cancel my account haha

I read reviews today to see if anyone had noted issues with contacting Very as i thought it was my phone that had an issue. Now i realise that it is them, ordered some perfume delivery to collect plus shop, a week after expected delivery date i used webchat to find out where it is. I was credited for the item but never given a reason why and advised to contact cust service to reorder. Easier said than done, after been told the item was out of stock but yet still showing as in stock on their website, they couldnt give me an explanation. After this the agent apparently couldnt hear me so i had to hang up. i had tried twice more, once picked up then hung up then used the same excuse again that they couldnt hear me. I have contacted other people to see if i have a phone issue and its fine. The call dropping is clearly on their side and very rude as well as their agents who do not seem to care and have a shocking attitude. I dont think VERY are interested as they havent bothered to respond to anybody on review sites. Great shopping and delivery when you get the item but all companies these days should provide good cust service. It certainly lets them down and is very disappointing. Get your act together!

Breached trading regulations selling Everyday Denby Turquoise as much more expensive Denby Azure so after we had used our dinner service for a week or 2 and then bought the proper Azure mugs we ended up with misfitting collection. Awful this goes on but i understand they are champion at it

My job entails me to deal with hundreds of companies and very is littery the worst company to buy of products don't arrive and the costumer service is diabolical,people please Do not use very.

Very advertise 48 hour delivery. On two occasions this has not been the case. I have been waiting since the 20th of October for 48hour delivery of wardrobes. 3 delivery dates none of which arrived just to be told they are not in stock and won't be till the 9th November. Bad customer service when I've called to sort this out

Awful company. We ordered some furniture and had someone come to our house at 7am in the morning for our 7-9 slot. The furniture did not arrive and the driver did not call us. The driver apparently could not find our address but didn't bother to call us. Very were less than helpful and after a hour on the phone agreed to send the parcel on the following Monday between 7am-9am. On the Sunday we received a text stating our delivery would be between 8;45-10:45am so our request that had been agreed had been totally disregarded. We still haven't had our furniture delivered and Very have refused to refund us. We have moved into our new house and have had several deliveries from other companies and haven't encountered this problem before. We used Very as we assumed they were a reputable company. I am truly disgusted with their customer service. At the moment we have no furniture and are owed £450.

I spent two hours on Thursday and two hours on Friday trying to open a account in the end I gave up. obviously they don't what business. I spoke to various customer assistants who said the computer would not let them help.

Website does not work well. I tried to order a £7 item and it ran a credit check and tried to set me up a credit account. All I wanted was to pay by debit card. Then I tried the 'close account' function (after having to search Google to see where that function was) and it would not accept the input. I tried to request a 'close account' another way and it failed. Rubbish, offering products and trying to trick people into credit accounts. Terrible, this company has no integrity, no intent to do business fairly.

Hello Just to say I'm not one for complaining but your company has caused me so much stress and upset. You are the worst company I have ever tried to buy anything from , I will never ever try to buy from you again and I just want my money back as soon as possible you have caused me so much stress that I don't want to buy anything from you and I will be telling everyone I know to not bother as it's just stressful and you sell items that are not in stock (false advertisement) you have already taken the money from my account (before you have fulfilled my order) to have me wait 3 weeks for a tumble dryer when I can get else where in 5 days. I tried calling twice Your phone line twice was breaking up, your advisors sent me to the wrong place. Your delivery people don't deliver to my area apart from Tuesday's and Thursday's! And then when they finally call to arrange delivery they call again 2 days later to say out of stock. I Am disgusted at the quality of service and it has ended up me in tears, it shouldn't be that way you are suppose to make it easier not more stressful! I just want my money back and to have this over and done with, I have never been so let down by company and it infuriates me that you took the money before you fulfilled my order!

Similar to one of the previous reviews I too purchased a laptop which wouldn't connect to the Internet. I have been trying to return it to Very and have waited in for two days for YODEL to collect it. Latest email received from Very says if they can't find anything wrong with it they will send it back. All this within 30 days of purchase. I will never order anything from VERY again. Diabolical customer service.

AWFUL!!!!! x2 faulty £600 laptops received - 1st the keypad didnt work and the 2nd is literally bent and they want me to call HP again (who just so happen to not be open till next week!) so they can come to my house and look at it to agree its bent!!! Nearly a month since ordering the 1st and still no laptop to use! Should have know as laptop i purchased before (around 2013) had to be replaced as had a german keyboard! Never a manager available and the department you need is always closed! Shocking!

Very is the most unprofessional fraudulent company to be ever created in the market of online shopping. Please avoid and please do not make the mistakes of trusting this company with your money. There is no trust with in this company. Very have a call base in an international country who are not capable of their job. They are not trained to be a costumer service advisor. The advisors have a habit of not continuing the phone call and disconnecting the call as and when they please. I’m due to be getting married in a weeks time 20/10/17. Items I have bought and paid for is worth £329. Furniture for my new home. 2 weeks after delivery nothing had been sent to my address Having £329 taken out of my account to not have the items in my possession is basically fraud. Requested to speak to a manager however on all occasions I have been told there is no management available. No courtesy to say that the manager will call you back. Please please please take my advice and do not give this company a penny as there is no way to track your money once taken out.

I saw a lovely bed frame witch i decided to buy advertised as from £299 to £701 choose bedframe no mattress went to basket and it came up as £439 so i went back and tried all buying options you cannot buy this bedframe for £299 so i phoned customer services to only be disconected during call rang again to be put through and just have somone banning the phone rang again once more only to be disconected again then tried live chat only to be told the price of the bed went up because i chose a colour did not matter what i did was not possible to buy this for £299 was then told i no this is confusing so sorry NOT CONFUSING FALSE ADVERTISING AND VERY DECEPTIVE.Iam so angry about the way the chat infered that it was me who was stupid i will never shop with very again.

I didn't realise that when you paid towards buy now pay later goods, that you also had to make a payment towards a monthly minimum payment. Very reported a missed payment to the credit reference agencies and refused to get this taken off. I had been a good customer and paid things off quickly, as they admitted at Very. Oh well what can I say. Misleading information and poor customer service to say the least. Good bye and good riddens to Very. My advice is to stay away. My account is now closed !
