I booked tickets for a World Cup match through Viagogo and couldn't be happier with their service. I was very nervous based on all the negative reviews that I had read, but my experience was very positive. I received the tickets as ordered, which enabled me to get a Fan ID. The Fan ID gave me passage into Russia (instead of having to go through the visa process). On the day of the game it was a smooth process to get into the ground. Thanks to Viagogo I was able to attend my first ever World Cup match.

Sorry for the others, but Viagogo delivered on just what they promised. Swan Lake at the ROH was practically sold out, yet Viagogo provide an 'instant download' ticket that got me straight through to my seat. Did I overpay for the ticket? The performance was worth every cent!

Everything we expected - was a bit dubious about buying Six nations tickets for Rome especially when we received only Etickets but the seats in the stadium were reasonable and good value. Beware your money goes through international clearing & fees appeared on my credit card and my fellow travellers had problems trying to contact viagogo with a question so make sure you print off and cover all angles, apart from this I would recommend

I bought 6 tickets for the Abu Dhabi F1GP. When I received the confirmation it showed that the tickets were for 2 days but only the date of the first day was mentioned. Called, was kept on hold for guite a while and told it was for 1 day only and was promised that they will ask the seller to make it for 2 days. Didn’t hear anything for a week and called again. Again kept on hold for a guite a while but then rest assured that the tickets were for 2 days. After that everything went smooth, was kept informed about the name change and the release of the tickets. At the venue also no hick-ups whatsoever. Viagogo is not a criminal organization as far as I am concerned, like I read in some reviews.

Yes I did pay a bit more then the face value of the ticket but I got good tickets and I was happy to go to an event for which there were no other tickets at the time. Yes their customer service is mostly pre-written reply's but someone actually did call me about a problem I had and so I am happy with the service I received.

I was fully aware that viagogo is a sell-on ticketing site so was expecting to pay inflated prices. After purchasing two tickets for Ball & Bow at The O2 and receiving a download for my tickets I was concerned, after the reviews I’d read re Viagogo, that my tickets may be invalid. I emailed them and got a prompt, positive, response explaining how their company operated, with a contact phone number should I have any problems at the venue. The person selling the tickets via this site, does not get their money until AFTER the event. Although I was still anxious, I arrived at the venue, tickets were scanned through, perfect seating! Expensive, yes. But it was a sell out show which I desperately wanted to see, and I did!

Viagogo is a reliable website to buy and sell tickets. The process is very simple and they provide clear instructions every step of the way. My only slight issue was it is impossible to call someone if you need help. Every link in the website just takes you to other on-line forms. Bit frustrating, however my ticket purchase and sale went through fine.

I'm giving 3 starts, because I'm not supporting Viagogo in this what they are doing, but fortunately I had good experience and everything was without problems. For example, I bought 2 Post Malone tickets 2 days ago. Post Malone had concert yesterday in Copenhagen, so I bought it only one day before the concert. The FIRST problem is that they used the common tactic, how to persuade the customer to buy the ticket. U can find that system on the internet. Firstly they show you really good price for the ticket, they say that there is only few tickets left (1 in my case), they show you the fake timer of you reservation (so take your time, there is no real timer :) ), then they ask for your personal information included your credit card number and so on, and in the very last step, they show you the final price, that includes high handling and booking fees, usually 20-30% of the price of the ticket. BUT, that's not a SCAM, that's not a fraud. It's only because people are naive and inattentive. I knew that this ticket is not the last one, that I have no timer and that there will be high fees, however, I still bought tickets under the real price. Real price was 650kr (88€), ticket price on viagogo was 395kr (53€), fees were approximately 30% so total price was 512kr (68€). So I still bought tickets under their value. The SECOND problem, is when people order tickets to their home, to their address and don't order E-Ticket. Don't do that, there is a chance that these tickets won't arrive to your address :). My e-tickets came to my email few minutes after purchase. Here comes the THIRD and BIGGEST problem. These tickets are valid, however, they can be sold more than once, respectively the seller that sold this ticket through Viagogo, can go the event as well. That's why it's really risky to buy tickets from resellers. This applies only for tickets where information and code are not changing by reselling. However, they can't be used more than once. That means, that there is a CHANCE, that you won't be able to entry, because this tickets was already used. So if you want to limit this chance, the best way is to be there first :). We had seating tickets, that means, normally, people don't rush to the venue. They can come 15 minutes before the concerts, and they will still have their seating place. So we were 1 hour before the opening of doors at the entry. We made sure that we are first there, and we successfully got inside. I'm also sad for people that maybe had the same tickets as ours of course, but they chose to buy through viagogo, their duty was to check the reviews of Viagogo and to find out that it's risky. We knew the risk. I'm not happy with the way that Viagogo works, but it's NOT a SCAM, everything is legit, because Viagogo is only reseller, that's why this website is still running and selling :). The FORTH problem is service, in the most cases, if you ask for the return because the ticket haven't arrived or was already used, you won't get answer :) You can try, but it's not guaranteed. To sum up, I DON'T recommend buying tickets from this website. Try to find another way, It's risky and misleading. However, if you know the risk, and their misleading tactics, you can try :).

