Was a platinum customer missed one payment of buy now pay later by one day!!! Was made to pay the rest of my balance of £2.034 which put myself and my husband in great hardship, complained about there customer service section who treated me as though I was a criminal after 15 years being a customer now closed my acccount and never had a call back from the manager as promised

Worst online retailer ever. No one on the phone seems to have a clue about company procedures and will refuse to let you speak to a manager. Avoid at ALL costs.

Shocking service. Waiting for a call back from a manager since 6th July. Tried live chat and telephone all agents completely useless. Being charged for an items and service which have not been received. Company is an absolute joke.

I have never bought anything off this company. I do not have an account this this company, and for nearly two years they keep sendng me statements. How can a company as bad as this still be in business. 1 star on trust pilot from over 11,000 people. 1.5 stars on their own website! It is ridiculous.

i pay for my deliveries so why everytime does my parcel get put on the ground (while he clicks away on his machine) no communication exept once wen i had to sign n he kept hold of the machine n i informed him im not capable of bendin dwn 3 steps (he tutted and pushed the machine at me) took it back and walked away parcel stil left on door step is there a problem with handing me my parcels ? i dnt smell honestly!

- no email confirmation of order in spite of being accepted on website at point of order and payment being successfully taken. Very credit agreement opened at same time, emails received confirming this was done successfully. - checked online and find that orders have been declined. No explanation, no email, no call - called customer service and was advised orders declined at 8am yesterday due to “extra checks” refused to explain what these were. Refused to provide any information in spite of request. - couldn’t explain why my credit account was still active on the online portal if the application was indeed declined. Eventually admitted she was removing my credit limit during the call. Suggests the credit account was never legitimately declined. - unprofessional conduct throughout. Lack of clarity and information. Conduct contrary to consumer legislation and suspect order was declined possibly due to a desire not to provide the advertised discounts. - refused to let me speak to a manager. Refused to provide an email contact for complaint in spite of being an online retailer.

Impossible to deal with - The customer services team is completely incompetent. The call goes to a call centre in South Africa. They can not deal with a simple request. I have found it impossible to get my refund back for a faulty item that they sent.

I am not surprised VERY has been given such a low approval rating. An LG TV purchased from them became faulty after 6 months, and they would not accept responsibility for repair or replacement - despite the fact they were the retailer (note Consumer Act 2015) and hold the warranty. I would never recommend this company to anyone, ever. If you are wise then go elsewhere!

An iron I ordered from Vey 3 months ago is faulty, they have refused to let me have a returns label insisting that they must have the manufacturer contact me first about the fault. My contact is with Very not the manufacturer, two promises of a managers to contact me about this have not materialised, still stuck with the broken iron!!!

Didn't have a problem with very up until now. Ordered an item and returned it, they then claimed they refunded me which was 2 months ago. Still now attempting to get my money back. Never ever experienced anything like it. Does not help when you have a bank who are not willing to help either.

I gave a review -100 cannot do minus on reviews. There call center is in fact in South Africa. I was told that by a customer service. Hopefully that was true. That is why you cannot get any complaints sorted. Stay away from this Company very bad news. I was also told they are trying to get it sorted. i said they need to do a lot more than that. It will be interesting to find out if I get any response of my complaints about taking time off work for goods they did not have and the numerous phone calls I have made. They also said it takes 3 to 5 days to get it sorted. I am still waiting pre end of May. Great if you have no problems, bad news if you do

Very make false claims about items being in stock on their website, when in fact they are not. I had this experience with both of the bulky, large ticket items I ordered this week. One item should have been delivered on Tuesday but courier advised it had been cancelled when I looked to find the two hour delivery window on Monday. Then it was reordered for Thursday....and again, they surreptitiously scrubbed the delivery off the day beforehand. I'm also expecting delivery of the second item on Saturday...and yet despite their website showing stock of each item, they actually have no stock of either! So, if you want to lose several days pay from lost work, and deal with a company who have no idea whatsoever about customer service (no proactive correspondence from Very - they don't call or email or text if they are going to cancel a delivery, they just mark it on your account at the last minute!) then go ahead and order. Be also warned that if you pay upfront by card...they will take your money at the point of order and it can take a while for that to go back onto your card when you are refunded. In a nutshell: False advertising about items being in stock and allowing customer to select an "available delivery date". They can't even tell me if and when the items will be back in stock, so in essence, they are selling "fresh air"! Avoid this set of clowns if you don't want to be out of pocket and massively inconvenienced.

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE SERVICE! ORDERED A NEW OVEN AND ARRIVED FAULTY. THEY ARE NOT WANTING TO REPLACE IT. AN ENGINEER WILL ONLY COME OUT TO REPLACE THE THERMOSTAT IF WE PROVIDE A PARKING PERMIT OR ENSURE A PARKING SPACE IS THERE!??!!? HE CAME THE FIRST TIME AND IN BUSY EDINBURGH CITY CENTRE COULD NOT FIND A PARKING SPACE SO LEFT!!!I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED THIS EVER!! TERRIBLE FROM START TO NOW....DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!!
