Virgin Experience Days was launched in March 2001 under the name of Virgin Experience. Originally offering experiences to corporate clients as a way of incentivising staff and customers, the company rapidly expanded to bring the Virgin values of quality, innovation, value for money and fun to the consumer experience gift market.
The summer of 2003 was a real milestone for Virgin Experience. In our continual quest to bring the best experiences and unrivalled service, we joined forces with Acorne Sports. Founded in 1988, Acorne Sports is the original experience company and it’s their stamp of approval that confirms our pedigree and ability to deliver unforgettable experiences. Acorne ’s unrivalled reputation, knowledge and relationship with all of the featured centres made them the perfect partners for Virgin Experience, a company dedicated to making sure customers have the very best time. By teaming up, we are able to challenge the way every experience is provided and offer once-in-a-lifetime gifts backed up by friendly service staff with first-hand knowledge.

“I was bought a virgin experience day for my birthday, and it was amazing! So easy to book on to, and the support given from staff was helpful and efficient! It's so much better to receive an experience present, as these memories will stay with me forever, rather than an old jumper that will end up in the back of the wardrobe! Had the best day, couldn't recommend more!”

“We are Pensioners and the restaurant at Bishopsgate made us feel inferior and uncomfortable it was a gift voucher and was spoilt by Marco Pierre White”

We can only sincerely apologise that you did feel that you was being treated differently to other guests and we will be sure to pass your comments onto the supplier directly so that these can be monitored moving forwards as this is certainly not what we like to hear.

“Carlisle venue a great place for sightseeing. Hotel slightly disappointing on arrival to room as website showed ultra modern furnishings and facilities but in reality our room was greatly in need of a refurbish. Staff very helpful as tv remote not working but was replaced. I later found bedside lamp not working. My husband had to alter shower rail in bathroom. However it was clean. Lovely breakfast.”

“Usually very good but read the small print as often it is not all it seems. We had dinner (experience) in a lovely restaurant recently but the choice of menu was very limited. Also advise that you book most experiences well in advance as the venues offered are often full booked for weeks ahead.”

“Definitely worth it, great day out, service was great and all went with ease with handing over the voucher. Great gift and would definitely recommend. Afternoon tea at the Lowry Hotel Manchester. Service impeccable, Friendly and welcoming. The food selection definitely matched the 5* hotel rating. Will be going back to try the Sunday lunch looked amazing and atmosphere to match”

“We had a brilliant day out at The Shard and then at Marco Pierre Whites steakhouse in Chelsea .. fabulous views from the Shard especially with a glass of Moët ! Then onto the steakhouse where we had a lovely 3 course lunch including a choice of 5 cocktails and we opted to pay extra for the ribeye steak which was cooked to perfection ! Great value day out .”

“Myself and my partner booked the pizza making experience in Covent Garden it was such a great laugh, made to feel very at ease and the pizzas were so nice! Would recommend to anyone who wants an evening of laughter and food. The staff were great fun.”

“My partner had got me a voucher for an over night stay and what a beautiful hotel it was we stayed at the Oakley court in Windsor. It was so easy to book staff at virgin were helpful and every detail that was on the information section on the website was correct. We would happily use this website again as we love to have weekends away!”