My daughter bought 2 tickets for Kevin Bridges is Aberdeen for a special Birthday present for a special birthday paid £175 thinking would be fabulous seats and when they arrived tickets valued £25 extra cost £28 . Con merchants or not ? Never use these these fraudulent merchants. Be warned .

I purchased a ticket to Metallica concert via viagogo but the ticket arrived with the previous owner name on it. I was not admitted to the venue and spent an hour in the queue to get another ticket. To remain fair - viaga returned the money very quickly and also gave a voucher for the same amount to spend on their website (which possibly will get me to more troubles)

I order football tickets to a game in Berlin on viagogo. I was traveling from California; I bought the tickets three weeks before I left. On the site they give you the option to have the tickets delivered to your your home address on the last day you can retrieve them there and if they cannot arrive before you travel to the game the tickets can be shipped to the second address they let you enter, which is the travel address. In the end my tickets arrived to my home address 7 days after the last day I said I could retrieve them there. I then had to pay for the tickets to be mailed to the correct travel address in Europe. They didn't arrive on time. I missed the game. It was a big disappointment and waste of money buying tickets from Viagogo.

Be very careful if you are Disabled, Elderly, Unable to walk far or Have young children.. I would love to give a higher score, after such a great night at the O2 last night. Brilliant seats- great view. Unfortunately, it could have been so much better for the following reasons. Firstly, I booked the tickets & paid way over the odds for them. This included a high delivery charge. I knew this was the case, but as it was a last minute decision, I decided to accept the £50 add-on for two £43 tickets. Eye-watering add-on I know. The day I was due to receive them I got an email saying they weren't available any more. And was told it was too late for delivery so they would need picking up. I wasn't concerned by this, especially knowing we had just bagged ourselves much better seats. I assumed this would be from a ticket office in the Arena. I started to do some research and discovered some people were happy enough, as the pickup point was around the corner, but most were desperately unhappy. I contacted Viagogo and asked where our pickup point was and then learned it was all the way in Soho. I phoned & spoke to a sympathetic person, who was not English, so I assume didn't know the locations, who could not appreciate fully how much of an effort this was. We were travelling nearly 4 hrs to the venue already and didn't want another journey on top. I couldn't resolve the problem. Our second problem then was we had to travel 4 hrs, park up and pay an additional cost for tube tickets into London. It took us nearly 1 hr to find the place (after a long walk from the tube station in London). Horror stories online told of people waiting hrs outside the postbox place, with a short window of time before the event. Fortunately, the guy there said it was never ever normally like this (we were the only ones picking up when the limited 2 hr slot time opened). He said it was normal for people to be queuing down the street. We then had the long trek back to Westminster, to get back on the tube for the Arena. We had great seats, and for that we were thankful, but the other inconvenience was not acceptable. It was only because we are able- bodied, fit adults, without children that we managed this. It is absolutely ridiculous that people have to travel so far for the tickets. This may be acceptable for people who live in London, but for the majority of Britain it isn't. I gave 2 stars because the tickets were great but the extra inconvenience deserves only 1 star. It would have been a minus if it had been raining & there was a big queue, resulting in us missing the start of the concert, as has happened to lots of poor people. I never even questioned the huge price markup. If I ever need to buy from a resale company again I will think very carefully about who I buy from. Buyer Beware...
